How lovely to see you both together. What a beautiful lady your good wife is. Thank you for sharing your history connecting you within car. So often a reason for model collectors.

I took my driving test in a 68 Fleetwood. Parallel parked it third try without tug boats. You two didn't mention the living room sized damask upholstered rear seat/sofa ideal for a young couple in an orange grove💕

LOL! Kelly wouldn't let me talk about that!

I worked in a gas station in my hometown 1969-72 and one of our regular customers had one of those. Beautiful inside and out

Another great My Take John. Such a treat to see Kelly with you on this one. A perfect color and one I chose as well, along with the red version. A special model for the both of you. Well done.

Growing up in the funeral profession, my grandfather's funeral fleet were 1968's...M&M Coach and the original stretch limo...in black. Beautiful when clean and polished, but a pain in the backside keeping them that way...which was my job!
These models are fantastic, though I do wish that there were white metal producers in these model years?
    Thanks John, as usual, Sir!👍

My dad taught me how to properly wash and wax a car when I was about 12. He said, "You'll never really know your car until you wash and wax it by hand. I wasn't quite sure what he meant until I started doing it on my own. You get to "feel the lines" of the car. Your experience must have been just as formative.
I'd love to see some white metal too. The good news is that Brooklin plans on moving into the sixties and seventies is a big way.

@@Kuvakas Yes, I became obsessive/compulsive with all of my cars. I've remained in the funeral profession for 38 years now. Washed many a cars in that time. Thankfully, most are in white, today. Doesn't show dust as bad.
You do learn every line, angle, scratch, ding, ect.
Great to hear that Brooklin is looking toward the late 60's and 70's model years. I, sincerely, hope that there are funeral cars in that future line up?👍

Hi John, Kelly is a really nice woman by your side.
I'm from Germany and bought this exact car and I'm really excited about the quality. As you keep saying in the video, the datails have been implemented excellently. I have many Cadillac and Lincoln model cars in 1:43, most of them made by Neo Scale Models. I´m also very enthusiastic about these Neo Scale Model cars. You presented this vehicle very well.
    Liebe Grüße aus Deutschland
    Uwe

Thanks you for your kind comments. I will share them with Kelly.
I agree Neo does a fine job. But there have been precious few recent releases. I hope to see more in the future. Meanwhile, GLM/Stamp is doing a great job as well.

Hey John, do you know of any website that Stamp is currently putting up pictures of upcoming products? They were listing images every 2-3 weeks on Facebook but there hasn’t been anything since around Oct. of last year and it seems they still have products coming out. Their website doesn’t seem very up to date either

    • @Kuvakas

I try to keep up via their webpage, but I agree, it can be a challenge. They've been asking for input. I'll suggest something like a newsletter. If you're on facebook, the Toy Car Geek/Dave Gilbert keeps the news from GLM/Stamp pretty current. He's a good guy to deal with, as well.

@@Kuvakas Thank you, I always looked forward to seeing their newest release as they have such top notch products. Please tell them that I, as well as many others from what I’ve seen on forum comments are anxiously awaiting the next 1:18 offering

I bought it in Orlando, FL in 1978, got it for $1000!
