I like the fact that you love all the vintage and pretty dishes etc. It's refreshing to know that young people like you appreciate these items so pretty. Love from Scotland xx
I need to come to Denmark to thrift shop-I’m always terribly disappointed in the thrift stores in my area of Arizona, USA. I saw hundreds of things I would’ve wanted during your shopping, especially in all the artwork high up on the wall in the one store. The one glass container you mentioned not knowing what to use it for-I envisioned little silver spoons for your coffee or tea. I love to see old silver displayed in vintage glassware.
The idea of the new painted cabinet hanging in the middle of floating shelves in the kitchen is terrific. In English it's called a "pepper mill". Yours is beautiful! For the dish you wanted suggestions for, stand up your cutlery in it (much like the makeup brushes for your other one) to set on your table for the garden party. I really enjoy all your videos, no matter the content. Please make yourself happy first in choosing your content, and the followers will come. Best wishes!
I found your videos just last week and since then I feel that each one brings in like a ray of sunshine, Nature and flowers; even those which take place just indoors! Pure joy! It's in your style, good taste, nature and soul. Then there's also a warm feeling about all this taking place in Denmark where I lived as a young girl 4 decades ago! I even remember my address ever since.. Granhøjen 14, Hellerup.. lovely memories. My mother used to love Royal Copenhagen porcelain, and I still keep many pieces from those days. All my best wishes from Colombia, South America where I'm from. Thank you for your beautiful videos!
Why are thrift shops in Denmark such goldmines? Everything you show in your thrifting videos is just so beautiful and lovely 😍 I really wished it would be the same in Germany
You could display your plates on open shelves as decor if you put a rail up or groove in the shelf to keep them standing up. You can you the pretty small bowls for jewelry at your bedside.
Hidy! From Texas grandma! After 50 yrs of thrifting....I so enjoy watching treasures be revealed from good haul. Would wrestle you for that gorgeous teapot/coffee pot/ lemonade pitcher with the gold detail and perfect colored flowers!! Maybe cut flower shapes, hearts or stars out of wallpaper scrap and midge podge on furniture or walls. I've used as background of framed items. Love ur cabinet...think shelves with it would keep kitchen open and cottage style. Storage is always something to keep and use even in pantry or up in "junk" area. Red trinket box with flowers would look sweet on vanity. Keep singing!!
Wow Elise you found some amazing things. All so beautiful. I can't wait to see them come together in your new kitchen. The thing about thrifting is you can find some amazing things, that were once, and still are worth something, but so much nicer to use them all when you get them so cheaply and enjoy the elegance of them. I love thrifting and using crystal glasses. There are so many beautiful things in thrift shops that no longer get passed down because modern life is so throw away. So much nicer to have things that no one else has and to put them together in your own way. Plus it's all about the thrill of hunting down those things. You've done well x
I love your bright, cheerful cabin colors!! I've talked my husband into building a tiny house at the edge of the woods behind our house. I can hardly wait to get started on it😄 I'm going for color in it as well... thanks for inspiring me!! I love all the vintage/antique dishes...so so pretty! The Royal Copenhagen looks like a great buy👍
Hi Kim your project sounds fun, will you be posting videos of this? I also just secured a sweet cabin in the mountains of BC and I will operate a design studio from it including the furniture work I do. I can’t wait! Yes Elise has inspired me too, although my style is more Mary Emmerling than this.
You can use your cute bowls for so many things, the key is to use them. Candy, chips, snacks, like you said make up. They can hold single serve coffee/teas, sugar, nuts, raisins so many things. You bought beautiful places can't wait to see you decorate.
Hi, you bought many adorable pieces for your kitchen. The small round glass bowl we had many of them my grandmother would use them for mints candy kept them on living room side tables also for cut fruits to serve jelly jam at breakfast pudding sauces sugar basically alot of things 🤗 every piece you bought can be used for assorted things. I truly enjoy your vlogs reminds me of my thrifty days and all the things I collected eventually selling at garage sells. I became a minimalist I still have cute thing retro dresses but not as much. Thanks for sharing 💖
I love your floral dress. Very beautiful. I love that little lamp. The lamp shade looked interesting. I like that ground pepper shaker. Those plates are pretty with the gold trim.
