Companies allowing recruiters to post jobs that are not going to be filled just market research… this is a problem
Absolutely, that can be frustrating. Transparency in job postings is key.
A huge issue! They are data mining and wasting peoples time. Basically, we are paying them with our info.

Great conversation all around. She made some really good points and it sounds like her and her husband have a safe loving marriage. I recently met with an Ex and she told me she’s very unhappy in her marriage. Her husband is very conservative and insecure. She told me he demands her to be submissive because of his culture. She told me she was submissive to me because of how I loved her. This guy is worlds apart and he doesn’t even realize he’s losing her because of it. I wish #RecruiterCousin could go on tour with her message for success in career and family. Awesome guest great show!

Is this information relevant to today's market? We know it worked 12-18 months ago, but with so many out of work people...jobs are being way more selective
This is why strategy is important. When you’re applying, you don’t want to spray and pray. When you’re applying, you want apply a lot in an organized way and you also want to be selective.
Wassup! She is currently the biggest recruiter at the current #1 tech company in the world. No ones information is more relevant for today.

Most of these tech jobs are very difficult to get hired on because the ATS systems are denying good candidates without even reviewing the resumes.
Absolutely get that frustration! ATS systems can be tricky. Tailor your resume to match job keywords, and consider networking to bypass ATS. It's a challenging process, but persistence pays off.
Are the projects you build the deciding factor or is it based on the recruiters personality?
Both the projects you build and your interpersonal skills can be crucial. Having strong, relevant projects showcases your technical abilities, while your personality and communication skills during interviews help recruiters assess your fit within the team and company culture. It's a combination of both!

Loved her information on recruiting. You all need to leave relationships alone though. She was lucky to find a Black man like the one she has because we as women know men like that are the exception and not the rule. So please stop the gaslighting. BW just need to open up their dating pool to men of other races, go to therapy if they need to and hold on to their values.
