I think Ross and Charlie fit well, along with Rachel and Gavin. But, yeah - Ross and Rachel were special. It's too bad that the show's writers/creators seemed to want to hold off
one of the hottest kisses on the show, love it!! Jen and David were just brilliant together, no other couple comes close - fact. even when Ross and Rachel were fighting, their chemistry shined through!! it was amazing!
The first kiss was about being passionate for their love. The second one was how badly they want to kiss each other. And the third one was about remembering how intense they used to be together.
Nobody on this show had better, hotter kisses or love scenes than Ross and Rachel/David and Jen!! No wonder they had a crush on each other. Their kisses are insanely sexy, uff. What a kiss!
I stumble upon sooo many videos of friends before watching the full series (still at season 4 tho) and still cannot believe ive never stumble upon this scene. Even in discussion or compilation, no mention of this scene. Really love this scene so much like really really
It just shows you how much Rachel is so pity and sad because she doesn't Ross to be happy and she doesn't wanna be happy with him. Deep down, she loves seeing him miserable and having been someone infatuated with her so she feels like the horrible person she still is even back in high school
This kiss is so damn hot, sexy, and passionate, you can actually see it's not just Ross&Rachel, it's David and Jennifer in this scene. David left her breathless, lol. I'd kill for somebody to kiss me this way!! 🔥I remember Jennifer said a few times in the various interviews that David was an excellent and the best kisser on Friends, and she liked it very much. She said it again only a few days ago. And looking at the passionate Ross&Rachel kisses, it surely seemed that way. I wonder if they incorporated it into the show, when Rachel tells Jill, her sister, that Ross is a great kisser and later says the same to Mona.
Amazing how the writers have smuggled the truth about Rachel and Ross between the lines. Rachel had always wanted Ross, but as a spoiled, rich, popular girl since childhood, she couldn't swallow her pride and admit to her part of mistakes in this relationship, so she couldn't just go to Ross to compromise and come back to him. It wasn't until Emily and Ross' wedding shock news, that forced her to act, but by then it was too late and Rachel did well to back out in the end. But literally every crazy thing she did--with Joshua, with Bonnie, with Emily--indicated that she wanted Ross, and she was venting and trying to cope in this way, she even told Monica and Phoebe herself--that her crazy behavior with Johsua was really because of Ross in this episode. And she's been giving subtle signs that she wants Ross all the time - even when Ross was alone and they were apart, but a lot of fans don't even notice those subtleties. Ross did the same with Emily - he rushed to marry her, ultimately making a hasty decision because he wanted to force himself to forget about Rachel as soon as possible, but couldn't - so he said her name at the altar. It was a Freudian slip - Ross always thought of Rachel, no one else, and always wanted her, David himself characterized it that way in an interview. They always wanted each other but both had to swallow their pride and grow up, and their relationship was this kind of crazy passionate love you can't live with, and at the same time, you can't live without, and the songs that define Ross&Rachel on this show: 'Wicked Game' and 'With or Without you'- are literally about this kind of love! Ross and Rachel were also in denial after, and this is also in the Wicked Game lyrics: the ironic 'nobody loves no one'. The writing of Ross&Rachel was in fact genius and subtle this way.
Just wow explanation. Had been through such a relationship so yes many such couples exist. It's not at all unrealistic as many people claim . In fact mondler is rare and roschel are many, love is what holds them together at the end.
I do agree with you about Rachel ! but I think the same thing can be said about Ross in terms of being spoiled he was told he was #1 by his mom at least so I think that would play a role in how women are treated by him. That being said Rachel and Ross’s fathers treated them to be a “certain way” I always got the impression that Rachel’s dad “ spoiled her yes with fancy items “was expecting her to marry someone who would support or like he did and that he didn’t think she was supposed to have a career because she was a woman. Then with Ross it was revealed that his father in the episode with Sandy, was disappointed in Ross because he was not Manly so to speak. In my opinion it plays a role on how they treated each other.
