Something you could do that could play with things a bit is giving the partner Digimon from Digimon Tamers Armor Evolutions. Seeing as the Digimentals have their own cards, and cards played a significant role in Tamers, I'm surprised none of the Digimental cards officially were used in the series proper, but it just means more fun for the community. Having Digimon Adventure 02 (the second Digimon series) and Digimon Tamers (the third series of Digimon) sort of crossover this way also means you don't have to play the established rules regarding Digimentals, which means you can have 2 or more activated at the same time by sliding both cards through Digivice in quick succession. The real hard part would decide which Tamer would use which Digimental card to initiate a Tamers version of Armor evolution. Given Takato's personality and position as the resident goggle-head, Courage, Reliability, and Sincerity would be good fits for his collection and give Guilemon some really interesting perspective armor forms. Henry having the cards for Knoweldge and Love seem the most appropriate, given his personality and usual position on the team. Rika would, would, of course, have Friendship and Hope in her collection, seeing as those line up with her personality pretty amazingly. Henry's little sister Suzi would have the Digimental card for light, mostly because she thought it was pretty, and it would be because of some of those early Kari parallels some saw during the series run. The rest of the crew could have any mix of any of the other Digimental cards, and maybe the main trio even have some of the other Digimental cards as well, but I still think tying the Digimentals to their personalities means they would be more likely to have the cards for those Digimentals. And I think doing things this way allows us to keep riding some of that Adventure 02 hype while also approaching it in a different way, and by doing it this way, you can also play around with things from Tamers a bit more, which is always fun to see.
I wonder if, rather than a “Sea Angel”, Ukkomon could actually be based on an “Immortal Jellyfish” that reverts back to a baby when it dies, implying that perhaps Rui gained something akin to eternal youth or reverted back to his youth when he “killed” it. The title “the beginning” also gives me this sort of feeling.
With Rebirth, Growth and potential Being a big themes in Digimon it could be likely. Now speaking Meta terms, hopefully not the case but watch them explain the Adventure reboot as it being the timeline that actually leads to the 02 ending with the whole revert back thing
If the guy has a connection to the ocean and has a digimon based on the sea angel, I think it would be a no-brainer to tie him to the Dark Ocean. In the original Digimon adventure, the Digital World and the Human World had a time dissonance, where time moved faster in the Digital World. This was solved at the end of Digimon adventure and now both worlds have the same time. But, what if the Dark Ocean still has a time dissonance with the real world? If time moves slower in the Dark Ocean than in the real world, this new character could be a person from years prior to the first group of DigiDestined and still look like a young kid.
Could Rui maybe be the first digidestined but was somehow trapped in the Dark Ocean part of the digital world? Maybe that could explain his age and the fact that he seems reserved like he lived in the Digital World for years and now has just come back to the real world due to something that might have happens after Last Evolution. Also the whole Dark Ocean sort of fits with both Rui and his digimon's names meaning or connected to the ocean. Also another one I just thought of what if Rui appears younger due to Okkumon? who's name also means grandfather? Like with each stage of evolution maybe it progresses Rui further in age, thats why he had to kill Okkumon to stop himself from dying but now it's back for some reason?
One thing I've realised recently is that Homeostasis didn't think this whole Digidestined/Chosen Children system through. Giving multiple kids (I think by the time of Kizuna we're on the hundreds of thousands? Correct me if I'm wrong) Digimon partners who eventually become best friends with them, just to kill them off a few years later? It's a traumatic event for all of those kids and at least SOME of them are bound to snap. Homeostasis ends up with a handful of people with knowledge of Digimon and the Digital World, with the potential to go out for revenge and/or take extreme measures to get their Digimon back. Both Tri and Kizuna were triggered by people like that. I'm convinced Homeostasis is the real villain of the Adventure universe.
My take on the new character is that his aging was probably delayed by the different time flow between the real world and the digital world, something that has been shown to be very volatile in the Adventure/02 canon.

