  • Does size really matter?...ya know...for sissy bars? Today I installed my Burly Brand sissy bar on my Rebel 1100 and compared it to my OEM Honda Passenger Backrest. There seemed to be a clear winner based off of Nina's reaction, but I'll let you be the judge...

No it doesn’t. I just discovered that a few days ago after someone else asked. Apparently it has something to do with needing to add resistors to the brake light wire because of the way it’s now grounded or something? I don’t know, I know nothing about electrical so I’m waiting on someone else to figure it out lol apparently it’s an issue when adding LED’s to Goldwings also because of how Honda designed their LED’s.

Did Nina ever learn how to drive her Rebel 500?

It’s a 300 and right after we got it the weather went to absolute crap all winter, so she’s only been on it that one time. I gave an update in a recent video, but short version is that it still has to get inspected and tagged before we can get her back out on it. Hopefully soon though! 🤞🏻

Good vids but you need some nicer tools. That ratchet sucks. Try S K. Nice tools good price

Hi, Birch! I'm sorry, but I don't think, that the Sissy Bar adds to the look of the Rebel. It's my personal thing, I just don't like Sissy Bars. If it's okay with you and specially Nina, then go with it, I think it is a little bit too thin to match the overall look and the the angle of it doesn't match anything else on the bike. But as I said, if you like it, keep it, diversity is key! Ride on!
