Or asking joke questions and they can't tell. The only reason it was cancelled was because 9/11 happened, and it seemed insensitive to keep it going.

It has nothing to do with race, nobody would like to become a different person against their will. If someone said we are going to totally change your personality or body and your race stayed the same people would still freak out if they believed it. People have only ever lived in their own body, they wont be comfortable having that changed.
