Jamie now consistently making time for a clean-up is just more proof of how much he's grown since the early episodes. I really believe he's shown the most growth amongst the normals. And his dish came out so well, I can't decide whether to be irritated or impressed. Well, given I'm a bit of Indian- Italian fusion myself- I guess, I just have to try this myself and find out!

Amazing video. I know Barry won the apron but I think it would be another interesting series idea where he has to defend it, with Jamie being the first challenger. He more than deserves the chance standing toe to with both Ben and Kush.
The entire town is on the edge of their barstools, eagerly pondering the grand unveiling of the Sorted pub - it's the most anticipated event since sliced bread learned to toast itself!

Since this has Kush's blessings equals to this will be something and will annoy a lot of people. Now I'm going to see if I'm right, (watches the video to the end). As to a possible answer to Ben's question to Mike wanting to make a long piece of pasta maybe a bowl of Ramen noodles?

Honestly guys, this has been my favorite video in awhile. Three friends in the kitchen roasting each other, a healthy pinch of Benuendos, and good food at the end. It's a recipe that will never fail.
idea for a future battle: plan and prep for a meal, and then make everyone rotate one spot to the right so they have to cook someone else's idea (a bit like Ebbers today but for everyone)
Sag Paneersagne 😂 is such a great idea! I can appreciate that cooking is about what tastes good not rigid adherence to what recipe was used for a arbitrary number of years beginning at an arbitrary date. If that was the case then no preparation of any food is really "traditional" because we used to just eat nuts and berries and raw meat. At some point someone was the first person to cook a lasagne or a spaghetti Carbonara or whatever, and it was "not traditional" when they did it because they were first.
Made a focaccia a couple days ago, let the dough rise for like two days. Munched on the edges with honey for breakfast, an then made tasty sandwiches with the rest. It's probably the best sandwiches I've ever had.
In all honesty: Watching your videos is one of the things that cheers me up no matter my mood. I am having a not oi good day, but seeing you guys on my screen with your energy, your ideas, your puns... It just makes my day a bit better.
My thoughts, just under 3 minutes in: - Jamie: This 2nd Generation Italian-American is fine w/you calling that lasagna. Yours won’t be my grandmother’s lasagna, and that’s okay. 🤓❤️ Barry: Massive kudos for using the correct form of the word “ravioli”, which, if you’ve got just one, is “raviolo”. Ben: Thanks for always being the team player and covering for Mike!
Honestly all three looked outstanding. All of you guys seemed to be in control (for the most part) with very little flapping. Kudos to Ben for getting thrown in there with someone else's idea and making something that looked delicious. I do have to give it to Jamie though. His just looked like something I could eat over and over and never get tired of it.
Laughing with bazz is fun at all but i like to put in my own 2 cents: Barry has earned that apron and having worked within the industry for many years and seeing the advances Barry has made through the years. He truly won the apron! Sure he will do a barry and think too much outside the box every now and then but that's what makes him special! YOU ROCK BAZZ!
Gonna have to vote for Jamie! Love all the flavors he put in there, and while it's very far from a traditional version of any of those dishes, it still looks incredibly tasty.
It would be interesting to have the chefs fill the fridge with random/unexpected ingredients and the normals come up with what they want to cook before seeing the ingredients available. Then they have to stick to what they wanted to cook but adapt based on the ingredients. It’s sort of like unplanned battle but a little different?
Since Barry said he made the poop emoji (once he pulled it out of the water), I cannot see it otherwise. Then the bits on the end as garnish made me think of flies 😂
I love the idea of Ben or Kush being given ingredients and a weird idea from the normals and asked to make it on the spot. Wonder if there could be a video idea from that.
Oh man ebbs bringing the"sassy boy" to the kitchen today!! Love it. Who's taking bets on Barry being defrocked of the apron. The sous chef has, so far been a pous chef!!

In terms of technique required I feel like Jamie's was the simplest. That is not to say Ben and Barry did not execute their tougher techniques, but as far as the most complete, good looking, well balanced dish I think Jamie's dish gets the win. Now give him the red apron already.
I think the win goes to Jamie, but I’d love to try Mike/Ben’s dish (minus the whole provolone part - a bowl would suffice). I’d like to try Barry’s if the recipe and method were developed a bit more.
I think both Barry and Jamie deserve a “brownie point or badge” in this battle. Even though those don’t exist anymore. Lol 😅 Jamie for winning and making a very delicious dish. Will surely love to try and eat that lasagna dish! Then Barry for his creative and out of the box thinking. Making a dessert pasta is very unique but risky. However he pull it off so great job.
Philadelphian here: You can do whatever cheesesteak inspired thing you want. We won't be bothered until you start trying to pass it off AS a cheesesteak. I can't imagine caring if you "really understand and appreciate" the original, but you do have to know what ingredients and major techniques actually go in something or very don't, cheesesteak or otherwise, in order to make anything inspired by it. This easily fits the bill on the cheesesteak front but will probably confuse the cheese-wheel-pasta folks.
Thank you for the video! By the way its kindof random but I wonder if you can make a challenge (maybe) to use 1 whole plant as a theme? That would be awesome. For example cooking several dishes starring banana, banana stem, banana blossoms etc etc. Papaya, papaya leaves, papaya flowers etc etc.
The way Ben goes from innuendo to self-deprecation in under 10 seconds is my brand of humor. Ben's/Mike's dish sounds great... Would love to see Mike have to actually cook it up without any help... To compare against what Ben made...

