The Stonehenge sequence of spinal tap kills me no matter how many times I see it.

Or when the bass player gets stuck in the pod and they had to take a hammer to it just to get him out. Shit cracks me up.

I think This is Spinal Tap was the first time I saw a funny movie where the jokes were delivered in a deadpan style. I was young & every TV show had a laugh track. And TV & movies always had a "punch line" or the joke was so over-the-top & obvious. Spinal Tap taught me to appreciate the low key jokes that others might miss & a stepping stone to adulthood where the jokes weren't spoon fed to me. I feel bad for others that have to be spoon fed jokes or even information for the most part, it makes me think they're sleepwalking through life. It's sad.

I saw Spinal Tap in the movie theater, and I thought it was hilarious, but I was probably the only one in the theater laughing, so I laughed even louder. The irony of the humor, and the non-comprehension of the audience was just a perfect comedic moment.
