Was scared to rebuilkd my 25 year old m45 for my miata....You saved me so much hassle stress and time with this how to. bless TF out of you man like god damn
I've got one that was damaged the same way with some wear on the rotors. I'm curious if you got this on the car and if so how much power/boost didn't make with the extra clearance from repairing the damage? I've been afraid of trying to fix it but coasing more issues down the road
So we have not ran it yet unfortunately, but we have bench tested it and it builds boost running off a drill..lol...how much on the car is TBD..We are getting back on it for one last run stay tuned for the videos
@@DIYKAI yea, i made sure to make it as thin as possible. I have to have it ready for this weekend, and im sure it will be fine. Im not pushing the blower very hard anyways.
@@DIYKAI Haha yea. Im using this m45 on a miata for autocross, its done pretty well so far. I got it back in the car today and i ran it for a few minutes and it seemed happy.
I’ve had my JRSC apart for a couple weeks now. I’ve got a large spring that I set aside with my snout bearing shaft. Do you know what I’m referring to? I’m trying to get it back together. Thanks!
What the special grease you used and where can I find it? I’m going through the same thing with my JRSC D Series and your videos have been very helpful.
@@DIYKAI I stripped my lobes like you did with acetone as more than 50% of it was already missing and flaking off. So I removed the rest to bare metal. I'm unsure if I'm going to get them coated again. It's hard finding any information out there. I started a new thread on D-Series called "JRSC (Jackson Racing Super Charger) 2021 Complete Reference" to document as much info as I can about what's currently available and what we know about it today since so much of the info is lost or broken.
Thanks man! I dont think so I bench tested it with an electric impact and it was pushing..lol..if it does I may try to cerakote it and see. I have a bench test video I'm editing will post it soon

Your welcome! Glad we could help
Same here, we have a sc semi built single cam tuned on 10lbs of boost it does not make any weird noises but I’m going to rebuild it
Cool little series, I was curious how the M45 was built because I have one on my second gen Miata. Thanks for the videos
Thanks! Your welcome
That little plug in the front is how you change the oil ? damn I didn't know that
Yes it's a little Allen plug, I change the oil once a year

I’m doing the same think on my m45 and m62 supercharger
It's fun not to hard
“Dont Use rtv” Me only having rtv, I used rtv😂💀
LOL the only reason is because many people use RTV wrong and it causes the excess to be forced out the inside you cant see or clean

We also have a tight time line we have a show to make and it’s not looking good

reat informative video. How did you remove the two bearing that you replaced.
We used a hydraulic press and some bearing press plates
Thanks for watching and check out our other videos

Yes the large spring should go inside the snout
@@DIYKAI thanks

@@CSIICoatings Your Welcome and good luck with your rebuild. Are you coating the lobes or housing?

@@DIYKAI do you have a link for it? Also, how did you port and polish up the rotor pack housing? Any new updates on how the jrsc is doing?
