My teenage years right here! Soule's score perfectly captured the beauty, wonder, and horror of Icewind Dale. I still get chills 20+ years later.

Can't remember playing the games but I have read the Drizzt books so many times, this brings back good feels!

Soule never fails to produce absolute wonder and magic to every game he composes for. It's truly a loss that he will not be scoring TE6

18 years ago and some titles made me shed tears out of nostalgia... The music just fit so perfect on some areas... Damn

Skeleton of a Town is the most beautiful piece of music I have ever heard, not just from video games but anywhere.

The music sounds a lot like Morrowind & Skyrim !
Great work from Jeremy Soule and Inon Zur

These games live in the shadow of the orginal Baldurs Gate entries but they're both very fun and engaging in their own way. The setting is great too.

Amazing compilation and another triumph for this channel! Keep these videos coming with other CRPG franchises as well and with that I would request a Planescape: Torment compilation for the list

Jeremy Soule made some excellent fantasy music for the games Dungeon Siege I & II. Any chance you could make an ambient music vid for those?

Yes, I can do that. Good point, I enjoyed playing Dungeon Siege :-)

Jeremy Soule, the Mozart of video game soundtracks. Inon Zur is not far behind imo.

What is Icewind? Does it have anything to do anything with Skyrim?

It is an RPG based on Dungeons and Dragons and was developed by the same studio that developed the Baldur´s Gate games. It is a different style, compared with Sykrim, just the composer for the music is the same. The world is not so open and the story quite linear. It features a very nice winter setting and good combat system.

Uh, it is a wonderful dungeon crawler, made by the best (now defunct) game studio: Black Isle.

@ikersainzdelamaza2358 As requested :-) Just the ambience could be added, I will see if I get a good idea and can make a second version
