Regarding the long process of getting the notes into the vocoder. I’m thinking I should be able to export midi notes from the vocal using the flex pitch tool and import them onto vocoder

Do you know how to make the voice synthesizer effect Kevin does on tracks like Let It Happen, Eventually and Love/Paranoia? It seems more grainy and slightly modulated than his usual vocals (which you did an amazing job recreating in your other vid)
A Roland JV-1080 patch called “Hush Pad” layered with another pad called Jet Pad 2
also he samples his vocals through a unit called the vp 9000, puts it in hard tune/ robot mode and plays his vocal like a pad
why do you have the Master volume knob all the way up? is it like a mixing trick or something?