Yes right they both made mistake but Ross made a one mistake which was not able to be forgiveness forgettable or also not able to be compromised besides any mistake would a second chance but this one not at all no away but you are right they can't live with each other because of for their own probles but at the same time they always loved each other very very much that's why they also can't live without each other too in this show it's was heart touching too ..😅😅
Totally best line ever and then she tries to cover it up which totally does not work he's all: you still love me! It's like holy crap you still love me!!! And she's fidgeting n-n-n-no i don't... hes like you DO YES YOU DO!! Those two have great chemistry together
1:11 Rachel: ''Yeah, so, you love me!'' Ross: ''Huh, no, mmmm'' Imao David is hilarious 😆 David perfectly expressed how much Ross wanted to deny that he still loves Rachel, but he couldn't - because, in fact, he never really stopped loving her, and at the same time, just the way he said the short line - was incredibly funny. David as Ross was always my fav, he was the best, incredibly brilliant, and way, way more brilliant than Perry as Chandler. David is underrated while Perry is overrated, imo. Perry only had his sarcasm, but his sarcasm stopped being brilliant more or less, around seasons 6 -7, and Chandler was very boring, later. Also, even if Perry invented some of Chandler's jokes himself or help with it, doesn't change the fact that most were written for him by the writers, and if you have a great sarcastic line already written, it's not that hard to deliver it because great sarcasm speaks for itself. David was hilarious from the very beginning of the show to the end and he invented all Ross's brilliant physical bits - faces, gestures, which weren't in the script, or even entire moments, like the one with the umbrella, in the first episode. David said in the interview he read the script of the pilot and in the original script, while greeting Rachel, Ross didn't have anything to do, so he asked the writers to add the umbrella moment, to make him do some of the physical comedy he loves. And it was a genius idea because it was not only funny but also this small detail perfectly introduced Ross to the audience - lovable, clumsy nerd. He was just way better than Perry. As for Ross and Rachel - I can't even understand how some people think they would be better apart or didn't expect them, to get back together at some point. Even this scene confirms, that Ross and Rachel will always end up together, no matter how many obstacles and crazy situations they will face on their way. It's clear they were established as star-crossed lovers on this show from the very beginning!
@bapparawal Ross didn't dump Bonnie because of her hair. Ross literally did it because of what happened here, in this very scene, which is why it's such a dramatic, emotional, important scene. Ross dumped Bonnie because Rachel confessed to Ross here, on the beach, that she still loves him!! This was crucial because Ross didn't think Rachel still loved him, after all that had happened between them. Literally, half of season 3 and the whole season 4 is about it - about how Ross and Rachel deny the real feelings they still have for each other, and how they try to move on, ending with Rachel realizing she never stopped loving Ross, and going after him to London. When Rachel said here, in this scene, that she still loves him, he understood they have a chance to be together again, and Rachel was the love of Ross's life, always, so it was obvious he was going to break up with Bonnie. He tried to move on with Bonnie and others in this season, as anyone would in his situation when he thought Rachel stopped loving him. But here he got the most important info - that Rachel still loves him, and that is why he broke up with Bonnie not because of her shaved head. The hair was only for a comedy part. But the dramatic, serious part of the storyline was that Rachel confessed she still loves Ross. This is why Ross dumped Bonnie. He even again says it and expresses it later on, when he goes to Rachel's room. Secondly, it's a sitcom, and as a genre, sitcoms are based on comedy, so a joke has to be in every single scene and episode. This is why you don't hold all these behaviors of characters against them in sitcoms because it's all exaggerated for comedy's sake. Bonnie's hair bit is only here for comedy, if you take it so seriously, maybe you should watch serious dramas, not sitcoms.
Language, and you may think that he fell in love with all of these people, but the only person he ever truly fell in love with was Rachel, and his love for her was only suppressed multiple times, but, in the end, it was all futile and his love for her triumphed.
When Ross said u were the one who ended it Rachel said I broke up with u because I hated u not because I stopped loving u.Rachel expressed her feelings towards Ross and it was sweet for them to get back together.
I've always gone back & forth on who's side I was on, but the truth is I was literally on both sides at different times lol Obviously I was on Rachel's when Ross cheated on her, then I was on Ross's after Rachel was trying to make him jealous with Mark. I think they both had there not so fine moments. Clearly they just needed to be together lol Love them
I'm happy they got back together but what Rachel did was kinda wrong I mean she ruins every relationship that Ross has because she's jealous of course I want them together but when Rachel's in a relationship Ross never does that (I mean sometimes😂)
Arya Rhodes Not every relationship, Ross does that just fine, with Bonnie all she did was shave her head, with Julie all she did was tell Ross how she felt, but Emily and Mona Ross messed them up all on his own, With Emily Ross said Rachel's name and then was going to go on honymoon with Rachel, with Mona it was pure bad timing, Rachel was pregnat and living with Ross wich Ross failed to mention.