Since we see them in the epologue we know that they're coming back somehow. Tai is shown with Agumon at the UN and we see the other Digidestened with their Digimon and their kids.
Maybe Rui was in the same team as Daigo but got separated from the group, lived in the Digital World throughout out the events of Adventure, 02, Tri, and Kizuna, and only now returned to the Human World.
While Rui could have gotten his Digimon as a lil kid or time travelled, I do wonder if he was trapped in the Digital World (or some alternately dimension where time moves slower than the real world) as a way to both explain his age as well as how he never came up before.
You know, hearing Kari becoming a teacher is really weird. By the time Tamers came around, I completely forgot about what most of the kids in Adventure and 02 did in the epilogue, then when I heard Takato's female teacher speak for the first time, I was like. Oh cool, Kari became a teacher! Because whats her name looked like Kari and had that same recognizable voice and I was half expecting her to reveal some critical knowledge to the gang. Man, my kid brain was weird.
I remember thinking this exact same thing as a kid, I forget the details now but I had a theory early on in tamers about the whole it's set in a world where the first two seasons are just that a TV show was probably going to turn out to be a set up for a major villain and later in the season the older characters would team up with takato and co.
Digimon Adventure 02 is my favorite season. I hope this movie will be awesome. Last Evolution: Kizuna was a good swan song for Tai/Agumon and Matt/Gabumon. I, also, hope they don't have more bond evolutions. Maybe we'll get to see Gatomon and Patamon digivolve to Ophanimon and Seraphimon, and the other 4 combos collectively say "When did that happen?!".

I hope we get to see Silphymon and Shakkoumon digivolve into their mega forms at least once. I also hope we get to see Imperialdramon. He's my favorite Digimon.
We'll definitely see Imperialdramon for one reason or another, since he's basically the 02 kids' equivalent of Omnimon. Although, I kind of hope we get to see the 02 partners get solo ultimate and mega forms of their own. It always kind of bugged me that besides Kari and TK, none of the other 02 kids were able to go past champion level without DNA evolution.
Maybe the same thing that happened to Ryo in Tamers happened to Rui; in where he could have went to the Digital world and got stuck somehow. That would explain his appearance even though he claims to be the first Digidestined ever. It could also be the catalyst to bring back the 01 Digimon because at the end of Kizuna Tai and Matt did promise that they would see their partners again.
If they give Megas to Exveemon and Stingmon, I really hope they aren’t UlforceVeedramon and BanchoStingmon. That would be kinda lame. Give us something new

