Without Walkerized saws I wouldn't be porting or have a youtube channel.
I ran a nasty 372 several years ago and it said Walkers Saw shop on it.. That saw was what got me hooked on ported saws.
Walkerized saws are the gold standard of porting in my oppinion..

If you are working on your own stuff and you won't break the bank by doing so, I have been known to "load the parts cannon"
However, if you are working on a customers stuff, you have to take your time and due-diligence and make sure you are fixing their stuff correctly. Even if it means heading into the weeds with a problem.

It is so nice too see people who really knows their stuff inside out.. no matter what their trade is.. and this is pure gold to watch :) This last month or so has been crazy busy… refurbishing the house, putting on new siding, built a new and bigger balcony, painted the house, and now the boat is under refurbishing too.. Dang, I wish the day had 30 hrs instead of 24.. Haha!! All the best to you and your family Buckin', and to the Army as well.. take care and be kind :)

You're not kidding, a 30 hour day would be great.
This is over my head but the engineering is fabulous and to watch an expert is the highest form of learning.
When Buckin is learning a little extra thing here or there, i become super stoked to be there at that moment when fresh knowledge sinks into the brain.
The precision of a power saw is massive.
Thanks for this up close lesson of highly skilled experience.
Staying focused during detailed tear down is a zen mastery of the modern world.

What i find that is so phenomenal about this format is: i can get taught from someone who has a lifetime of experience in any particular subject. It is free with my little monthly internet connection. I can attend class anytime night or day. Can re-watch classes, stop and pause, go back to certain moments. AND there are thousands of people in the class everyday AND i can read comments from the viewers and students and learn from them also.
I am becoming a bigger nerd every single day with a thirst, so i search for kindness, humor and love.
    The invisible friends.
And of course music, art and nature. Keep the drama to a minimum and express gratitude for the meager existence that i have been blessed with.

Buckin I think your channel is great. I've used your sharpening tips and was able to cut with chains that I thought were junk. It is also great to see you and your son work together, to many skills have been lost in many trades. Seeing teach your son your wisdom is the same way I have learned what I know from my dad and how he learned himself. Keep up the kindness your helping a world in need more than you know. Get the gullet and wish you and the family great happiness.
