- MX vs ATV has been in most of our lives for quite some time, some good others not so good and now we get a taste of that on the Switch. How does it shape up?

Honestly, I just bought this on sale for 70% off... I’m pleasantly surprised now. There is lots of “DLC”, but thankfully there are TONS of tracks and whatnot that come with the game. Also, I notice the games is about 27-30 FPS. Graphics also look pretty solid... I have seen some newer racing AAA games where the graphics look terrible with tons of pop-in; this is not that. There’s not much pop in at all, besides some little terrain that’s somewhat far ahead of you that you can barely see when speeding on your bike anyways... but I definitely don’t notice anything big like ramps or trees popping in at all, and I think that’s most important. The game gets a bad wrap but I think it’s pretty awesome. Gameplay is fun as ever too... I have an MX vs. ATV game on my PS3 that’s really great but I found that the controls and bikes in that one were almost too realistic? It was really hard to do any tricks or maneuvers. This game makes doing tricks easier than the latest PS3 game. Anyways, it’s on sale literally RIGHT now and I think it’s still on sale for another day or so, so if you see this, I’d say get it. It only cost me $23. I’m gonna get the DLC eventually too, but there’s so much on here I really don’t need it until I beat the game which I think will be a while.
But yeah... the gameplay is good old MX vs ATV, FPS is pretty solid besides small dips here and there but it’s not extremely noticeable, and the graphics are great for Switch. It’s definitely worth the sale price. 🙏🏼💯

The game might not be the best rn but once updates start comming out it will be a whole nother game that's how it was on xbox and ps4.
I'm hoping they keep updating it. So far I haven't had an update but we will see. I know the xbox version is a rather good game, so I'm hoping this will be handled with the same care

If you played these games and have a buddy to play it with then it’s worth it if you have money to spare, if you find it on sale I really recommend to get it!
I haven't played any of these games since ATV Offroad Fury 2 way back on the PS2. I'm glad to see the riders still have the same goofy ragdoll physics when they crash. Putting that many microtransactions in the game is just scummy though. I'd expect that sort of thing from Bandai Namco or Koei Tecmo, not THQ Nordic.
First thing I noticed. I sat there and watched my character ragdoll and clip through a piece of the metal fence and all I could think is " I would never take points off for that, that is the true MX feel of goofy physics "
@@ForYourMoney one of my favorite things to do in the old ATV Offroad Fury games was drive into an invisible wall, ricochet off it and watch my driver's limp body fly through the air. Goofy ragdoll physics only make games better.
@@samvimes9510 First thing I checked in this game was for the cannon we always got back in the originals, tho it wasn't a cannon, it still shot my character and it was nostalgic to watch my character ragdoll through the air

Nothing beats Atv quad racing 2 for gamecube ..
Hmm.. Yes. Mx VS Atv unleashed on xbox and ps2. Maybe also on gamecube, i don't know. The free ride worlds with also fun vehicle to change is one reason. You can find a stunt plane as exsample and.... You can press a buttom and drive it. XD Mx and Mx vs atv unleashed are the best games in my opinion. They are still the best. Test them! I played the one on gamecube too. :) So if you like that, you will love those too.