We know that he's got that kuwagamon mega and bancho stingmon but like all the other season 2 children introduced in this season they've gotten nothing outside outside of their two armors and their champion. I would love to see a big team up with all the Digimon seasons coming together eventually. I think Takato would by hyped to see Tai and Davis again along with the other 01 and 02 Digidestened, I sadly don't know much about frontier, less about Data Squad, and nothing about fusion. Maybe something where the digital worlds of their universes merge, or there was only one digital world but they were just in different parts of it somehow never meeting one another. We do know Ryo has connections with Ken and Wormmon so that would be interesting for the Tamers to discover that he's from the Digidestened's earth not theirs. Maybe we could even get the Survive kids in there, although with such a large cast it would be difficult to give everyone screen time.
Ive got good news for you fam. They already did your big team up. Watch digimon xros wars and then watch its follow up series xros wars young hunters with tagiru and gumdramon. Its probably the biggest most hype moment in the digimon series planted at the end of one of the least loved seasons. From what you said, it sounds like you are a dub only for digimon at least, but if you can do subs I'd recommend the subbed versions for both xros wars. Xros wars has a really really bad dub. The voice acting is abysmal, the trademark dub humor is absent and the censorship and wierd localization decisions are uncomfortably close to 4kids. Not nearly as bad as 4kids but closer to it than any digimon dub has ever gotten for sure. Xros wars is really good too imo. I personally blame the bad dub for 70% of the hate it gets with the other 30% being the megazord fusions. I liked digixros/fusion though. Its a fun gimmick imo. Its like some mad lad toei employee with zero chill saw dna digivolution then took the idea and went absolutely buck wild with the concept.
Maybe he IS the first Digi-Destined, but he is that young because he did stay in the Digital World, so let's say he was from like the 70s but he stayed there and basically didn't age until Adventure after Diaboromon was defeated, so if this movie happens what, 13~15-ish years after that maybe he was like 10 when he went to the Digiworld, he'd be in his early to mid twenties after aging normally?
"From Ukkonkoukurage (鬱金香水母), meaning tulip jellyfish." From Wikimon. It'd be interesting if they tied the other meanings of that name into it's evolutions. Rise from the see and become a king of storms.
While I know Armor and Jogress were fan-favourite elements of 02, my big hope for the movie is that Exveemon, Stingmon, Aquilamon, & Ankylomon get their own new and proper Ultimate and Mega forms, especially the last two. Their evolution lines as partners have felt so incomplete for years. And while Stingmon has gotten some options here and there, like BanchoStingmon, the rest have nothing (except Hawkmon sharing Biyomon's Ultimate & Mega). So I beg for this movie's climax to be the 02 Gang to getting their own Megas so fight alongside Ophanimon & Seraphimon. (I know some people say the Jogress forms are supposed to be their Ultimates, but even if that's "canon" their designs really don't jive with that. It's like saying Omnimon is just an evolution of WarGreymon; yes that is a thing a WarGreymon can do without MetalGarurumon, but his head will still be on Omnimon's right arm. The Jogress forms take too many elements for their other components for it not to be clear someone came up with that idea after the fact, and really do not work as individual Ultimates for the 02 gang. Shakkoumon especially, who leans so heavily into Angemon he feels more like an alternate Angemon Ultimate than Ankylomon's evolution.)
@@pn2294 Well, that's not wrong; but if it could be said to lean towards either, it'd be Angemon's holy motifs over anything with Ankylomon. Like, the best argument you could make is that it being based of a sculpture means its hard surface is kind of like an armadillo's shell; and that is one weak argument.
Am I the only one who finds it amusing that Hikari is training to be a teacher considering everyone thought the homeroom teacher in Tamers WAS Hikari because of the same voice actor lol.
Same and even though it was sad that Ty, Matt and Sora lost Agumon, Gabumon and Biyomon it made sense those three always had the more mature push cause far as we know the rest still have Their Digimon but they may lose them or talk about losing them in the 02 movie and I also feel like it wouldn't make sense to throw away the 02 Epilogue for 02 just woke h how many people would be more hart broken about it
Whichever way the movie goes I'm just happy to have another excude to re-watch 02. Loved it as a kid but I haven't touched it since them and don't quite remember a lot of it (unlike adventure, wich I had more firmly in my memory and more fresh from some other media's like the psp game) so my body is ready for good binge once I have some free time to chill and enjoy!
I love 02, it’s my favorite series in terms of personal connection. So… Rui and his Digimon have a lot of “ocean” theming goong on, eh? …So like, The Dark Ocean world maybe? Maybe Ukkomon is a Baby Stage for Dagomon. Maybe this boy and Dagomon rules over the Dark Ocean world for a period but after the whole, “Scubamon, get me a human female to impregnate!” sitch went down, Rui killed Dagomon to prevent anyone else from being sucked into that madness. Oh, and perhaps time flows differently in The Dark Ocean world. As for new forms, Megas for Silphymon and Shakkoumon? And a new Mode for Imperialdramon. Or perhaps a crazy fusion of all 3 Jogress Digimon? Or MAYBE Imperialdramon and the Jogress mons use the Digimental of Miracles to Armor Evolve into the strongest Jogressed Armor Digimon ever.
the copium wish i have is each partner digimon getting a new ultimate/mega. which i been wanting since the actual show. simply cause the champions are awesome. also armor could come back. would be nice maybe with a new gimmick on the armor aspect

I don't know if you noticed, but Rui's digivice is different, and it doesn't look like it was turned into stone, the cracks in taichi and yamato's digivice appeared because the bond forms, sora's digivice only turned into stone, no cracks in that one. Rui digivice looks like it's made of metal, it even looks like it has screws, like a beta version of the adventure digivice. Also the digimojis are different, it has half of the characters the classic digivice has.
Yeah it's definitely different, I guess I just meant a model more similar to the OG Digivices AKA not the D-3. Kinda ties into my theory I wanna talk about in future a bit more
If this movie makes references to the first 02 movie, it wouldn't be surprising that Magnamon and Willis came back. And it would be hilarious that Time after Time activate again and Magnamon and GoldRapidmon jogress at the end
My guess is that Rui was stranded in a part of the digital world. It's kinda inverse to how time has worked between the different dimensions before, but that could be explained by him being in a different layer

