Juan. Bro. Come on these lessons are just TOO GOOD. Ive spent hours over the last few weeks on the same few videos, literally a wealth of knowledge. The exercises are SO good, not only seeing you play, but the sheet music too... These are HUGE building blocks to adding some of the "Greats" vocabulary into our playing. Bro you are AWESOME. Really appreciate you. Literally the best piano tutorials on TH-cam, its not even close. Cheers my man :)

This is one of the most useful illustrations I've seen to help develop the single note Jazz line. Many thanks!

Hi Juan. I'm trying to find the piano sheet music for Red Garland's Long ago and far Away. Can't find it on Google or any database.
Do you have any suggestions for my next step? I'm thinking about contacting the record label that owns his music, as desperate as I am .
    Any input would be appreciated.
    Thanks
    / Sia

      Hi Sia,
If you want the general lead sheet for Long Ago and Far Away, it's easy to find it on Google.
If you want the specific transcription from Red Garland's recording, that might be difficult to find, since it's mostly improvised.
I guess you could ask someone to transcribe it for you, but it might take some time and money.
      Hope this helps,
      Best!
      J

Definitely a lot of 2-5-1 progressions! Was that on purpose?

Hi! Well, since there are just so many of those in most jazz songs it’s definitely useful to have as many as possible in your repertoire :)
