    As if these blazers werent uncommon enough, a diesel one?! thats awesome!

      Ikr. This model is low key the hardest thing out there. A two-door diesel Blazer or Yukon is just too cherry to put into words.

    • @RAMoore
      @RAMoore 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I think that they built such a very small amount I know they did because in 1994 you had to pay for the vehicle in full cash and once they got enough orders up they would turn the production line into making the 6.5 l turbo diesels to drop into the Blazer design so they had to completely rearrange this so once they built up enough orders then they changed the line build them all at one time delivering that's how they did it so there are very very few not many people will pay for a vehicle and wait one year for it to be delivered but I have one and it's the best one in vehicle that there is zero rust and the engine just runs better and better every day

    • @RAMoore
      @RAMoore 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah I've had two of them of it's actually hard to believe that actually had the fortunate enough to find the second one unbelievable I would buy everyone I could find

      @@RAMoore Here in Norway it's actually the other way around. You don't see the 5 door version of the older Tahoe (pre 2000), but it's not too difficult finding a 3 door with the 6.5 diesel

    That is standard shift point for the 4L80. All stock. My 96 shifts the same.
    I agree though, not a good idea to rev like that often. Keep R's low have a happy strong motor for a long time.

  • @RAMoore
    @RAMoore 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I understand them and they are one of the best engines built no doubt it's what they used in the Hummer from the H1 Hummer from 1992 until 2006 when they built the last one so I know they're good engines I have a Hummer with the same engine in this got 300,000 miles on it and it seems like the more miles it gets the better it drives the better it prevails

      I'm running a 93 GMC 3500 6.5 TD with 350k on it. Runs great. Very happy with it. Works hard all the time. Not a driver, but a worker.

    TDI = Turbocharged Direct Injection. Detroit Diesel V8 engines [6.2s and 6.5s] are IDIs - InDirect Injection. just a 6.5TD

    • @SkankRemix3
      @SkankRemix3 10 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Yes that is what TDI means, but that is a VW/AUDI copyrighted name.
      Any other brand Turbo Direct Injected would not be called a "TDI". VW/AUDI only.

  • @rondotrailer
    @rondotrailer  11 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Yes, BUT we have one better! All original paint, no rust through, from Oklahoma I think. But nice.
    Sorry, just found out that was sold. Darn, sorry. I really liked that one. Search rondotrailer and yukon and watch that one. We had it for a while. Thanks.

      @kennybeans6115 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, and in a way I can’t blame them for asking too much. This model is truly a diamond in the rough, and especially with the 6.5L TD makes it even more rare. If I had one, I wouldn’t even consider selling it. Seriously, if there was an truck I could have, it’s be a ‘93 or ‘94 Yukon or Blazer with the 6.5. Preferably two tone, navy with the silver in the middle and those factory baby blue pinstripes. All stock with the stock wheels of course with some nice M/Ts and that’s a wrap. Baddest truck on the road. GM wasn’t phuccing around in the 90s. LoL.

    • @kennybeans6115
      @kennybeans6115 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Why in the world would you want to sell it? That model you have is an icon, a cherry…..and a super rare one at that. Don’t sell it, or just sell it to me. LoL. If it’s in great condition and still entirely factory and original, who knows….maybe $15k, maybe in the twenties if mint. It depends. Any more details?

    I think it's time that you take this white perfect 6.5 Blazer and take it off the dam internet because it makes people that really want one go crazy over it and you talk forever about everything about you turn the turn signals on and it turns left and the lights flash you're telling us everything here and we just want one so bad so stop teasing us take the thing off if the damn thing is sold take it off the internet and get rid of it and stop showing it and making people think and try to get in touch with you

    • @rondotrailer
      @rondotrailer  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I think it's clear it's sold. There are many who want to see a piece of history in action. Yes, this video was made to sell it. But many enjoy it. Also it's reference for us. Hope that makes sense.
      So no, we won't take it down.

    I currently own this truck and is for sale on Ebay. More has been done to it since I purchased it. Sounds better now to, due to the 4 inch stainless steel exhaust I a shop made custom ;)
