You are the best at explaining how to make the quilt Jenny. I watch others but always come back to you as love your patterns and explanations. Thank you. God bless you and your family.
This smaller size of Antique Lace is screaming CRIB QUILT! CRIB QUILT! Just in time too, because I'll be making several crib quilts in the near future.
There's a popular phrase on the internet IT'S THE LITTLE THINGS, and this sure qualifies for that award. Not harder just smaller. Perhaps a good one for a quilting retreat day.. Very pretty fabric choice Jenny. 🇦🇺💜🇺🇲💚🖐😊👍
oh they are both so pretty!!!! stunning!!!! I am seeing the quilt done with white background and scrappy all shades of blues. makes me think of old China dishes.
Oh Jenny Doan, you are a treasure!!! and when you said 32 little HSTs per block, I was shocked. But you are correct, it is a darling pattern, and I may try this quilt using HST triangle paper! THANK YOU
These itty bitty squares intimidate me something fierce! But oh so pretty! This would be a great use of all those tiny little HST triangles from the leftovers from other quilts; I have a jar full. Just might have to pull those out, square them up and make a couple squares to see if scrappy works. Always love your tutorials Miss Jenny! Thank you!
That's GEORGEOUS!!! 😍♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ My favorite is the second one because I can see the pattern easier on that one. Jenny , you know I love the big blocks if I gotta do them but, if anyone else is capable I love the tiny blocks . Laugh out loud !!😅😅😅♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️
The original quilt in this pattern is my favourite quilt of yours! I think I prefer the look you achieved in the second quilt. Either way it is beautiful 😍
I love this pattern and in fact I made the original antique lace quilt. It turned out so very pretty. I found this quilt pattern to be very mind boggling and it took me alot of thought to put it together. But it was worth all of the the effort. Thanks Jenny!
Oh!! I love BOTH versions, the original size and the smaller version!!! I really like the one where you kept the same colour together; I think I’m going to make the larger quilt version with the same-colour layout. I can’t wait to start this one. Better dig out my layer cakes to see which ones will work best. Thanks for this wonderful tutorial Jenny & MSQC Team!
This looks so fun to make. I do like the idea of using one color ❤️❤️❤️. Oh no another quilt I want to make. I will have to live to be 125 to make them all 😀
Jenny based on your other tutorial i used two honey buns, sewed them just as you did the jelly rolls and used the clearly perfect slotted ruler and cut them to 2”. I tried both that method and the layer cake method as in the video and i found the honey bun method to be easier and faster. Used the blocks to make a matching table topper/pillow set combo. Thanks a mil for this lovely tutorial
Very pretty Jenny, I especially like the one color blocks on your second quilt. My eyes are better able to see it clearly (I have old lady eye issues). I love all that you make Jenny, you are such a delight. ☺️ 🥰 Chris
I can see myself making so many mistakes with this block, quilt. But wow, once I figured it out I will have a fantastic quilt. Thank you for a very in-depth tutorial.
My mom will love 💗 this pattern. Her favorite thing is small squares. I like cheaters that make it look like I cut bunches of small squares but didn’t 😂
Wow! Love this pattern have the fabric to make the larger one. But this is very cute too. Thank you for all your wonderful tips to make it as easy as it can be! You are the BEST! Blessings Jenny.💕
Started this, took me awhile to get the hang of the “corner block” of the individual 9 squares. The square that has the “rocket legs”. (I am now good friends with my seam ripper.) Once I got all my pieces in the right place, oh my, it is so cool how the second pattern emerges.
I used the cut off triangles from your Brightly quilt kit and made a 4 block wall hanging. The squares are 1 1/4" finished. Then finished it with ruler work, sashing and a border. I love it!
Jenny, I would love to do this pattern in one color (probably blue). When you pulled out your second version that really gave me a good idea of how that would look.
My quilting buddies give me their trimmings from snowballed projects. I have had fun designing blocks both scrappy and color-grouped using those tiny triangles and cutting other odd scraps. I’m excited to try this block! Thank you❣️
Love the antique lace pattern but I really love the scrappy version even more, I sewed the blocks for the larger variation last month but am going to pick it out to resew it scrappy. As I was making the blocks I was wondering how it would look using 2 or 2.5inch squares so this tutorial is a blessing all the way around. It is timely too cause I am finishing up a king size quilt that has 2 alternating blocks, each is made up of 2.5 in half sq. triangles & 2.5 in squares. It isn't hard but does require me to pay attention to placement so I have to keep the diagrams close & refer to them constantly. Chain piecing (thread pinning) the rows has helped keep the blocks in the correct orientation, which helps me, a lot. I learned that trick watching your tutorials over the years & I highly recommend it to anyone making patterns like this one, where it is easy to get pieces turned around. Thank You for sharing your knowledge, tips/tricks & ideas with us. I still feel like I need to live as long as Noah did to get all the quilts I want to make done but my skills are growing & I am loving the journey :)
Me too! I have one quilt top with multiple colors but each block is a different color, yellows,Teals, pinks and reds already made from the last video, But now I see this one so I”ll have to do a multicolored one like this! I love this pattern!
I love this very much. It looks so delicate and feminine to me. I would love to see it less scrappy, maybe with a soft small floral pattern and white or cream. Or, a blue and cream combo. 💖💖💖
I've been thinking of making the Antique Lace quilt for my granddaughter when she gets married in soft tans & beiges. Of course she's only 14 right now but it may take that long to make if I start now!!! Beautiful quilt.
I usually prefer scrappy but my brain could make better sense of the blocks with your second quilt! A bunch of us are "challenged" in something! LOL! Thank you for sharing Jenny!
Gorgeous quilts Jenny! I love the 2 sizes for a mother - daughter or aunt and niece quilt sets. Beautiful fabric selections too. Thank you for another amazing tutorial. Love all the tutorials your company produces. 💖🌸🌸🌸💖
Antique Lace is one of my favorite quilt patterns. How fun to see it in a smaller size! I'd love to make one of these ... after I make the larger one. (I've already got the fabric and pattern, I just need to do it. 😉)
What a beautiful quilt Jenny, I’m still a relative newbie to quilting and if practice makes perfect, there is a lot of quarter inch seams to work on. Will definitely give this one a go, very inspiring and I love the way you work out the easy options to make it less complicated and how you explain why you do your way , thank you my lovely 😊
Wow, that's a lot of little squares! But I think this is a quilt that would be really relaxing to make as long as you keep yourself organized along the way. I'm already thinking of some variations in color - nice pattern.
I can’t seem to turn Jenny off. I’m addicted to watching “one more.” Then “one more!”