Not seen any of these vids before and know nothing about her background, but my god!!! her english is fantastic, Wow!!! its all here retro, second hand shopping and of course a beautiful redhead!!!
I love thrifting! The cabinet you bought is very pretty. I would paint it all white inside and out and put it in the living room. Fill it with lots of little colored vases. I would keep the one you have on the kitchen wall but lower it and put the shelves on each side like you said. You have the best taste. I am seeing large China sets where I live (IL, USA) go for cheap too. I think people don't want metal rims because they can't go in the microwave and it's not so popular to have large formal dinner parties anymore.
Such a lovely day with Elise. Those little glass jugs for milk also look adorable with little flower cuttings from your garden placed throughout the rooms. I love that. If you find beautiful wallpaper in small amounts you can mod pudge them into cupboards or drawers. A wee cupboard with gorgeous wallpaper in the inside also is fun and sweet. I’ve just gotten a sweet cabin in the mountains I will be using as a studio and I can’t wait to get started! It even has a wooden swing hanging from the porch roof. So excited for this next time period.
@@gabbylviera I found an amazing UK wallpaper company, and they sell 11x17 sheets as samples. I’m going to order some and use to add to drawer faces using a decoupage glue. I’ve seen photos and they look glorious. I have wallpapered inside drawers and armoires but not tried the fronts yet. Love anything design and decor and it’s been so much fun to watch Elise. 😊
My favorites are the plates with the open borders. They look really expensive and from a good brand. I also liked the small cut glass bowls. There are so many uses for them. Berries, chocolates, small cookies, sugar cubes, sugared almonds , dip sauces and so on.
Hi Elise 👋 😃 I enjoy your videos so much! I would have to say my favorite piece that you purchased would be the "Pepper Grinder," I love the color and the flower - beautiful! Really love the 3 floral plates with gold though. I adore touches of gold or brass. I thought the little carved glass that you would put makeup brushes in would also look gorgeous with a few roses cut short to fit in it. Fabulous finds for sure. Can't wait to see your kitchen when you're finished! 😊🌻🧡
I have a pretty big collection of kitchen containers and decorative bowls, I use them for everything. If they have lids I use them for putting small essentials, for the one without lids or vases I use one for the scrub brushes for my dishes(I also use a silver gravy boat for sponges), I use some for makeup brushes, kitchen utensils, there are so many uses and they are all so pretty. Btw, it’s called a pepper grinder at least in the United States. 😃
Just love that pepper grinder. What a successful trip for your little cabin. The thrift stores in the area of California where I live have more interesting fabric than nice kitchenware. Quite a great thrift store haul. Thank you for sharing☺💝
Coming along to Danish thrift stores makes me long to go there on a holiday even more! Hopefully next year (and with a big van for all the things I will find and need to bring home, haha)? I love seeing so many different things than what I'm used to here in the Netherlands. Oh, and that pepper mill is absolutely gorgeous! So many lovely finds, I think we have similar taste! x
I love that they are all different but all go together so well. I really enjoy watching you build a collection, and then see it in your home, or garden house. Keep the content coming Elise. I love your videos. ♥️🌻🌹🌷🌸🌺
Beautiful things you have found. Lovely. You like the crystal things too. The smaller one is a sugar bowel and I think the other little one with the lid might be that as well. Your idea of putting lemonade in the teapot was really interesting. Thank -you for that.
You sure found a nice mix of items that go together so nicely. My favorite was the tea pot, I'm a flower girl myself, it's just so pretty and I agree that plate matches great. Really looking forward to seeing what you do with the kitchen. As for that small glass piece @14.01, I think it would be wonderful with cut flowers in it, I love small bouquets placed around in unexpected places.
