Training Aslan to Pull

Jessie trains Aslan, her twelve month old service dog to pull a sulky. She had done considerable ground work with Aslan before this one day of filming. Because of this, when the sulky arrived, Aslan was ready to learn to pull the sulky. The next day, Jessie hitched both of her dogs to the sulky. Aslan learned very fast from the other dog.

my dog is very difficult to walk because he likes to pull so much. ive tried everything. hes an english bull terrier, just barely over a year old. so hes really strong, ive broken a few flip flops and gotten a few blisters trying to walk him. hes even broken a leash by pulling before. i would love to train him to do this sort of thing. i cant get the stuff now, but maybe in a year or so ill be able to get started! i think hed do very well, and its a great alternative to trying to walk him. i mean, hes slowly getting better about it, but i think he enjoys pulling lol. ill get a little tire sometime and see how he likes pulling it.