Exactly I hear people say all the time Rachel shouldn't have gone to the wedding but the thing is A. he invited her, B. he probably would have messed up anyway, and C. if he hadn't the marriage probably still would have sucked. The only one she actually messed up was the girl at the baby store.
She told him to give emily whatever she wanted, in the beginning she encouraged him to start something with emily. Could you imagine how hard it would be to see the love of your life with other people
He never forced himself to fall in love with her again. In fact, he loved her since highschool and tried numerous times to force himself to /not/ love her, which he managed. For a time. Eventually, in The Last One, he ultimately failed for good. And I won't answer the first part of your comment. I'll let Ross do it. *Ross*: WE WERE ON A BREAK!
Rachel only suggested the break. She didn't decide it.He did when he walked out on her and hunged up the phone on her.And break or no break, having sex with another woman after the fight proved that Rachel and their relationship meant absolutly nothing to him.
well by the 9th season?? she had grown up. remember the first episode is her running from her wedding...then she works as a waitress/dates ross...eventually becomes a calvin klein personal shopper...and then moves into management-or designer of some kind and by the end she's being invited to make a real life decision/change to go to paris...and by the end she figured out what she wanted. i think she grew out of her selfishnes at the end.or the writers wanted the fans to be happy. and the kid!
thank you! ross was right. rachel clearly said they were over so he could be with whoever he wanted. if they had stilll been together when it happened then it would be cheating
Ross looks for those happy days they seem so hard to find he tried to reach for Rachel but she closed he mind what ever happened to love it used to be so nice it used be so good so when she hears Ross can’t she hear him sos the love he gave her nothing else can save her sos when she’s gone how can he go on when she’s gone though how can carry on Rachel can’t find it somewhere in her heart to forgive Ross he hopes she can but she can’t and I know the best thing is that he always finds it in his heart to forgive her but I don’t know why she can’t find it in hers I love her no matter what but still I thought that she would but I guess not we love you Jennifer .
Besides when she came to do this again to ross in london, she took the high road and simply congratulated him. Quite a relationship eh? Bastard writers took us for a 10 year long ride.
I dunno why everybody's getting so worked up. Everyone is sides with Ross in the matter of their relationship. The truth is...Rachel had no idea how to be committed to one person, and she had no idea how to survive in the real world. He wanted to do all the wooing meanwhile she was still learning to stand on two feet. Honestly..I think he rushed into this relationship. He wasn't giving her what she needed. She overreacted because she was stressed and emotional, but he didn't understand it.
Man, Rachel was a horrible, horrible person here. Repeatedly, openly flirted with Ross, trying to get him drunk when he had a girlfriend, despite Rachel being the one who broke up with him. Coerced Bonnie into shaving her head to freak Ross out. Kissed Ross on two separate occasions only to then give him a ginormous letter of her feelings and expect him to read it at 5am. Having kissed Ross twice, flirted with him, got him drunk and shaved his head to try and scare Ross off from her. Then, when he gets back from dumping Bonnie and attempts to kiss her, this time, unlike before where she was happy to twice kiss the guy in a relationship, she now reels back twice to provide him a list that labels every reason why she thinks he was fully guilty for their relationship ending (when, like Ross said, 'it took 2 people to break up this relationship', both were at fault, not just one), even unintentionally mocking him as a cheater when he didn't.
Chevaun Edwards it means taking some time apart but their still together.. Rachel wanted to take some time to herself but wasn't officially broken up..its like a separation in marriage.. Still together but not officially broken up
She said she wanted a break. There was no discussion needed. If Ross wanted to go with it, then fine, they're officially on a break. If not, then they weren't on a break, though whether they were or were not on a break, I don't think either of them had the right to shag anyone else.
I'm not as forgiving as Rachel really. Tbh I might not be able to hang around someone who cheated even if we have mutual friends 🤣 (well i cut ties with my family so i think it's part of me, like if you messed up with me we're over 🤣🤷🏻♀️🙈)
I don;t have to prove anytghing,When you actually love someone, who don't cheat on them or get over and bed someone else within 3 hrs of the fight or break up,and you don't need to force yourself to fall in love with them again. That's all I have to say
@@schewitt1977 Pretty sure it's common knowledge what it means. It's not break up, but that's the next step, and any way you dice it, they might as well have been there.
