Awesome ride! These 2-door Yukons / Tahoes are extremely rare! And to top it off, this one has the 6.5L Diesel. I really like this era of GM trucks and I REALLY like these 2-door rigs. Nice review man!
I bought Yukon 6.5L TD 1995, military version with no A/C, no power windows or mirrors, rubber interior. I love it, and in Bosnia there are only two of them 🤣 so finding parts is going to be tricky part.
That's an awesome truck, I've always loved these older GM diesels, they hold up really well if you relocate the PMD, and btw, the Pyrometer gauge actually monitors your EGTs (Exhaust Gas Temperature)
My unc got one of these in his garage. He hasn’t rebuild it because of the neighborhood we live in. If you drive one of these down the block, you gon get shot up Fosho.
Those mirrors are from the 07-13 chevy but have been retrofitted to work with the 88-98 C/K trucks. I installed a set on my 94 Silverado. You can find them on Amazon, Ebay or other aftermarket websites for a great price.
@@geragarzia3741 okay. Can we continue a discussion elsewhere? Maybe I could see some pics. No rush, of course, just whenever you have time. No hassle. Or a way to keep in touch for when you do decide to sell it
2:35 I always HATED that style of speedometer cluster. The oil gauge was always more crooked than the fuel gauge because final Dashboard Design Submission happened to fall on Bring Your Toddler to Work Day. That toddler now works for GM and designs the cheaper pickups that are way too LOW in the front & too HIGH in the rear. Square fender flares, 2wd Z71s, & 5 cylinder H3s were his ideas too. Even the H3T (Hummer mini truck) had that same "face down, ass up, that's the way I like to be fucked" look. One of his most remarkable designs was the Pontiac Aztek. The Aztec was inspired by the real life event of wishing he could have a Half-Car, Half-Tent after being kicked out of his parents house at the age of 29 and wishing his Grand Am could SHIT a place to sleep. You can catch his latest work on the newer Suburbans, Tahoes, and Escalades where you might notice that slimming towards the rear window design. The concept was originally intended for funeral homes but was later applied to both living and dead consumer designs as market research projected hearse sales to be slim.
That fake ass wood veneer is so nasty. Maybe cool in the 80s and 90's but that shit has got to go. It aint a conversion van. Someone paid alot for that too.
No they're not converted gas engines. Biggest misconception about diesels. They are completely different and were built from the ground up 100% diesel. Now the Olds 5.7 diesel was in fact a converted gasser. But the 6.2 and 6.5 were definitely not

Beautiful 2 dr and work on the diesel engine to gorillaproof it?

Geez that old gmc radio is giving me flashbacks to my childhood.
I had a 95 Yukon GT, but I never knew they came with diesels!! Nice 😊👋

Thanks for your comment! also thanks for the info on the Pyrometer gauge haha. I would've never guessed that
Nice truck man
I got to get my Suburban that wood trim for the dash. It looks so much better with the wood.
Pyrometer is the exhaust temp. Also it wasn't charging.
Does the movement of the glass on these aftermarket tow mirrors work with the power window switch

I remember this one listed on eBay couple of times and wondered if it sold or not.
If you still have it for sale please let me know.
Thanks
I want this so bad 🤩
how do you manage the cargo area with only one door (rear-seats-down) (2D vs 4D) ?
I like everything except those fake wood stickers that I think someone else stuck on there. never seen another one with that plastic trim shit lol
I acually like how the fake wood looks.

Why sell it whyyy
Most of tgese cars have v8 motors. Only tge two door tahoes and yukons have tge 6 5 diesel motors well somevof them
I swear that that engine was modified.
Diesel stock are you sure??????
Yes, def a stock diesel. I have a 96 2 door with the 6.5 turbo diesel. They are fun.
