Welcome to NEW GAME PLUS: A series where Heroton plays through a modded/hacked version of a game in an attempt to portray what it would be like if that game had a NG+ mode!
In this video series, We're going back to Twilight Princess once again, but this time using the Hero of Time mod created by Skilarblock! (As well as the revamped mod they created as well).
Not much is different from the base game, but here are the following changes to expect:
The Hero of Time replaces Link, including voice clips, the Gilded Sword and Hero's Shield from Majora's Mask, the OoT version of the Master Sword and Hylian Shield, and The Hero's Shade wolf spirit form over the original. There are more changes available in the Wii U version, though due to my PC Specs, we're sticking to Gamecube for now.
Link does half damage and takes twice as much damage, similar to Hero Mode from later games (And the Wii U version).
Link no longer automatically holds up his shield while locked on, requiring manual input like in previous games.
Cheats are still used only to fix certain issues, such as the Hawkeye not appearing in the shop, and the Hero's Shield being tied to the Wooden Shield instead of the Ordon Shield. (From my understanding, the next build will replace the Ordon Shield with the Kokiri Shield).
Additionally, I have replaced the OST (With some exceptions) with that of OoT and MM to better fit the mood, and a new intro edited by yours truly.