Yes to any monochromatic colour way, I am a purple 💜 girl
Oh Jenny Doan, you are a treasure!!! and when you said 32 little HSTs per block, I was shocked. But you are correct, it is a darling pattern, and I may try this quilt using HST triangle paper! THANK YOU
I love this quilt. I made y
an Antique Lace ,larger size. It cam out fantastic. I gave it to my mom for her 93rd birthday.
She loved it and I would love to make a wall hanging from this pattern. Thank you Jenny for your Antique Lace pattern. 😃❤️

Yes! Whenever I snowball a corner I sew the other little side! I could back a block every time I get 32!
This quilt would be an amazing TRIPLE PLAY!!
Always enjoy your tutorials. I've now made 54 quilts, thanks to your inspiration.
I really like the 2nd one better. I think this will be a great scrap buster!!!!!
I like the look of the second quilt plus you get a 2 for 1, terrific
The pair of quilts would make an adorable mother & daughter gift set. 💞💞
What a great birth gift for mother and baby.

Jenny, glad to see you looking so well these days! I’ve missed a few months of videos and must say wow…you look terrific. 👍😀
I love this pattern and in fact I made the original antique lace quilt. It turned out so very pretty. I found this quilt pattern to be very mind boggling and it took me alot of thought to put it together. But it was worth all of the the effort. Thanks Jenny!

I got to see this in person this morning. Really cute!
I’ve been wanting a mantra for pinwheels! Thanks Jenny!

