Good morning. This is the second time I’ve started my day with you, and I really appreciate and enjoy your approach. As someone who has done countless guided meditations on TH-cam, I can assure you the content that you are creating is worthwhile, meaningful and impactful. It’s also inspiring, calming and well done. I sincerely hope you continue to create more meditations, because it is quite clearly heartfelt and will surely lead to a bigger following, and a happier, better world. Of this I am certain. You did not miss your calling. 🙂With much appreciation and respect, Andrew.

This meditation really helped me connect with myself and embrace self-love. Taking just 15 minutes out of my day to focus on fostering self-compassion made a world of difference. I love how the guided meditation gently reminded me to be kind to myself and nurture my inner peace. Highly recommend it to anyone needing a little self-care boost!

-I have SDAM (severely deficient autobiographical memory) and aphantasia, which means I can't recall past events easily and don't really have many memories of my life up to this point, any memories I have are like facts i know, similar to how everyone knows about the second world war and that it happend but it's just something they know it isn't personal, that's how I relate to all my life and I also have no visual aspect to my mind, no minds eye so can never visualise anything ever, it's always just black. I also don't have emotions attached to what memories I do have and don't have the ability to create emotions by conscious thought and choice, everything has to happen spontaneously and if I try to focus on it when It does happen it the emotions disappear again.
If I try to feel an emotion what happens is my mind intellectually tries to think the emotion into my experience which obviously doesn't work.
I have Autism and Complex PTSD so it's hard to say what traits are caused by what 'disorder' if you want to call them that and what is just me and how I am. I don't have a sense of self and I don't even understand what people mean when they say it, I cannot put myself in someone else's shoes at all and i really struggle to work out and understand why people do the things they do or react the way they do to things, I can't empathize unless it makes logical sense to me or their reaction and attached emotions evoke that feeling naturally.
Anyway I'm writing all this because I really struggle to find meditations that I can connect with but the beginning of this was really good until it asked me to recall a past event, I was wondering if it would be possible to create a meditation which starts in a similar way (I hugged myself and alternately stroked each of my arms) where you could maybe just ask compassionate self enquiry questions, prompts and statements that are all present moment based ?
I imagine it to be like my conscious mind is the gate keeper/bouncer guarding my subconscious emotional mind and memories etc, he is very good at his job but just needs convincing or guiding in a loving compassionate way via the present moment to allow me in.
I can't let anyone else in because I can't even get in myself.
    Thanks
