Outta all the videos with suavecito I STILL watch this one from day 1, it’s what got me into suavecito.
You have, without a doubt, one of the best pomps I've seen. So many dudes go for the whole psychobilly ramp/wedge look, but the way you keep those waves gives your hair a really classic and authentic look. Love it.

@jmizzle4 when u do the regular pomp,high and tight,the hair is longer in the front and gets shorter as u go back.if you are going to make it high and tight,the hair on the sides is also a little longer than on the top of the head because it has to comb somewhat up towards the top as it goes back because u dont wont it to be poofy on the sides.sorry thats confusing.the best i could suggest is not to go to a mainstream hair cutter but find an old timer type barber shop,they're more familar

That's alotta work. Back in the days the 50's they would comb up those styles & go. Even the coolest pomp back then was Elvis's & I bet he took way less time, a minute or 2. But back then these styles were nearly evrywhere.
@RobsEpicFret its the best type of hair for pomps because the grease is so strong that you can make your hair do virtually anything.i have thick mexican hair and trying to do my pomp every morning is definitely a challenge because it falls no matter how much pomade i use
Girls complain guys don’t know what it is like doing their hair but Greasers sure as hell do and I’m telling you that it probably takes a lot more precision and careful work to achieve the pompadour or rockabilly hair style.

@RobsEpicFret yea and with thin hair you dont need it to be very long to pomp it so you can start pompin' it while you grow it out...i had to wait a whiiiiile because my hair wouldnt stay put.

A brush is a good idea to get the thicker pomades thru the hair evenly. I'm gonna use that. I keep coming back to ur vid for the music. Hehe.

It's first time that I see a such perfect pomp made with a hairbrush.
That would be a VERY respectable hairstyle back in the 50's. The only thing I notice different than back then, is you comb your hair to the side, then back over that. It seems highly logical, and looks cool besides.

Surely great result with Suavecito, but what about classic old school pomades? Do you like them? I find them great, just a bit too heavy for the hair maybe....
@nedonfunnies i try and wash out as much as possible because you don't want it to clog your pours and also in as warm of water as possible so it comes of.. i take a brush into the shower so it rubs off some murrays..

I'm in your position bro, I got that curly Italian hair. Best thing for you to start off with, is mixing pomades. I'd say start with some Murray's (if you're up for having it in your hair for a week) and mixing that with some DAX or Layrite. You can keep doing this, mixing heavy pomades for hold with the lighter pomades for shine and smoothness. Keep searching until you find something that works for YOU.
what do you think is the better Pomade? The Layrite or the Suavecito?
I use Dax Wave & Groom but it is to waxi or greasi for me.

quick question i use the same pomade, but do you use a lot to style your hair i only use like 2 finger fulls but mine doesn't come out as good and i think its because my hair is still short

I have about 1 inch of hair so far, every other day I try not to put shampoo on my hair (because my hair is the frizzy/dry type and so I could have straighter and softer hair), and I wear a cap with my hair slicking back so my hair grows out that way.