I feel he was stuck in the dark ocean and his anger transformed his partner into dragomon. So he feels that he killed him in that regard. Maybe dragomon attempted to bring kari to meet the new character but released a portal for him to escape.
A 02 focused video, sponsored by Bee and Puppycat?! What an unexpected treat! I'm looking forward to the movie. 02 is my favorite season and it's great to see the gang back. Cool to see their on the path of how they ended up in the epilogue, though I feel it's a bit bland that it's all through school. I would've liked it if some of them went a different route (like say, TK's writing/story-telling is more a side thing or hobby, but that's what eventually blows up for him). Also, seeing the words "law firm" made me immediately think of Ace Attorney, and now I just imagine Iori/Cody working under Phoenix Wright. That's a crossover I'd like to see.
I recall jogress not being possible anymore with Tailmon getting her holy ring back, as it was used as the basis for jogress. The eyes of Ukkamon kinda remind me of Keramon. It looks unsetteling. But since you brought up potential time shenanigans: Milleniummon is technicaly part of Adventure canon. All life originated from the oceans, and ZeedMilleniumon looks lovecraftian, who's horror is largely derived from the ocean. So there is at least some vage connection. Maybe Mileniumon got sick of running after Ryo and traveled back to find themselves some other human and took them along for a ride. Unlikely, but quite fun to think about.
Will we see new armors? Or maybe the 02 ultimates will finally get megas? Or some new jogress between the 02 cast? Who knows, but I'm still in hype to see what will happen :D
I love Last Kizuna, but the ending was so heart broken that I really want this movie to correct it and bring the happy ending were Digimons and humans live together as 02 showed
So about the original kids, we didn't get Himekawa and Nishijima's age, but if we presume they were about 22-23 years old in 2005, and were chosen when they were about 10-11 yo, that means their adventure was in 1994 in the latest, and 1992 at the earliest (which makes sense 'cause the first movie's events were in 1995). If Rui was chosen in 1993-1991 when he was 5-6 years old, that means that in 2012 he would be around 24-27 years old.. - But I also like the de-aging theory :)
I think it could be fun to see alternate DNA Digivolutions for all the pairings. Dinobeemon is an official alternate Jogress for ExVeemon and Stingmon that is described as being considerably aggressive; while we haven't seen any official alternate Jogresses for the other DNA Digivolution pairings, there are probably quite a few fans works for that, over on Digimon Explained's channel (formerly Nostalgia 925) he did a video on alternate Jogress of Ankylymon and Angemon where Ankylamon is the dominant in the Jogress state (Shikuamon is what happens when Angemon is dominant, for some weird reason) called Relicmon. I'll post a link to that video below, but I want to sort of finish my train of thought. It would be interesting to see what a Jogress of Arquilamon and Gatomon that happens when it's Arquilamon that the dominant force in the Jogress, Sylphimon happens when Gatomon's data is dominant in the fusion. It would also be nice to see all the 02 gang get those full evolution lines, not just TK and Kari, as holdovers from their time in the original Adventure series. Would be cool if they get stuck back to needing armor evolution like in the beginning of 02. Highly doubt it, but that and jogress were the main "gimmicks" of the season so a keeping focus on one or the other (or both please) would be thematically fitting.
I would love to se that the theory of Karn Ex about the Demon Lords become a reality, just imagine the chance that our heroes had lost their way and had been control by evil is to epic
So if I remember right, didn't Jenai create the digivices, but because of how time works differently in the two wolrds, he was much younger in the human vs digital, which could be case with Rui. And while I don't know about Finnish folklore, Cthulu is sometimes a lord of storms and sky/Space as well as the ocean, and Dagomon being based on a Lovecraft monster and what we see in the dark net, maybe we could have that finally solved with Okkumon being corrupted to become Dagomon than maybe also a cthulu like mon too. I am hoping for new evolutions, with possibly seeing Ken getting a metal egg, and than those perfect becoming ultimates, and maybe if lucky the others gets ultimates too
Maybe the first digidestined was in the digital world which would be why he didn’t age until the time in the digiworld and real world synchronized. It would explain the age problem
I must admit, after seeing more of Rui I thought at first he‘s Ken’s brother who somehow managed to survive, maybe because there was a backup file of him or something 🙈

You know, hearing Kari becoming a teacher is really weird. By the time Tamers came around, I completely forgot about what most of the kids in Adventure and 02 did in the epilogue, then when I heard Takato's female teacher speak for the first time, I was like. Oh cool, Kari became a teacher! Because whats her name looked like Kari and had that same recognizable voice and I was half expecting her to reveal some critical knowledge to the gang. Man, my kid brain was weird.
I remember thinking this exact same thing as a kid, I forget the details now but I had a theory early on in tamers about the whole it's set in a world where the first two seasons are just that a TV show was probably going to turn out to be a set up for a major villain and later in the season the older characters would team up with takato and co.

Digimon Adventure 02 is my favorite season. I hope this movie will be awesome. Last Evolution: Kizuna was a good swan song for Tai/Agumon and Matt/Gabumon. I, also, hope they don't have more bond evolutions. Maybe we'll get to see Gatomon and Patamon digivolve to Ophanimon and Seraphimon, and the other 4 combos collectively say "When did that happen?!".

