Elise you look amazing in everything you bought. As a 70 year old from the US I just want to tell how much I enjoy your videos. You are so talented and have such a wonderful sense of style. The beautiful floral and colorful clothes from the 70s bring back many happy memories . Thank you for allowing us to share your experiences and adventures.
That sounds like a dream vacation!! To go to a city and just wander, visiting thrift and second hand shops, flea markets, little galleries. Heaven!!! I think I might have even thrifted a suitcase and just traveled with a carryon to start. Lovely video! Thanks for taking us along on your adventure!
Well done Elise, your sense of Fashion and ability to style pieces together is INCREDIBLE!! And so inspiring! I Love watching you shop for vintage and find myself smiling at your choices or encouraging you out loud when you pull it all together. 😊 I'm really happy that you had such a great time in Hamburg! Love from Sydney ❤🐨
Wow, how nice to take us along to Germany! I live in the US and it's such long flights to get to any part of Europe. The city looked so charming!! Your vintage haul was awesome. You know how to put it all together. Best of all, you and your beau had some quality time together. It was a WIN WIN🙂
Love the video 📹 I love the idea traveling with a empty suitcase. Wish become like a series. Every time you see that outfit, it will remind you of the country you travel to. Thank you so much for the video
What a beautiful city Hamburg is, loved seeing all the great architecture, thank you 😊Loved all the beautiful pieces you were able find while there. They all looked gorgeous on you!
I LOVED so many of these pieces!! The green capelet, the blue cotton blouse with puff sleeves, the gorgeous brown satin blouse, and the stunning velvet skirt that went with it, the tapestry jacket, the white broderie peasant blouse - all incredible! Well done on such beautiful finds. Very clever premise for a video, and loved seeing the sights and museum in Hamburg too ✨🌟🌙🌟✨
Loved the views of Hamburg, for those of us who haven’t been it was treat! Liked seeing sneak peaks of your boyfriend, he looks handsome and cool. Loved loved the sheep cardigan!
What a wonderful way to spend a few days away. All of your new outfits were absolutely gorgeous but you always look stunning. Hope you have a great week. Love watching your videos. You are a beautiful soul. xx
Whenever my ex-husband goes back to Ireland where he is from he puts one suitcase inside another so he ends up filling the extra one with chocolate and crisps and tea and brings back two full suitcases.
That velvet floral skirt and the puff sleeve cardigan are amazing, think you should have given the shop that wasn't as neat a chance there could have been loads of gems.Love a good rummage!
The top with the satin back is beautiful and you could replace the back with either a thick plain colour fabric or another pattern fabric. You could unpick the back and use the satin fabric as a template and cut out a replacement fabric.
What a wonderful and interesting way to travel. I love everything you bought but especially that crocheted cape! Those colours look amazing on you - can’t wait to see you wearing it.
I love the outfit with the Navy Blouse and floral skirt, beret and cardigan. I was hoping you bought the other skirt with all the colors, it looks amazing with the navy blouse. The view is beautiful. I love the hotel room, the flower Muriel is exquisite. What a beautiful day and beautiful scenery. Thank you for sharing. I love the sheep cardigan.
Me, worrying about finding good thrift store when I move to Germany in a few months, then you got to Germany and show me the Pick & Weight! Oh my goodness! It's so lovely and a crafty persons dream. I love all of the pieces you were able to find. And you bet I googled how long it would take to get from where I'm moving to there, six hours is a drop in the bucket! I'm even more excited now! :)
I loved this video so much. Every clip was so colorful and beautiful. Your photography is so artistic. I loved that navy blouse and that last colorful navy, gold, red skirt you paired it with, my favorite on you. Love ya ❤️
I loved this video. Only you could find such cute outfits to wear each day. I loved Thursday’s outfit. Also loved seeing the sights of Hamburg. So good to see you enjoying yourself! Thank you
You've come up with a brilliant idea to combine work and play. A regular feature on your channel I hope. A new trip, a new city, once each season would be fun. Perhaps there are methods of sponsorship to offset the cost.
What a great trip a vibrant arty place love that!!!. Awesome idea to take an empty suitcase and buy what you find while your away for surprise outfits. Very spontaneous, takes the wondering what am I going to wear out of the equation before going. Loved the video glad you had a good time with your guy, traveling is always nicer with someone special.