Hi, that little glass carft in bowl you could also put a a candle inside as decoration. I got a little bowl like that that was from my grandmother and i have it as decoration with a candle and it’s so pretty! I also have another one for some Jewellery. So there are a lot of options. Love esmeralda
You have such an artistic eye for the beautiful! How you paired all these pieces together, and made them look expensively sublime :) Hint: Place the "lip" (or little protrusion) on the teapot lid towards the front (directly above spout). It'll help keep lid secure when you pour tea!
I’m new to your channel and am enjoying it. I’m envious of your thrift stores. So different than here in US. The pepper grinder was adorable. So many things you can use the small glass dish. You could serve preserves in it or dips for guests. The little glass dish with lid could hold salt or sugar. I keep my stevia in a covered dish like that ready for my tea. I love all the different dishes. So fun.
Lovely treasures. Suggestion, don’t worry about what you’re going to use them for. Trust me you’ll find that you’ll discover many different uses for each item. The cabin is coming along beautifully. Can’t wait to see how you decorate and update your kitchen. 😊
Luv your floral outfit so much with the lilac shirt also hairscsrf❤❤❤❤❤We r very happy you have your cabin and your business that your dreams are happening you are a sweet lovely talented soul.
Ohhhh so many favourites, but the floral plates..beautiful. I LOVE a thrift, missing the ones in Europe (I’m from Uk but moved to NZ), so this was so much fun, shopping with you. Have a wonderful Sunday 🌸✌🏻
Thank you that was so lovely again you got so manny nice thrift shops in Denmark iam jalous. I loved the first plates and the salt grainder i realy loved ❤🙏🍀🥰
Elise ..your beautiful cabinet will be more practical in your bedroom for your creams and accesories...I do love a lot that white cabinet where it is... maybe if you paint it or do some decoupage on it...put two shelves on the side wall..🥰🥰
I’ve been waiting on this video for months!! Lol Sooo glad you are on to the kitchen. My favorite piece you bought was the pepper grinder!!!! I wish you had bought the flower painting that you saw before. That means it was waiting on you to come back! Lol Love from 🇺🇸
I’m so glad you bought that cupboard, it’s so beautiful. Could you use the small roll of wallpaper to line the inside of the drawers/unit in your living/bedroom, so you still get to use it?
I think you ought to hang that big Royal Copenhagen plate on your wall so you can enjoy its beauty even when you're not using it. Thank you for including us on your thrifting adventures!
Love your videos, thank you. You are so full of joy I feel sad when your videos end. Love your cottage, and looking forward to watching what you do with it.
You can use the small crystal piece as a candleholder. Also I have used wallpaper as shelf or drawer liners so I can see lovely patterns when I open the cabinet or drawer. Have a wonderful week and thanks for sharing your fun trip.
I think your choices for the plates were complmentary and eclectic( one of my favorite ways to put things together). The pepper mill will be a wonderful piece to display. The first small crystal bowl could hold jam if you wanted to use it only for an occasion. It also could hold a small flower arrangement. I personally like small low arrangements at times rather than big showy ones. It could also be used to hold nuts. The small glass fronted shelves could be nice painted. Another possibility is to remove the doors (it would be a hard decision) and use them as wall decor and then use the other piece as open shelves. Lots of possibilities. Your ability to visualize and your imagination I'm sure will allow you to bring it all together.
I love the plates! All of them are lovely. And the coffee pot is absolutely delightful. You have such wonderful taste, Elise. Thank you for taking us thrifting with you. It was a delightful adventure.
Be happy your thrift shops are quiet. Ours in USA are extremely loud. The love seat would be beautiful in your cottage to go with your chairs, even if you change the upholstery on the chairs, but they are beautiful as they are! Your space is limited, but I can see that love seat under a window with that beautiful curio wall cabinet on the wall with little accessories or the curio even on a table with little bohemiam tea set.,in assorted coral ,blue ,red and gold patterns or brass accessories. You might like to see The Fairy Castle Cottage. I love your fashion. Was this an IKEA store?
