Thank You for sharing! My only trip through Parson's Branch Rd. was back in 2016 just before they closed it down. The family member that joined me that day has since passed away. Looking forward to driving it again this October as you did last year. The fall colors certainly have been on our bucket list to enjoy. We typically go in the Spring but scheduled an extra trip this year for fall to enjoy the colors in Cade's Cove and Parson's Branch Rd. I remember only one vehicle passing us the last time. I am hoping your comment about several vehicles passing you is not a hint of what is about to come our way this time. That would be a shame as part of the enjoyment of this passage is the feeling that you are travelling back in time. And it must not be rushed. Also, we had plenty of time to stop and review some of the old growth trees that can be over 200 years old on this trip. We also intend to go to Fontana Dam as we did last time. The WWII Museum and gift shop there is of great importance for me to visit personally. The history of the dam and its contribution to providing power to the Manhattan Project is of great interest and enjoyment. I hope our day is as nice as yours was. Thank You.
Headed to Cades coves on the 5th of September and was wondering about this drive on Parson Branch Road with my truck.. After seeing your video I'm pretty confident my Tundra will be just fine. Thanks for the Video.
You will be fine. And it is one of the gems of the park. Try to go early to avoid the traffic. Do not go on Wednesday or Sunday. Monday and/or Tuesday will be the best days to go.
Ok cool. Thank you. Im actually staying at Cades cove. Gonna take Parsons trail on Tuesday and then ride my bike on Cades Cove loop on wednesday. Very excited, again thanks@@michaelmasserang8922

Beautiful fall drive. I need to go back down to cases cove to drive again on this Parsons branch road in late October when the leaves are in full fall color change.
Great video. Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful ! I am planning on driving this road on our late May vacation while we're camping in cades cove.
You will enjoy the ride and view
Drove a 4Runner without four wheel drive through it today and did fine.
Fun drive
Pretty much if it hasn’t rained much looks like you’d be able too 🤙🏽
Correct me if I'm wrong but it looks like I would be ok taking Parsons Branch in my older Toyota Highlander AWD. Nice video thanks for sharing!
Nice video! Just looks like a pretty innocuous gravel road to me. 🤷♂️
Very cool
cant wait to do this ourselves!
You will enjoy the ride
Was the road rougher in the past to have a warning like that?
