  • This is just a short glimpse of many thousand hours of receiving teaching over the years in my Sifu’s house.
When you join www.taijiandqi... you will - apart from weekly instructive videos - also get a chance to watch many of my private training sessions at my teachers homes or in my home, all the way back from the beginning of the 1990s.

At 10 minutes, this is called 'kote-gaeshi' in aikido and at 11.15, this is called 'san-kyo'. Basic. Also found in chinna.

Fantastic! Thank you for sharing. This is at the highest level like watching Michael Jordan play Basketball. Nothing else compares.

Where did he get yiquan from? From what I know Han only taught a few sessions in San Francisco.

is something at like 10:28 tai chi related or just a body lock/jiu jitsu type of hold? I'm very interested in learning internal martial arts but not so keen on trying to memorize different lock holds.

It is one of the applications of "Needle at the bottom of the Sea". It is not so much a technique - the important thing is "the machine" behind and sinking the Qi.

@@exploringtaiji I don't see how..when I used to take jiu jitsu we would practice pretty much the same exact joint locks