Wow finding a Royal Copenhagen platter in a thrift store! I have some RC from when I lived in DK, I just love it. I have some B&G too. Not a lot of each though because quite expensive, even years ago. You picked out such cute things! I love how it's all coming together.
Great finds especially the cabinet. I would suggest leaving the white one in the kitchen and the new one in your bedroom. Open wooden shelves with a white cabinet would provide a blank background for all your colorful dishes and pepper mill. I love your little cabin, so cute, cozy and girly.
Hello Elise! Don't fret my dear, you can use the small roll of wallpaper that you love for so many other projects. If you have a bookcase, you can line the inside backboard of the bookcase (very pretty effect, i think you'd love it) or you can cut out pieces of the wallpaper and decoupage them onto other pieces of furniture. I love your cabin videos and what you've done already with it (especially painting it that gorgeous yellow - you gave it such life!). You are, and everything you create is simply lovely!
I have the same crystal basket that I inherited from my mother. She kept candy for her guests in it. New subscriber from North Carolina, USA. Enjoying your channel!
your videos bring me so much joy 💛 you’re an absolute ray of sunshine

I agree in the US it’s like a rummage sale. Rather messy usually
Yes ,in England not many pieces of kitchen wear so pretty,
Another USA disappointed thrift shopper 😕
I loved the cabinet and the three plates with the cutouts around the edge. Good finds today
I love coming along on your thrift trips! So many good finds. Can’t wait to see what you transform the kitchen into!
Love the color pink you painted in your cabin. You certainly have good taste in your choices.
You could display your plates on open shelves as decor if you put a rail up or groove in the shelf to keep them standing up.
You can you the pretty small bowls for jewelry at your bedside.
I thought this too, open display for plates, they're too pretty to hide away.

Elise, the small clear pitcher is for cream for your coffee or tea. And I am so happy that you bought the cabinet. It's so you.
That green couch at 6:40 is my absolute dream sofa! 😍😍😍

put short stemmed flowers in those small crystal vases...they look lovely
I’m so glad you bought that cupboard, it’s so beautiful. Could you use the small roll of wallpaper to line the inside of the drawers/unit in your living/bedroom, so you still get to use it?
Those first three flat edge plates gave me butterflies! Those are definitely my favorite of your finds!
The pepper grinder was def my fave! 🌿
Loving the teapot. Cool separate pieces that match so well together..
You can use the red cup with white thing on top to put sugar cubes for when Ur drinking tea or something
I would use the cut glass bowl to put flowers in or put mints in them like my grandmother did.
The glass dish you could fill with wrapped candies.
Love the pitcher and cabinet most but all items are lovely.
my favorite piece was the flower teapot! so adorable 💛
ohhh thank goodness for this video, I had a stressful day at work and this is what I needed to calm down. Thank you
That's the nicest pepper mill I've ever seen.
I think you ought to hang that big Royal Copenhagen plate on your wall so you can enjoy its beauty even when you're not using it. Thank you for including us on your thrifting adventures!
The one cut glass piece you asked about would be nice with a chunky candle in it but I think it's a candy dish.
Sugar cubes would be cool in the lidded pot. Great video...love the thrift buys!
I love the idea you have! Mix and match and the romantic flowers💐
Aw, we had that kind of small glass basket when I was a kid back on late 80's and early 90's! We held some wrapped candies in it.
That serving plate at the end would look so lovely as wall art in your pink room 🤍
Elsie,i loved it all.
I would repurpose the white cabinet, maybe in bathroom or some other place. It's quite cute.🥰🌼🌻♋
I always smile while watching your videos

I absolutely loved the three plates
You found some beautiful stuff👍♥️. Can’t wait to see the finished kitchen 😊

The turquoise pepper mill is cute.
I would use the red one with the lid as a sugar bowl and the crystal one to put candy in.
I have the same crystal basket that I inherited from my mother. She kept candy for her guests in it. New subscriber from North Carolina, USA. Enjoying your channel!
Hi from Georgina (Derbyshire England) The little glass jugs look very pretty as flower holders or with a tea light in them.
