  • Yo guys! Thanks for tuning into another one! Beta Theta Pi Fraternity asked me to come up to Purdue University over the weekend and wheel one of their karts!! Had a super fun time and cannot wait to go back and help them once the Grand Prix starts!! If you live in indy or northern Indiana, be sure to check out the upcoming Grand Prix!!! So awesome to know colleges are continuing to offer motorsports to their students and we get to sponsor one of the karts!!

I enjoy all of your videos, but this was one of my favs for many reasons. I loved seeing everyone in the Kart. They also picked a great driver for the race. Good luck at the race! Keep up the great job, Sam and David! ❤️‍🔥🤗💋

I hope they added a differential to the rear axle. By adding that "safety cage" they destroyed the handling. Karts work by lifting the inside rear tire which frees up the rear axle and allows the kart to rotate. If the inside rear tire cant lift off the front end has to work much harder which is why it's chewing up front tires. That cage is really not needed.

Agreed, but unfortunately Purdue makes them add a cage for “safety”

@@youngandboosted Can they at least add a differential? That would at least make them handle it better. It's always sad to see people with no understanding of the dynamics of a vehicle, decide that they need to modify it to make it "safer" only to make things worse. I raced karts for many years. Started in enduro karts, then went to sprint karts with a KT100, and finally moved on to road racing Shifter Karts with a CR125 modifed to make 42 hp. I always had a blast no matter what I raced. In all the years I raced karts, I never once rolled one. I certainly had my fair share of off-road excursions but with the lower center of gravity, they are very unlikely to roll. SKUSA with their plastic barriers probably causes more launched karts than the barriers prevent. Good luck with it!