I hope we get to see Silphymon and Shakkoumon digivolve into their mega forms at least once. I also hope we get to see Imperialdramon. He's my favorite Digimon.
We'll definitely see Imperialdramon for one reason or another, since he's basically the 02 kids' equivalent of Omnimon. Although, I kind of hope we get to see the 02 partners get solo ultimate and mega forms of their own. It always kind of bugged me that besides Kari and TK, none of the other 02 kids were able to go past champion level without DNA evolution.
Maybe the same thing that happened to Ryo in Tamers happened to Rui; in where he could have went to the Digital world and got stuck somehow. That would explain his appearance even though he claims to be the first Digidestined ever. It could also be the catalyst to bring back the 01 Digimon because at the end of Kizuna Tai and Matt did promise that they would see their partners again.

I would love to see a big team up with all the Digimon seasons coming together eventually. I think Takato would by hyped to see Tai and Davis again along with the other 01 and 02 Digidestened, I sadly don't know much about frontier, less about Data Squad, and nothing about fusion. Maybe something where the digital worlds of their universes merge, or there was only one digital world but they were just in different parts of it somehow never meeting one another. We do know Ryo has connections with Ken and Wormmon so that would be interesting for the Tamers to discover that he's from the Digidestened's earth not theirs. Maybe we could even get the Survive kids in there, although with such a large cast it would be difficult to give everyone screen time.
Ive got good news for you fam. They already did your big team up. Watch digimon xros wars and then watch its follow up series xros wars young hunters with tagiru and gumdramon. Its probably the biggest most hype moment in the digimon series planted at the end of one of the least loved seasons. From what you said, it sounds like you are a dub only for digimon at least, but if you can do subs I'd recommend the subbed versions for both xros wars. Xros wars has a really really bad dub. The voice acting is abysmal, the trademark dub humor is absent and the censorship and wierd localization decisions are uncomfortably close to 4kids. Not nearly as bad as 4kids but closer to it than any digimon dub has ever gotten for sure.
Xros wars is really good too imo. I personally blame the bad dub for 70% of the hate it gets with the other 30% being the megazord fusions. I liked digixros/fusion though. Its a fun gimmick imo. Its like some mad lad toei employee with zero chill saw dna digivolution then took the idea and went absolutely buck wild with the concept.
Maybe he IS the first Digi-Destined, but he is that young because he did stay in the Digital World, so let's say he was from like the 70s but he stayed there and basically didn't age until Adventure after Diaboromon was defeated, so if this movie happens what, 13~15-ish years after that maybe he was like 10 when he went to the Digiworld, he'd be in his early to mid twenties after aging normally?

While I know Armor and Jogress were fan-favourite elements of 02, my big hope for the movie is that Exveemon, Stingmon, Aquilamon, & Ankylomon get their own new and proper Ultimate and Mega forms, especially the last two. Their evolution lines as partners have felt so incomplete for years. And while Stingmon has gotten some options here and there, like BanchoStingmon, the rest have nothing (except Hawkmon sharing Biyomon's Ultimate & Mega). So I beg for this movie's climax to be the 02 Gang to getting their own Megas so fight alongside Ophanimon & Seraphimon.
(I know some people say the Jogress forms are supposed to be their Ultimates, but even if that's "canon" their designs really don't jive with that. It's like saying Omnimon is just an evolution of WarGreymon; yes that is a thing a WarGreymon can do without MetalGarurumon, but his head will still be on Omnimon's right arm. The Jogress forms take too many elements for their other components for it not to be clear someone came up with that idea after the fact, and really do not work as individual Ultimates for the 02 gang. Shakkoumon especially, who leans so heavily into Angemon he feels more like an alternate Angemon Ultimate than Ankylomon's evolution.)

Like, the best argument you could make is that it being based of a sculpture means its hard surface is kind of like an armadillo's shell; and that is one weak argument.

Whichever way the movie goes I'm just happy to have another excude to re-watch 02. Loved it as a kid but I haven't touched it since them and don't quite remember a lot of it (unlike adventure, wich I had more firmly in my memory and more fresh from some other media's like the psp game) so my body is ready for good binge once I have some free time to chill and enjoy!