I saw the scene. Rachel was all like "Let's take a break!". Exactly like that. If not, then very close to it. And having sex with another woman doesn't necessarily say that Rachel means nothing to him. Otherwise, why do you think he was /hugging her legs/ after that, begging her?
Actually Rachel was the one who knew committement. She never cheated on any of the men she was with .Unlike Ross who cheated on Julie and Rachel.By that time she sjre knew how to surbvive in the real world.Ross was the one who acted like a spoiled selfish controling possessive and egocentric jerk.
I agree I actually like Ross but he totally hurt Rachel and at least he had the respect to break up with Julie before he slept with Rachel. I totally understand though he really was afraid off commitment with Rachel.
They have the best chemistry together they don't have that with anyone else
2nd close to Chandler and Monica chemistry.

its so romantic and awesome :P
❤❤
I dunno why everybody's getting so worked up. Everyone is sides with Ross in the matter of their relationship. The truth is...Rachel had no idea how to be committed to one person, and she had no idea how to survive in the real world. He wanted to do all the wooing meanwhile she was still learning to stand on two feet. Honestly..I think he rushed into this relationship. He wasn't giving her what she needed. She overreacted because she was stressed and emotional, but he didn't understand it.
Oh, yeah, sure. As if you EVER admit that you're wrong. As if you're the ones to talk about ego.
No, I'm not playing one on one strip poker with you for practice, Lmao!! Oh, I miss Chandler and Joey as a duo. RIP dear Chandler.
12 years ago...damn
me too
2:13 Ross has been summoned
Awwwwwww
@Mellisachocolate10 Last episode of season 3, I believe it's called The One at The Beach
They were on a break 😂
@uhgg
Completely Agree With You!
😊😊😊😊😊😊😊😊
Honestly? she's still pretty even without the hair. sure, it's weird but it's not bad enough to dump her. people in the 90s were so sensitive
Keep telling yourself that
0:14 :D
People obvious don't know what being on a break means...
What does it mean
Chevaun Edwards it means taking some time apart but their still together.. Rachel wanted to take some time to herself but wasn't officially broken up..its like a separation in marriage.. Still together but not officially broken up
''The moon bounces off her head''
I hate the part where she says, ''I don't know you still love me'' and he clearly doesn't.
😍🥰🥰🥰
Keep telling yourself that.
Tbh I might not be able to hang around someone who cheated even if we have mutual friends 🤣 (well i cut ties with my family so i think it's part of me, like if you messed up with me we're over 🤣🤷🏻♀️🙈)
What episode is this
👏🏻❤👏🏻❤👏🏻❤❤👏🏻
I don;t have to prove anytghing,When you actually love someone, who don't cheat on them or get over and bed someone else within 3 hrs of the fight or break up,and you don't need to force yourself to fall in love with them again. That's all I have to say
👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
💔
Oh, yeah, sure. You're just jealous I know love more than you do.
can somebody upload the scene where ross and rachel chase eachother in the one with the beach?

which door did he take again? i cant remember haha
He went into Rachel's room and they were both in there
Kayla Rene oh yeah thats right
what happened after? xD its *completely* escaped me
***** This is a serious blur for me hahaha
what episode was this could someone tell me?????????/
The one at the beach
She didn't do anything with Mark, whoever he is, but she did say that she wanted a break, which makes this all her fault.
All her fault? Because neither of them communicated on what break means did she tell him I never want to see you again??
@@schewitt1977 Pretty sure it's common knowledge what it means. It's not break up, but that's the next step, and any way you dice it, they might as well have been there.
I saw the scene. Rachel was all like "Let's take a break!". Exactly like that. If not, then very close to it. And having sex with another woman doesn't necessarily say that Rachel means nothing to him. Otherwise, why do you think he was /hugging her legs/ after that, begging her?
Wat happen next
Oh, yeah? Proves that he never loved her? Then, what do you call what happened later in the future, especially in The Last One?
Actually Rachel was the one who knew committement. She never cheated on any of the men she was with .Unlike Ross who cheated on Julie and Rachel.By that time she sjre knew how to surbvive in the real world.Ross was the one who acted like a spoiled selfish controling possessive and egocentric jerk.
I agree I actually like Ross but he totally hurt Rachel and at least he had the respect to break up with Julie before he slept with Rachel. I totally understand though he really was afraid off commitment with Rachel.
@87mrcandyman you do know your the only one that thinks that lol
