@@marceldevilliers8710 I started BG1 for the first time last year (my first ever crpg) and a year later ive played bg1/2 ice wind dale 1 2. They have really hold up. I cant even imagine what it would be like to play them way back in 1998. I am currently replaying bg1 and plan to be done with bg1 and 2 by the time bg3 gets a full release

@@marceldevilliers8710 I wouldn't say they're not worth it... Pillars of Eternity is pretty good (especially Deadfire). Not quite the same but it does have great environments, combat, party customization and RP. Story is weak IMO but they're the closest you can get to BG and IWD. Divinity is good but it's not really the same kind of game at all.

I wish more people of my generation played games like Baldurs Gate and Icewind Dale. New games are just not worth it. They don't come close