So… Rui and his Digimon have a lot of “ocean” theming goong on, eh? …So like, The Dark Ocean world maybe? Maybe Ukkomon is a Baby Stage for Dagomon. Maybe this boy and Dagomon rules over the Dark Ocean world for a period but after the whole, “Scubamon, get me a human female to impregnate!” sitch went down, Rui killed Dagomon to prevent anyone else from being sucked into that madness. Oh, and perhaps time flows differently in The Dark Ocean world.
As for new forms, Megas for Silphymon and Shakkoumon? And a new Mode for Imperialdramon. Or perhaps a crazy fusion of all 3 Jogress Digimon? Or MAYBE Imperialdramon and the Jogress mons use the Digimental of Miracles to Armor Evolve into the strongest Jogressed Armor Digimon ever.
the copium wish i have is each partner digimon getting a new ultimate/mega. which i been wanting since the actual show. simply cause the champions are awesome. also armor could come back. would be nice maybe with a new gimmick on the armor aspect

I don't know if you noticed, but Rui's digivice is different, and it doesn't look like it was turned into stone, the cracks in taichi and yamato's digivice appeared because the bond forms, sora's digivice only turned into stone, no cracks in that one.
Rui digivice looks like it's made of metal, it even looks like it has screws, like a beta version of the adventure digivice. Also the digimojis are different, it has half of the characters the classic digivice has.
Yeah it's definitely different, I guess I just meant a model more similar to the OG Digivices AKA not the D-3.

I feel he was stuck in the dark ocean and his anger transformed his partner into dragomon. So he feels that he killed him in that regard. Maybe dragomon attempted to bring kari to meet the new character but released a portal for him to escape.

I'm looking forward to the movie. 02 is my favorite season and it's great to see the gang back. Cool to see their on the path of how they ended up in the epilogue, though I feel it's a bit bland that it's all through school. I would've liked it if some of them went a different route (like say, TK's writing/story-telling is more a side thing or hobby, but that's what eventually blows up for him).
Also, seeing the words "law firm" made me immediately think of Ace Attorney, and now I just imagine Iori/Cody working under Phoenix Wright. That's a crossover I'd like to see.

But since you brought up potential time shenanigans: Milleniummon is technicaly part of Adventure canon. All life originated from the oceans, and ZeedMilleniumon looks lovecraftian, who's horror is largely derived from the ocean. So there is at least some vage connection.
Maybe Mileniumon got sick of running after Ryo and traveled back to find themselves some other human and took them along for a ride.

So about the original kids, we didn't get Himekawa and Nishijima's age, but if we presume they were about 22-23 years old in 2005, and were chosen when they were about 10-11 yo, that means their adventure was in 1994 in the latest, and 1992 at the earliest (which makes sense 'cause the first movie's events were in 1995). If Rui was chosen in 1993-1991 when he was 5-6 years old, that means that in 2012 he would be around 24-27 years old.. - But I also like the de-aging theory :)

I think it could be fun to see alternate DNA Digivolutions for all the pairings. Dinobeemon is an official alternate Jogress for ExVeemon and Stingmon that is described as being considerably aggressive; while we haven't seen any official alternate Jogresses for the other DNA Digivolution pairings, there are probably quite a few fans works for that, over on Digimon Explained's channel (formerly Nostalgia 925) he did a video on alternate Jogress of Ankylymon and Angemon where Ankylamon is the dominant in the Jogress state (Shikuamon is what happens when Angemon is dominant, for some weird reason) called Relicmon. I'll post a link to that video below, but I want to sort of finish my train of thought. It would be interesting to see what a Jogress of Arquilamon and Gatomon that happens when it's Arquilamon that the dominant force in the Jogress, Sylphimon happens when Gatomon's data is dominant in the fusion. It would also be nice to see all the 02 gang get those full evolution lines, not just TK and Kari, as holdovers from their time in the original Adventure series.

Would be cool if they get stuck back to needing armor evolution like in the beginning of 02. Highly doubt it, but that and jogress were the main "gimmicks" of the season so a keeping focus on one or the other (or both please) would be thematically fitting.

create the digivices, but because of how time works differently in the two wolrds, he was much younger in the human vs digital, which could be case with Rui. And while I don't know about Finnish folklore, Cthulu is sometimes a lord of storms and sky/Space as well as the ocean, and Dagomon being based on a Lovecraft monster and what we see in the dark net, maybe we could have that finally solved with Okkumon being corrupted to become Dagomon than maybe also a cthulu like mon too. I am hoping for new evolutions, with possibly seeing Ken getting a metal egg, and than those perfect becoming ultimates, and maybe if lucky the others gets ultimates too
