The Office was a great show that never had the chance to show who Rainn truly is. I think Dwight and Rainn are polar opposites, so it would've been weird to see them two collide.

Truly brother, I say that not only because I believe but also because I experience it as an actor. We are living in an era where every informations are easy and free to get but most of us are limited to chase the material things neglecting the knowledge of self, neglecting the God within Us. Things are supposed to be from within to out but we all wanna fill the spirit with the materials. If we can be able to make a balance between our soul, spirit and body. All materials will be abundance but if we only look for the material things our inner self will be a garbage for the material things.

Curious, why do people always apologize for speaking about their faith? #TheInspirationalDJ
There is a long history of people using faith to deny solid science, lie to and subjugate people, justify killing people, etc.
In the last 100 years or so, being an atheistic or agnostic science-minded individual has become sort of celebrated. It's seen as leaving behind "childish fantasies" and accepting the "cold hard truth" of life. Sometimes this can make us feel embarrassed and question our convictions as us just being wishful thinkers and stupid.
In Rainn's case, though, I think it's more that he's very aware that spirituality has been tainted by charlatans and shoved down people's throats and he doesn't want to come across as some zealot going on and on about something that some of the listeners don't believe in. He doesn't want people to feel alienated and tune out his overall message.
I see your point. Just wish that people could be themselves, take ownership in their belief or non-belief system and not have to apologize for doing so. He's making a positive difference which is the bottom line. Thanks for responding.

Those professors have to tell everyone they are going to make it because they are getting paid to inspire their students! Don't live in delusion! Very few actually make it. Sorry, Rainn but I don't believe in spirituality bs.
