This interview is full of gems. I recently had a conversation with someone who works at a company and he asked me what my salary expectations were, I gave them the range posted on Glassdoor for Automation QA. He literally tried to make me feel like my skill set was not worth that kind of money. Stay away from people like that. Most of the times it's not that we are asking for too much, it's that there are companies that don't see the value in a particular role. God is good and I will eventually find the right job soon.

I have so much in common with your guests. Most of the time Coming from a third world country we get to be so grateful for being able to finding a job let alone ask for more. We feel like what we have been given is what we deserve and we are afraid of demanding more. Also, in certain cultures its in polite to demand more! makes you feel like you are doing something wrong. I had to re-learn. Believe you deserve everything that's great and don't apologize for it. Great Program.

So the question of “what is your worth?” Is a hard question to answer for newbies because it’s like based off what I just learned through this course and the amount of projects I’ve done WHAT IS THAT WORTH to a corporation or the going salary for that skill set and position…sometimes we don’t know what that equates to in the market at that specific time vs a recruiter knowing what companies are paying based off XYZ…..a recruiter is recruiter..so for a football example recruiters come and look for talent and based off that players ranking or stats he/she knows I’m worth a full scholarship or partial scholarship at least

It would be very nice and helpful if the guest are actually able to complete their statements, flow or line of thoughts before you chip in. Lots of times, the conversation changes even before they finish answering a question. So basically, would be great for you and the show, if you let them finish speaking before you ask another question or offer your opinion on the topic. No pun intended bruh.

Great podcast & goods info. I might have missed this but How do you “calculate” your worth based in the skills you have?

Look at the market for your state (check on Glassdoor) and ask for slightly above that based on if you have a degree/bootcamp/experience in that field

I applied for many jobs at Microsoft only to get slammed, Im glad to see microsoft employing blacks and that more blacks are making the hiring decisions. Are you in the Seattle HQ.

Love your work!! Big fan just want to give some feedback, try shooting in a different frames per second I believe it’s 60fps but far back scenes just don’t look as natural