Enjoyed this vlog, of your trip to Hamburg. You found some beautiful vintage pieces, you know yiur style. The crochet Cape is cool, I do abit of crochet myself so good to see it having a revival.
I can’t fully express how much I enjoy watching your lovely video and seeing your beautiful face and stunning sense of style! Even though I know I’m blessed to have been born and raised in American (despite its mess of a government these days), I would love to have the opportunity to jump in my car or onto a train, travel a few hours, and visit a completely different country! For as long as I can remember, I’ve dreamt of traveling around Europe, and I was able to spend a week in London back in 2000. And my sweet husband just surprised me with a 5 day boat cruise originating in Paris in Nov. 2023! So, my dreams is coming true, but thanks to your channel, I’ve been able to see the beautiful sites in your wonderful country as well as the sites you visit when you travel! Seeing those gorgeous centuries old buildings still in use is not something Americans get to see! You are a treasure! 🇺🇸❤️🇩🇰
First day shopping was wonderful, so many things to look at. 1. LOVE the blouse and skirt that you picked. LOVE it. The coat and purse were adorable. 2. What is not to like about this outfit. Loved the cardigan and the tam was the cherry on the top. You were the envy of all who saw you this day. 3. The last day outfit was so cool. When you tried on the skirt and blouse in the shop I thought it best suit this skirt. Glad you purchased it. The clothes you didn't get to wear but bought are all beautiful. Good eye. Thank you for sharing.
I love the concept and it was such a joy to watch this! I live in Berlin and we have so many wonderful spots to find vintage items, but of course the best places for high-quality vintage in your particular aesthetic are probably small German towns where the items have been lovingly cared for. I also get sad when I find so many damaged items in shops 😞 My favorite items you found are the three versatile blouses and that autumnal skirt! Great job putting this together and I hope you had fun ☺️
I moved to HH right after college and lived there for about 2 years and then I moved back to US. I can honestly say that I fell in love with this city a long time ago, it is one of the many beautiful places in Germany. I had the best memories and Sternschanze was my favorite spot to go shopping, and grab a cappuccino or a choko croissant right after taking my German courses. I'm so happy to see this city again. I hope you had the best of times 🥰❤
Thank you! You have brought back memories! I have lived in this city most of my life. I once loved it. The harbor, the North Sea not so far away and the Baltic Sea. I also visited Denmark and its beautiful islands a few times. Now I live very rural and on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean in Portugal.
Thank you for taking us along to Germany! It was so fun to watch the scenery and go along with you as you shopped. You did great with your beautiful purchases. Always watching in Arizona.
What a great idea for a video Elise, I absolutely loved it! You found some beautiful clothes, I would love to visit pick and weight one day. I know what you mean about the 90’s street wear thing, so many vintage shops in Australia are like that, it’s just not my thing. ❤️🌻
You found some beautiful things - that vintage store was amazing! I'm planning to move to the UK at some point, and I planned to do exactly this - leave with an empty suitcase and buy a whole new wardrobe when I get there. Australia is useless for fashion (especially when you're plus size) so I figure new country, new life, new clothes!
You make we want to go to vintage shops here in eastern Pennsylvania. Been a long time since I have done this. Sounds like you had a really nice time. Great that your boyfriend likes to do these things as well.
Beautiful choices. Loved the adventure. Have you ever worn a scarf as a blouse under a jacket? Hold scarf in middle then tie a small knot. Tie top two ends around your neck but allow it to be loose like a cowl neck then tie bottom two ends fitted around your waist. we used to do that in the 80's. We had to wear suits and they were hot in Texas.
I don't travel with an empty suitcase. I'm trying to figure out a 'uniform' so I don't have to go shopping. I don't like shopping, and I don't like stores. I understand it's your career, so we're different there, and you have good taste. I do like your colors. I've gained a little weight, so have to take that off to get back to my preferred look. Enjoy your vacation, and your shopping trips. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.
