Hello G3orge, I am stuck at step (@13:30) of selecting the volume, it says "We couldn't create a new partition or locate an existing one." Can you help?
Thanks Mike! I don't remember why I didn't show the drivers, I think my thought was that the video would be far too long with driver installation. The keyboard is Noppoo Choc Mini 84. I have some videos of it on my channel if you want to take a look.
I bought exactly this computer in 2017 and am still using it. I have only run Linux Mint on it, never Windows. It's great except the fan gets blocked with dust causing it to overheat, requiring me to pull it apart to clean occasionally. Linux runs well, but I get a few wifi annoyances.
Although you installed the ssd in m.2 form can you install a physical hdd in the same time with the m.2? If not can you install the hdd as the only drive without the m.2 ssd?
G3ORGE thank you for the quick reply! I have another question though. I saw the tech specs of this online and it says it only supports up to 2133MHz ddr4 ram sodimm. Can i use a ram from corsair vengeance that supports up to 2666MHz? Will the setup work?
+Sebastian Darmawan I read about that myself when I researching NUC. You can and it'll get down clocked to NUC's speed (2133). I would recommend you get the 2133 speed. You won't benefit from faster RAM as it'll be set to 2133 anyway, you'll just be paying more money
Thanks for the review. I'm thinking of getting this model to install Hackintosh and I will equip it with m2 ssd & 16 gb ram. Do you think it can handle Android Studio, XCode etc. without lagging issues?
Great video!!! Why dont you put all the specs of the ssd and ram and more into the about section of the video so that you get more views. Maybe amazon referral links so that you get your cut. Also the prices for the setup. How much is this setup?
+Nur Myrzamurat That's a great idea, Nur. Thank You! I'll do it over the weekend. I thought nobody used to look at descriptions... But now that you mentioned that, I think you're right. Thanks again!
You just got a subscribe! But could you please tell me how loud is it when browsing and watching movies at 4K/60hz? I was looking to buy the skull canyon but that thing is way too loud for my taste.
Nice, that would save me some usb ports on adapters, Do you know i can do some photoshop editing and light video editing on these? Or the video card is too weak for that? By video editing i mean screen recording, cutting parts of videos off, etc.
@@FreezingFroggie You can easily do Photoshop, Vegas/Premiere. It easily handles cutting, adding, etc. Unless you throw huge projects on it with 10+ layers of video effects, you're not going to have any problems.
@@georget10i Great ill look for it. Last question do you think it can handle hard drives with encryption? Those who ask for password on a BIOS level. It looks like it can handle them like a normal computer would.
G3ORGE I never saw the strap. But FYI when static hits a semiconductor, it does not necessarily blow up the pin. It may actually degrade it. Repeated static contact will shorten its life. You can see this on the die under a good microscope. A piece of real wood is actually better than a piece of cloth for static resistivity.
@@iMutiny Wrong. The case only grounds if you have a grounded cable plugged in. I was talking about in the start where he's installing the RAM and SSD. The power isn't even plugged in - there's no path to ground. Nonetheless, I was only joking - but if a professional electronics engineer saw that this - they would cringe.
Amazing how technology goes fast, windows installed within 8 minuts. When I installed win 98 it took me 45 minuts.
I am not gonna lie, I laughed really hard when you said "This light looked cool for the first few minutes, but now it is getting on my nerves."
Would like some 1 tell me how can I reveal key from the bios I mean how can I change in bios don't know wich button I can just scroll with Maus
Excellent video!!! Thank you from across the pond in the US.

Excellent video G3ORGE ! Thanks a lot for all the useful infos
Thanks Paolo!
I would like you to make a video with load times with programs like Eclipse, Intellij, MySQL Workbench, etc. Regards!

GREAT VIDEO MAN.
Hi ! if you were to use these with no operating system can you still hook up 2 monitor via HDMI and display the Intel BIOS on 2 screens ?
Very nice video with earnest presentation. Thank you!
I heard they are loud fan wise.
Great video!
Очень крутой комп! Браво!
Nicely done...very comprehensive. Wish you would have shown loading the drivers. What keyboard are you using? It looks nice and compact.

My LAN is also not working but works with other PC and I tried the same thing you did but still not working.
Would this pc run on a 12v battery
Appreciate your efforts
I appreciate your comment Rajiv. Thank you!
Great follow up.
Thanks for simple explanation

Hey, great video!
What are you thinking about the NUC now? It’s still good fast and strong?
can it be connected with more than one user using n computing?
If you can do it on a normal PC or a laptop, then yes, sure, it can.
i want to use it as a host pc for 10 users using ncomputing
10 users maybe a little too much. Especially if they start browsing, etc... It's still a mobile CPU.
what about 6
I'd say 5.
Great video what is the cost of the mini cpu
About 350-400 now.
Although you installed the ssd in m.2 form can you install a physical hdd in the same time with the m.2? If not can you install the hdd as the only drive without the m.2 ssd?
+Sebastian Darmawan You can't install a 2.5" drive in this version of NUC at all. Only m.2.

G3ORGE apparently the USA website shows that vengeance ram is cheaper than value select for some reason i dont know why.

Do we need to change boot order to install win 10 using bootable USB?
If the USB is not set as the first boot device then, yes.
Thank you 😍
Does this have Dedicated Graphics card?

Great video George!
How much power do this little baby consume?
+Easy Brat Hey, thanks! I haven't actually measured how much it consumes, but probably less than a modern laptop - the same internals, but no screen.

How much cost the pc??
The fan does sound quite loud for sitting on desk next to the monitor.

Yikes! No static strap and working on a piece of cloth.
