Fun fact: The laughing sprite is actually an edited version of one that was unused in the Sonic 2 (Game Gear) prototype. I would recommend Sonic ERaZor, it's really fun and challenging.

Fun fact: his laughing/standing still animation is based off of an unused sprite from the 8 bit sonic games that featured him doing his idle animation while laughing, thats why his death sprite looks wacky.

All changes
1. Enemy knockback is greatly increased.
2. Spikes always kill sonic regardless of whether he has rings. (Only normal spikes, as we saw, sonic didn't die from touching the spike roller thing, I hope you know what I mean.)
3. Special stages are removed. (Although I don't know if you can still access them from the level select, but you probably can.)
4. All zones other then green hill zone are inaccessible. (Although, yet again, you can probably still access them from the level select.)

I would definitely recommend Snolf as well, it's actually really fun imo (better than any golf game I've ever played). Especially the SRB2 mod since it's 3d (and therefore more accurate to actual golf).

This fangame is inspired by two unused sprites from the Sonic 2 Game Gear/ Master System port, which is where the death sprite comes from, but has Sonic’s color palette from the Sega Genesis.

Quick edit: there is a rom hack of sonic 2 where if tails is next to an enemy he begs sonic for help, but I don't know what it's called. I saw the hack on a TH-cam channel named shadowserg where he has a few videos about goofy sonic hacks.
