Not sure if this was a clever response by Liam as a reference to when the Beatles first went to Australia and they were put on a vehicle normally used for transporting luggage to and from the plane, so they could be paraded infront of their Australian fans at the airport. It rained heavily during that and they were given new raincoats to wear and the blue dye from the coats marked their skin as I recall.
