All handheld with RED Scarlet-X Canon mount Al

ISO 800
Compression 10:1
Shutter speed was 1/100 to counter the fluorescent flickering.
Canon 35mm f2 and Tokina 19-35mm f3.5-4.5.
The last 7 shots were on the Tokina, hence the underexposure.
Next time, I'll bring some lights!

Aidan is a great teacher. Trains hard himself and loves see others do the same. Explains things really clearly. No ego about him at all. I trained in this club for a couple of years and loved it. One thing you can't appreciate in this clip is how hard Aidan can hit. The punches may seem to be just arm punches, but when you hold the pads for him you feel their power.
I've only recently started training with this man. He's a great teacher. No ego or delusions. I have a physical disability and he makes the effort to work around my disability which allows me to keep training.

Alot of people here seem uneducated when it comes to self defense look at how the footage is slowed down and how fluid there motions are there reactions are top notch and when it comes down to it in a hostile environment your reaction time is vital

Really nice video and excelent music
Nice! Truly a master. There are many existing excellent martial arts. It's not a question of best art but the best art you can master. Movements similar to Arnis and Combat Aikido. The exercises are also similar. Good technique but sometimes good technique is overwhelmed by speed and power. None the less, wing tsun techniques are very effective.

good snapshot of a training situation'; all teh unaware audience need to bear in mind is - these are drills... not sparring... respect to the individuals in that school. Looks like a nice bunch to work with, and they are having fun - which is the main thing, isnt it.

if you have control, you dont need mats. if you can fall, you dont need mats. wing chun fighters can fall, and they can control how hard the falling opponent goes down. I know from experience, i never missed a mat - i fell many times :-)

the opponent could actually while he is being suppressed. its only a matter of reaction.

If the guy doin the round kick is strong with his kicking and knows what he is doin, he will definitly hurt or even break his arm the defenders arm.

vielleicht sollte man, wenn man schon in der falschen sprache antwortet, wenigstens so clever sein, mal these, argument und beispiel zu einer einheit verschmelzen zu lassen. oder anders gesagt: beantworte mal die "w-fragen", wenn du hier was sagen willst. und begreif am besten auch noch, dass das hier ein DEMO video ist.
guter argumentationsstrang! mein argument lautet: schlecht, demo video hin oder her! aber ja, ist auf jeden fall lobenswert, dass sich ein alter mann fit hält, mit was auch immer!

was heisst hier keyboard warrior? ich bin es ja nicht der hinter einem pseudonym versteckend andere leute beleidigt ohne sie zu kennen. Ich betreibe wing chun/wing tsun seit 1991 - habe seit 1995 selber trainiert. Um es mal mit deinen Worten zu sagen, Du kannst gerne mal vorbeikommen und dann sparren wir mal ne runde....