Jamie's definitely my winner, too, despite me being a huge fan of pasta alla ruota. The problem with the latter is, it's pretty much impossible to make at home without wasting tons of cheese (and buying whole wheels of cheese is also not that easy for most of us, or practical. Who's got the storage for that?) Team Mike & Ben is my second place, because I love pasta alla ruota, and this twist looks and sounds absolutely delicious. Barry comes third, I find his dish rather confused, despite it being innovative.
I love combining pasta and anything tomato based! So Jamie gets my final vote as well! I think as a concept/novel idea- Barry's is the most interesting, but also seems difficult to potentially execute. Mike's seems like a safe and done deal (not sure if it tastes better/texture better than Barry's) but putting a hole into bread and filling it with pasta isn't unheard of (like a sausage roll but instead its pasta and bread.
Jamie for the Win! Although for outside the box, the dessert one is an amazing idea that could be improved on! The philly steak was going to be good no matter what, but is pretty standard flavors.
Jamie's is definitly the one i would want to try if i had to choose one! looks fascinating in a dependable package. I could picture how the others trasted but that I would need to try to know.
@@FrostedCreationsI believe it means that Mike was supposed to be doing it, but was sick or otherwise occupied. And that they didn’t have time to fully prepare (see: Jamie had to get something out of the fridge rather than buy a new cheese, Mike didn’t order ingredients, etc.).
A couple ideas for future episodes: 1) Revisit previous Pass It On themes, particularly the failed ones! Can they succeed, with another try? (The Tapas one comes to mind!) 2) Bring Kush in for a Food Scraps Challenge! Kush really has a flair for coming up with something on the fly with whatever is on hand, and it'd be fantastic to see his chaotic crazy creative energy brought to play with whatever food scraps the Normals offer him from their dishes! (And whatever he's likely to steal from them! LOL)

Mike's seems like a safe and done deal (not sure if it tastes better/texture better than Barry's) but putting a hole into bread and filling it with pasta isn't unheard of (like a sausage roll but instead its pasta and bread.
Barrys apron is such a blessing AND curse right guys?! 😅😅😅😅😅😅
seems like he's lost everything since getting it?
Ever since Barry became “sous chef” Jamie has LEVELED UP his game. Like dang dude.
Lads , please dont use AI to make your mock ups, please pay someone to draw them, we know it costs money but support artists please.❤ 1:12
yes please do pay an artist, AI food looks like weird alien vom food
I'd love to try all three. I bet they're amazing in their own way. Great job guys! ❤
7:38 Ben's cartoon laugh at Jamie's pasta got me laughing too...
Jamie for the Win!
Although for outside the box, the dessert one is an amazing idea that could be improved on!
The philly steak was going to be good no matter what, but is pretty standard flavors.
"That sounds like something I vomited when I was seven..." 😂
Jamie's is definitly the one i would want to try if i had to choose one! looks fascinating in a dependable package. I could picture how the others trasted but that I would need to try to know.
Only a couple minutes in, but how unplanned is it when Ebbers is doing a dish that Mike apparently planned out? Conspiracy! Dun-dun-dun!
That also confused me. What exactly does unplanned mean?
@@FrostedCreationsI believe it means that Mike was supposed to be doing it, but was sick or otherwise occupied. And that they didn’t have time to fully prepare (see: Jamie had to get something out of the fridge rather than buy a new cheese, Mike didn’t order ingredients, etc.).
A couple ideas for future episodes:
1) Revisit previous Pass It On themes, particularly the failed ones! Can they succeed, with another try? (The Tapas one comes to mind!)
2) Bring Kush in for a Food Scraps Challenge! Kush really has a flair for coming up with something on the fly with whatever is on hand, and it'd be fantastic to see his chaotic crazy creative energy brought to play with whatever food scraps the Normals offer him from their dishes! (And whatever he's likely to steal from them! LOL)
4:31 Quote of the day by ebbers: Im just shaving my bottom😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Barry's confused face behind Ben was perfection.
So the ball doesn’t roll around too much 😂
Its very interesting to see how the chefs interprets menu made up on the fly by the normals and "sous-chef". Seeing this and seeing the usual huttlestorm made me wonder how would chefs approach the bizzare menu ideas thought up by the normals
As an indian J all i have to say is you are very brave very brave you took two of my favourites and now i will cry until i know what that tastes like 😢
Jamie wins.
I had an idea for a dish years ago, which I've never actually realised. It's a version of nachos, but the tortilla chips are replaced with poppadum and the dressing / filling is obvious.
Go for it Jamie!
Another easy Jamie W, to this day I am convinced Barry only got the apron because he would have kicked up the most stink if he had lost.
Ben calling out Barry 😂 I have said that since day 1 the apron was handed out. Barry only knows desserts, Jamie only understands proteins.mike imo has the most well-rounded skill set