Wow I now have a different take on those little squares. That quilt is so so cute thank you Jenny Doan

The 2nd quilt version really popped for me. Darling design. Thx for showing us how Jenny.
Very pretty Jenny, I especially like the one color blocks on your second quilt. My eyes are better able to see it clearly (I have old lady eye issues). I love all that you make Jenny, you are such a delight. ☺️ 🥰 Chris
Thank you for this tutorial.
Just beautiful...just can't decide which quilt to make!
Beautiful quilt! I am in awe of your talents Jenny! 🧵🪡✂️
I can see myself making so many mistakes with this block, quilt. But wow, once I figured it out I will have a fantastic quilt. Thank you for a very in-depth tutorial.
I love this! The original was one of my favorites and I adore lots of mini pieces in quilts. Please please please do more tiny pieces quilts!!!
Love this quilt!! So colorful!!
Love both these quilts! Thank you, Jenny!
The big one is on my to-do list. Now I guess I have another addition. BTW, Jenny, you are looking great (jealous)
My mom will love 💗 this pattern. Her favorite thing is small squares. I like cheaters that make it look like I cut bunches of small squares but didn’t 😂
The antique lace is my favorite of all the quilts ive seen you make, and ive watched every video. Thank you for showing both choices
Antique lace is my hands down fave tutorial you’ve done and I still haven’t made one lol
You and I both! I’m wondering if this tiny one is what will inspire me to finally make one!
I love the look of this, and I also liked the larger version. Saved this video so that I can refer to it in the future. Thanks!
This one is now on my bucket list. It's lovely!!
I love yu teaching me
Beautiful line by Robin Pickens! I love her patterns, too. I really love the second quilt with each color/pattern featured!

Hi Donna, how's your day going with you?

I made an antique lace quilt with a 30's playtime jelly roll...I made so many mistakes, but it's my favorite quilt I've made so far!
Hi Jean, how's your day going with you?
I love the Petite Antique Lace quilt. I made the large one and was pleased with it but the petite is gorgeous can't wait to make it.
I loved it, thanks!
I love this pattern. So beautiful.
So beautiful Jenny. Thank you for everything you do for us❣️
I used the cut off triangles from your Brightly quilt kit and made a 4 block wall hanging. The squares are 1 1/4" finished. Then finished it with ruler work, sashing and a border. I love it!
Hello and such a fun quilt block! I hope you have a wonderful week ahead! Thanks for posting your video and your time to make it.
Jenny, I would love to do this pattern in one color (probably blue). When you pulled out your second version that really gave me a good idea of how that would look.
My thoughts too, I have a solid blue layer cake that might be perfect
I was thinking a deep purple!
Hi Rosemary I did it in blue and it turned out cute..If I could I would've put a picture of it in here but I'm not able too, sorry.
@@pastorpribil yes, Deep purple, with black dackground, and just to add a hint of insanity 1inch squares!,
And a redwork, too!!
Gorgeous quilts! Tinies are scary to me but I ❤️ these so much I may just have to take a deep breath and go for it. Thank you for the tutorial.
My quilting buddies give me their trimmings from snowballed projects. I have had fun designing blocks both scrappy and color-grouped using those tiny triangles and cutting other odd scraps. I’m excited to try this block! Thank you❣️
Hi Pam, how's your day going with you?
Jenny, I love this tutorial. I really like the second one. I don't mind small pieces sometimes myself!

Such a pretty quilt. You make it look so easy.
I love this very much. It looks so delicate and feminine to me. I would love to see it less scrappy, maybe with a soft small floral pattern and white or cream. Or, a blue and cream combo. 💖💖💖

Love this pattern. Very pretty.

I really like this smaller version. Wonder what it would look like to combine the original and this one. Thanks again for another great tutorial.
Antique Lace is one of my favorite quilt patterns. How fun to see it in a smaller size! I'd love to make one of these ... after I make the larger one. (I've already got the fabric and pattern, I just need to do it. 😉)
Hi Jenny. I really enjoyed watching this tutorial. Thx
On my bucket list so cute
Beautiful, this is will be my next project. I love HST’s and have been looking for a new way to put them together. Thanks for showing both quilts.
Me too, I find them therapeutic. Flying geese as well.
