Clients were different from slaves. Clients were lower-class Roman citizens whose families were under the patronage of a senatorial family. Patronage in this case means the clients will always politically support their patron regardless of their own beliefs. In exchange, the patron is expected to support their clients in a number of ways, like advocating for the business rights of their clients, recommending their clients to government employment, support their clients on disputes against the clients of another patron, etc. Slaves, on the other hand, were non-citizens fully owned by the patrons.
tbh i would rather die than to live in Ancient Greece. Their ethics were so fucked up. Its very interesting to read about their mythology and history and poems, but we have to acknowledge that Ancient Greece was a shit place to live in
Julius Caesar was Augustus' great uncle, not his biological father. Caesar adopted Octavian (Augustus) as was customary for the time, as Octavian was his closest male relative. In fact, Caesar hardly knew Augustus and only adopted him posthumously. (Yes, I know. It was through his last will and testament.)
Also, I wouldn’t call Julius Caesar ‘infamous’. His dictatorship brought a considerable growth in Roman power and led to the transformation of Rome from Republic to Empire. But hard to think of him as ‘bad’ or ‘evil’…
"If you were particularly good with a sword or a bow, you might be hand-picked to climb the ranks as a Gladiator" - 100% false. Gladiators weren't soldiers picked from the Roman Army. They were enslaved people, forced to fight, or criminals spared execution and instead sent to Gladiatorial school as punishment.
That’s not true. People could sign up to be a gladiator if they wanted to. They also didn’t die as much as you think because they were expensive to train. Mostly prisoners of war got killed. Only later in the empire did execution become most popular.

I read once that Gladiator fights is the most well known entertainment of ancient Rome now. But, it wasn't the most well known entertainment of ancient Rome then - chariot racing was. That's e.g. because the Colosseum seated about 50000 people, whereas the largest Hippodrome, Circus Maximus, seated about 150000 people. And, there were also two other Hippodromes.
The weather and architecture look stunning. The fighting and struggles are a different matter. I love how lots of Latin words have gradually changed but can still be recognised. Latin - peace - pax. If you lived in Ancient Rome modern Rome you would see a lot more People of Actual Mediterranean Latin diaspora. Hate how North American society shows northern European diaspora instead. We are ethnically Latin sono Latino. and TRUE Latino men and women at that unlike the North American cultural negation and cultural theft that surrounds Latin identity as trending propaganda for social status to appear more desirable and more “exotic” due to cultural ignorance and due to intentional misappropriation as a fashion trend. Yes the cultura Latina historically comes from Italy whom Latinized Latin Europe. hence how Latina Italy got the historical Latin name LATINA. Racially we are Mediterranean. Genetically we have always been multi racial ethnic people due to our middle eastern (Asian), north African and Balkan gypsie DNA all mixed together. It’s literally our history which North America has tried to erase from us to enforce cultural assimilation. Also No culturally aware italian diaspora person actually believes Christopher Columbus discovered America. That is more North American propaganda and cultural erasure. Columbus Day is a Memorial Day for the largest mass lynching in the USA, which the victims were southern Italian true Latino sicilian men. You're confusing the patronage-clientele system with the servitude. Serfs were slaves; clients were free people who promised political endorsement to a richer person in exchange for their financial support. In Rome, everyone was someone's client, except the Emperor himself; but few people were serfs (slaves). A client's only obbligation was showing up to the _salūtātiōnēs_ and supporting their patrons politically, not any kind of forced labour, and they could leave or seek another patron whenever they wanted (although the former patron could punish them for leaving) whereas a slave was, well, a slave.
Whether it is ancient Rome or ancient Italy the middle class always faces hardship and the lower class people's lives are miserable while the rich enjoy their life with their money.

Don't know if you did this already. But what if humanity got shrunken by the size of a mouse. Pros: 1 We need less food, water, oxygen, fuel, space, resources, and electricity this will help the earth. 2 We can jump higher lift our weight even more and have unlimited stamina. 3 The Eiffel tower,Mount rushmore, burj khalifa, the leaning tower of pisa, mount Everest, and other huge buildings will be a lot bigger. 4 We can probably fly using sticks and paper. 5 Other animals that we wont genetically modify to be smaller specially elephants will be a lot cooler you can even ride an eagle if its tamed. 6 Space exploration will a lot easier. 7 Rats, mice, snakes, cockroaches, and other pest will have a hard time sneaking on us and eating our food. 8 Swimming, Parkour, marathons, football, and other sports will probably get easier. 9 Our bones are less likely to break meaning we can jump out the window get hit by a truck and others with little worries. 10 Imagine a giant fried, chicken burger, salad, cake, apple well you don't need to imagine anymore. 11 headlice's and fleas will probably go extinct. 12 mosquito's will be easier to detect. Cons: 1 We would easily preyed by birds and other carnivorous animals. 2 Our bodies would produce less heat. 3 There's a chance that we will produce more children which will harm the earth. 4 Cancer will be more dangerous to us. 5 The venom of and other venomous animals will be more dangerous to us. 6 Typhoons/Hurricanes, earthquakes, tornado's, tsunami's, will be more dangerous to us. 8 You those nanotechnologies designed to get into our bodies and deliver medicine yeah they will probably get harder to make. 9 Tarantulas... they suck. Somethings that may be good or bad: 1 Medical can be easier or harder. 2 Transportation can be easier or harder. 3 Music can be easier or harder.

First, in one of the few. Hahaha.
Don't know if you did this already. But what if humanity got shrunken by the size of a mouse.
Pros:
1 We need less food, water, oxygen, fuel, space, resources, and electricity this will help the earth.
Cons:
1 We would easily preyed by birds and other carnivorous animals.
9 Tarantulas... they suck.
Somethings that may be good or bad:
1 Medical can be easier or harder.
2 Transportation can be easier or harder.
3 Music can be easier or harder.
I’m Roman, roman through what ifs videos
I have an incredible suggestion. Make a video on what if we woke up in indus valley civilization.
Despite anything, they still have a civilized system than today
2nd century rome was the best era of rome
"Wash things down"
They ate until they were "full", too, and we know what that means.
It actually was not a culinary culture. You were best off with the nuts and fruit, the bread had dubious additives. And meat... well...
As soon as I saw Arries Judah Ben bur I was excited