Was that your boyfriend in the pumpkin color coat entering the shop??🤓 Beautiful items! I especially love the cardigans. The one with the sheep herder is so darn cute!!🥰🐑🌲🌳🐑 What a daring adventure!!😃
Elise! I enjoyed this video and thank you for taking us on the trip to Hamburg. I know that I will never get to go there (I live in Texas) sooo far way from there. The pink sweater was so pretty! I love that your boyfriend enjoys thrifting with you. My husband is not a fan of thrift stores and I myself can't stay away from them. :)
Loved this video the most out of all of your videos! I’ve always thought about taking a trip that way and really want to now. At first I thought you were really disciplined just buying one outfit per day until you showed more at the end but still more disciplined and selective than I would have been.😂💕
Wow that first outfit was awesome I love that brown on you and the skirt wow nice find it was made for you 😊thanks for taking us with you loves ya xxx😍🥰✌❤
The scarf you got in Hamburg would make a great piece of art for you garden home. Stretch it onto a frame or just tack to the wall, or over a plain cloth on a table.
I was not crazy about the pink print skirt--until you paired it with the floral cardigan. Perfect! You really have an amazing eye for combining patterns.
OBSESSED!!! I now must put Hamburg on the bucket list! I love museums too. It is exactly what I'd want to do. Go thrifting, drink lots of coffee & visit museums 😸 the graffiti outside is amazing too💛
Wow! thanks for taking us to Hamburg it was gorgeous, the colours of the trees were incredible. The clothes you chose were gorgeous, great vlog again angel, can't wait for the next one, much love xxx
I loved the Pick and Weight! My all time favorite junque store is called the Dig and Save. You actually buy by the weight of your cart! Was there a couple cameos of your boyfriend?😉
That was fun going on a trip with you. I personally don't mind if you show us some of the city sights too as well as the clothes etc. it's nice to get a sense of what the city is like.
You found some beautiful pieces!! Loved the thrift, however, I really Loved seeing the attractions, art, etc. Since I don't travel it's a Big Treat to see other cultures, art, & architecture!! ✌❤🇺🇲
Oh my goodness I think this is one of my favorites!!!!!!! I felt like I was there with you guys !!! Absolutely fantastic idea to do that with the empty suitcase lol what a fun idea! Love everything you put out❤️🥰😊 I have to admit it’s killing ne a little not being able to see you new bow!!! I totally understand why you are not filming him lol❤️🥰😊 sounds like you guys are a really really good match 😃 . Raining Day here in Kentucky!!!
I'm really late, but this video was such a pleasure to watch! Thanks for showing us around the vintage shops you didn't end up buying from, I definitely need to check out Episode next time I visit my grandpa in Hamburg!
The flowered velvet skirt is absolutely beautiful!!! Does your boyfriend also wear vintage clothing? You are lucky to find a man that likes to shop! Loved seeing the art, buildings, etc. of the city. It seemed like a very neat city. The whole video, I thought you were saying Pink and White as the name of the boutique. Then I saw the real name in writing at the end. lol! So is it possible that you showed your boyfriend in the video? I looked at all the men you showed from a distance and thought how funny if you filmed him and didn't tell us. A wonderful video!!!!!!!!!!
The pretty floral dress wih he frill at the bottom! You wear it exactly right with the white blouse underneath and laced boots. This style belongs to the era of an Australian children's book called 'Seven Little Australians ' set in the 1880''s. A tv series was made of it also.
That first shop reminded me of "Buffalo Exchange" here in Phoenix Arizona! Thats so weird that there were so many holes & damage to the dresses😒 i hope others figured out the danage to the pieces too!
Elise you look amazing in everything you bought. As a 70 year old from the US I just want to tell how much I enjoy your videos. You are so talented and have such a wonderful sense of style. Agree with you being from that time too… I love all the prints, flowers, and genuine way she lives… so creative…
This is such a kind and warm comment ❤

I can't find any stores like those in the states. I would be in heaven. Love your pieces you chose. Just love your hair.
The sheep sweater is gorgeous. Your language skills are enviable!
Well done Elise, your sense of Fashion and ability to style pieces together is INCREDIBLE!! And so inspiring! Whenever my ex-husband goes back to Ireland where he is from he puts one suitcase inside another so he ends up filling the extra one with chocolate and crisps and tea and brings back two full suitcases.
My ex mother in law did the same and I so will be doing it if I travel again.
Sounds like an awesome suitcase 😁😋!!
Sounds so cute 😍
I would do the same thing, with one full of wool material to sew with ❤
Yup...that's typically how I like to travel.

I keep forgetting how young you are. You are so mature and sophisticated beyond your years, Elise.
What a fun trip! Just caught a brief glimpse, but your trains & station look so clean and modern! You have all of Europe at your doorstep.
