I never knew that long before the X-Men, the Nolan verse, the Snyder verse, or the MCU, there was a cult following for just ONE superhero movie. One that actually achieves what many other superhero movies fall short on. Developing & fleshing out the characters. A story that isn’t a cliche “save the world” buildup. With incredible music. Like what many others said: This movie was made 10-15 years too early.
This film was a groundbreaking superhero film. Like Marvel, DC, Watchmen, etc., it also wasn't based off an already existing comic book character. Bruce Willis' character didn't have the benefit of a pre-existing comic book backstory to work from.

Ja Bruce, hab Tränen in den Augen. Danke Euch auch Bruce für die Super Filme. Held meiner Jugend und natürlich ein Super Soundtrack. Steht im Regal. "Lebt lang und im Frieden"
Now this is just a what if type of thing but I came up with a different ending for Glass. It would be an after credits scene which would take place in David Dunns house, it would start in the basement of the house, where the weights are, and all in one take it would slowly go up the stairs, keep in mind at the beginning of this scene the main theme of Unbreakable(0:00) would have already started, and as we gradually go up the stairs of David's house, the track keeps building until we reach the coat hangers at the front door of David's house, at that point 2:03 would begin to play as we see David's iconic raincoat, and it would continue on getting closer to the raincoat until we hear footsteps coming downstairs and at that point a hand would reach for the jacket and take it, and then at 2:44, we would hear someone turning the lights off and the screen would cut to black as the track fades. Keep in mind I completely respect M.Nights vision and I wouldn't be mad if he kept it this way, the whole point of Glass was to be subversive and I respect that M.Night went for his own thing, and I think that adds to Glass, but I still think if this happened it would be a nice triumphant end to the trilogy.
So it's ambiguous if Joseph takes up the mantle or if David survived? Not bad. Music may work for it, but it would need to be cut off or edited to be conclusive.
Alternatively, I would have liked for the Beast to successfully drown David and then for his son to take up the fight and, to everyone's surprise, actually hold his own. Then the shooting can happen and Joseph can flee.
@Ramzi Productions Definitely not my ideal ending either, but we're trying to make the most of a really bad thing here. The secret society thing really should have been relegated to an end credits thing. It did nothing for the plot.

So underrated. Yes, you're listening to it right now... but if you were alive when this movie came out, you know this soundtrack has never gotten the popularity it deserved. Something about these themes always reached into my chest and touched my heart. Like I can close my eyes and feel the music touch me. Composer never got enough credit. Blows my mind that this came from another human's head.
James Netwon Howard was great with his "Wyatt Earp" music but that ultimately just adds fake nobility to a no-good time and place. His work for "Signs" transcended everything, as befits a film of divinity being started JUST as 9/11 unfolded and designed specifically to help people get over that, and thus replete with the bounty of the Holy Spirit. But this one is also absolutely tremendous (always putting me in mind of the music of the great epics), but the question is why? I have seen Unbreakable but not Glass (though I would like to), so I have no full context to say where the majesty and depth here come from. If this is again divine inspiration, well why would that be so?
A way I personally feel the ending could’ve been slightly improved with a small addition is showing a specific individual be inspired by the footage. Better yet show multiple people realising their potential with the footage on their phone or computer in view. Someone climbing the wall, someone bending steel, just give some light on how these three truly changed the world.

Remember, we are talking about M Night Shyamalan, the guy who likes to give a plot twist. If you, as well as I, was expecting the door at the morgue just blow up and he appears alive, then he (Shyamalan) won't give us that, because this is what we expected. M Night Shyamalan wants to give surprises to his audiences. If you expect something to happen in his movies, he will not give it, but instead, he will deliver what you don't expect. Plus, he didn't want to create a Shyamalan Cinematic Universe, same as Marvel or DC. The Unbreakable, Split and Glass are the trilogy he wanted and a fourth movie will ruin it.
@@jontez1340 i think i heard it as well a little piece when Joseph is young (a deleted scene from unbreakable that was put in Glass) and is about to sleep and David comes in to say good night, Joseph said he'd keep his identity hidden :)
As good as the music was in Glass, I can't help but think just how much more emotional and impactful the finale would've been if the music used in the final train station scene was the theme that played during the credits from Unbreakable, or even 'The Orange Man'. Better yet, a new version of the theme with Split's 'Meeting the Others' integrated within it could've been incredible. Not that 'Origin Story' wasn't bad, though. West Dylan Thordson did a grand job in fairness.
The only good guy to exist in the entire unbreakable universe. Plenty of villains in it like mr.glass, the beast, the psychiatrist lady, and the swat teams. And the bad guys won, thanks David Dunn for everything but the odds were against you.

