The song and picture feels like If I was already there, walking, shopping, and a few years later the mall is closed, it feels... Nostalgic (in my opinion)
@@FredbrStudiosNostalgia is the feeling of bittersweet sorrow and longing as you recall a memory from a time or place you *have* visited. Nostalgia isn’t the feeling of bittersweet sorrow as you recall a place or time you never visited.
For some reason I dream about malls a lot, usually its some variation on the two malls I visited most growing up. They're never exactly how they are in real life, but I can tell what they're based on. They're never dead or abandoned either, I know that there's people there with me, but I seldom remember seeing specific people. Usually there's a reason I'm there but when I wake up I never remember the reason. I know nobody asked but I just thought I'd share under this video since we all love the dead malls aesthetic. Take care.
Pov: its been years since you were stuck in this abandoned mall, you couldn't find your mother but walk around hopelessly yelling for help, but yet nothing, but then you realize something else was in the mall aswell and is trying to lure you in the first floor with the music you're mother uses to help you sleep when you were younger.
I get that the dead mall aesthetic is something a lot of you guys genuinely adore, and I see why. They really are awesome, but please be careful if you genuinely do decide to go to a dead mall, as they are a massive hotspot for crimes like kidnapping, murder, human trafficking ect. Always bring some sort of weapon to defend yourself and never go alone, stay safe!
Under the flickering lights, I tread through the echoing halls of this forsaken mall, where shadows dance with my footsteps, and silence clings to every corner. Above, the speakers murmur a song, a melody from a time long past, carried on the currents of a breathless wind, it weaves through the empty aisles, stirring ghosts of forgotten days. Mannequins stand, frozen in eternal pose, their painted smiles cracked, clothing faded and frayed. I walk past, a solitary figure in a landscape of abandoned commerce. Stores gape open, mouths of a bygone age, displaying relics of a life left behind. A child's toy, untouched on a dusty shelf, a reminder of laughter now silenced, of innocent joy that once filled this space. The song swells, a haunting lullaby, each note a thread of memory, pulling me back to crowded afternoons, to faces now blurred by the passage of time. It is a familiar tune, yet foreign, a bridge to a world that no longer exists. Escalators stand still, their steps collecting layers of time's indifference. I ascend, hand trailing along the rail, feeling the weight of years beneath my touch. Upstairs, the food court sits deserted, tables and chairs in disarray, the scent of meals long gone lingering faintly. In the center of this hushed expanse, a fountain stands dry, its basin cracked. Coins lie scattered, wishes unfulfilled, dreams suspended in a perpetual pause. The song reaches its crescendo, a bittersweet symphony that fills the emptiness, resonating with my solitude. Here, in this cathedral of consumerism, I am a lone pilgrim, wandering, searching for echoes of humanity in the remnants of a shattered world. The music fades, but its essence remains, a poignant reminder of what was, and what will never be again.
There's something off and comforting in these types of photo's. When a supposedly populated place is empty, devoid of people and life. Like, before a mall closes or just a very bad day for the mall as another mall just opened and all the people go there instead. People called this liminal and IDK, the feeling it evokes...the feeling of what do I do now? Now that there's no one here. Now, you're alone with your thoughts...

I did it once. I wasn’t lucid dreaming but I was just exploring. The mall had pink themed walls and had sooo many sections. There was a beautiful clothes section that I wandered around a bit. Later, while leaving the clothes section, I found a little girl waving and saying hello. I waved back I think and afterwards I think I went to an electronics section, which was more red themed than pink. We were the only ones there
