Great video. Do you think the Reverso is too delicate to wear, despite its origins as arguably the first sports watch? Would you pass on it despite its incredible looks and legacy?
Good question. My experience from wearing it was that it got a lot of scratches, but I think that had mainly to do with the case shape and the size of my wrist. It's definitely a sturdy watch though, movement is very solid and built quality is great. I think the main reason I didn't wear it all that much was the art deco styling - maybe it was a bit too French for me in the end 😅
@@WatchTheFreshFaces Makes sense. The Art Deco is very cool to me, but it is a really strong style that may or may not appeal. But that begs the question: would you do a non-nostalgic, thoroughly modern Reverso, like the Squadra World Chronograph?
Great Review indeed! Planning to get one of these. One question tho: I know it's a non-hacking movement but can we use back-hacking to stop the seconds hand? (Turning the minute hand very slightly backwards when setting the time). I've got different answers so far. It seems that back-hacking only works when the power reserve is low. Thank you!
Reverso is a nice iconic piece no doubt. I hope to add 1 to as a collection piece . However no matter how I like it, it just never sits properly on my wrist. Don't know why.
I love Monoface, but it felt weird on my wrist. The Duoface Tribute fits so much better, and it has that thickness and presence that I think is more versatile dressing up or down.
Except, your fitbit is made of cheap plastic and will likely be of no use in 2 years time. Meanwhile, a mechanical watch such as this will (if cared for correctly) outlast both of us quite easily
Love your take! Got the red one and love it truly
Amazing watch
Excellent review. Such a gorgeous piece.
💚 all the way.
I totally agree! ✅
Hey Fresh! Watching your video early in a Saturday morning. I love the green Reverso. Looking forward to your thoughts.

Actually, the strap is an homage to casa fagliano. It really is made by JLC. That is why it says it was produced in France.

😅 Same here! Totally agree on everything you say here :)

Expensive fitbit
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Either you have a very unique sense of humor, or you were dropped as a child and had your brain re-wired. Which is it?
