I love how she's not a total goofball and crazy individual, she speaks to them as a mother would that's just being patient with her high energy children
Sumalee's voice is so soothing and gentle that I just want her to tuck me in to bed and read me a story. Feels like that will be the best nights sleep I'd ever get in my life
Can we take a second to appreciate the sheer fucking perfection of the hoof clop sounds Matt makes about 0:20 there? Because holy shit that man is gifted.
Man this conversation hits a lot differently watching this again knowing Nott's Backstory. The almost imperceptible "Son?" from Sam when Nila brings up her son to "If you're going after your son, I trust you 100%." Just oof! And with "future knowledge," you know when she mentioned her son is when Sam decided that Nott was all-in with her.
Her intensity when she talks about striking the leader with lightning reminded me of grog when he demanded the “Fix Him!” When scablands was found dead.
I dunno why I picked up on it, but it interested me to see how Nila (and possibly the rest of her clan) isn't strongly connected to the outside world. Like her saying she didn't understand what 'Holy' meant. I find little details like that really interesting.

Amazing, especially when she's well known for voicing Arcee in Transformers: Prime and Admiral Sanda in Voltron: Legendary Defenders.

Didn‘t really care about Calianna, but yeah some great guests in C2