Beautiful
Love this theme!
" So many sacrifices just to find you. Now we know who you are, I know who I am "
I love that line it's so poetic.
I am so sad how the movie glass ended.
David Dunn is forever my favorite superhero bring him back pls 🙏🙏 like logan and Henry Cavill superman
David lives!!
I believe he will return like superman did, hopefully he is alive!
I believe he is alive Henry Cavill superman gives me hope for his return 🙏🙏🙏 the overseer shall return
Oke of the best movies and soundtracks of all time!
There are real heros just like David in this world....Both men and women...
David Dunn is forever my favorite superhero bring him back pls 🙏🙏 like logan and Henry Cavill superman
@@preciousotoakhia9789 there is something called a hero complex...Don't let the net distorte its meaning...He/she is the opposite of a ceral killer...They don't take lives...They will risk thier own to save yours...Read about it...
This soundtrack is perfect for jogging. And, of course, it's a cinematic masterpiece.
Best film i´ve see for far time
Heroism coin is Personal Glory. It is the delta between your good deed and the reward by doing it. David got the exact opposite of what he deserved and he'll be remembered by it.
We are all heroes
!
" Heroes live inside of us, but villains live among us "

@7:56 - "Now that we know who you are, I know who I am... I'm not a mistake! It all makes sense. In a comic you know how you can tell who the Arch Villain is going to be? He's the EXACT OPPOSITE of the Hero... And most times they're friends like you & me. I shoulda known way back when. You know why David!? BECAUSE OF THE KIDS!!!"
*"They called me Mr. Glass"*
This film is SO damn GOOD!
The most realistic superhero ! Bravo to M. Night Shyamalan
I wanted the soundtrack apeared when he brokes the door, when he dies and at the credits... It could made fue movie much better.
yes it should of made an appearance
I could be wrong here but i could have sworn that this was played during the movie, not for long but i did hear it.
@@jontez1340 i think i heard it as well a little piece when Joseph is young (a deleted scene from unbreakable that was put in Glass) and is about to sleep and David comes in to say good night, Joseph said he'd keep his identity hidden :)
@@UniqueGeekFreak Brilliant
You can kill all the partial villains but you can never underestimate the Mastermind. Especially Elijah Price aka Mr. Glass
Sublime
As good as the music was in Glass, I can't help but think just how much more emotional and impactful the finale would've been if the music used in the final train station scene was the theme that played during the credits from Unbreakable, or even 'The Orange Man'.
Better yet, a new version of the theme with Split's 'Meeting the Others' integrated within it could've been incredible.
Not that 'Origin Story' wasn't bad, though. West Dylan Thordson did a grand job in fairness.
End leads to new beginnings. Belief is the motif for the future. I do think there should have been more references though to add weight.
If we could avenge you, Overseer, we would. Rest in peace king, we never doubted you.
The only good guy to exist in the entire unbreakable universe. Plenty of villains in it like mr.glass, the beast, the psychiatrist lady, and the swat teams. And the bad guys won, thanks David Dunn for everything but the odds were against you.
Well, they didn’t win completely… in a strange way, Glass might have given rise to a whole new generation of heroes that could eventually come to avenge David… he deserved better though. RIP Overseer… we still miss you even now.
David Dunn is forever my favorite superhero bring him back pls 🙏🙏🙏 like logan and Henry Cavill superman

Glass is going to be the best movie of 2019.
Yikes
The two dislikes are Kevin and Elijah.
@Ramzi Productions right.
Este es uno de los mejores protagonistas del cine y uno de los mejores super héroes de la ficción
I'm extremely sad that i won't be able to hear this in any movies in any theatres again 😔😞
How come these soundtracks r not even nominated for Oscars 2019 goddamnit!!!I meant Soundtracks from Glass
Tek kelimeyle muhteşem bir filmlerdi unbreakable, split ve glass
This music is wonderful.
The best super hero of ever
No shooting friends, Joseph.
Its one of the Best Films I loved and im so glad my Older Brother introduce me to the films
This is a brilliant mix. Thank you.
What happens if M NIGHT makes another one with David still alive? After all in unbreakable he did drown in a pool as a kid for 5 min and came back! My mind would be blown cause it would tie in so well.
I loved this movie
He retired to a simpler life for his son.. he will return. He is... UNBREAKABLE
David Dunn is forever my favorite superhero bring him back pls 🙏🙏 like logan and Henry Cavill superman
Here’s to Bruce Willis who is now retired from acting because of Alzheimer’s. 🙏
