Habe vor 17 Jahren mit WT aufgehört und denke immer gerne an diese Zeit. Mit Sifu auf einem Lehrgang trainiert, hat mich geprägt. Guter Mann 👍

Warum guter Mann? Weil er weiß wie man Schüler abzockt?
Ich hatte persönlich das Vergnügen, mit Kerni eine Übung zu machen, und er wies mich an, einen speziellen Angriff zu machen. Er wusste also, was kommt. Im Gegensatz zu den Leuten in den Videos habe ich ihn aber mit allem was ich hatte angegriffen, und er hat es 1 A pariert. Also er ist gut in dem, was er macht. Reicht das für die Strasse? Gegen Otto-Normalverbraucher kann man sich damit verteidigen, gegen ausgebildete Kämpfer - zB Boxer, Ringer oder BJJ-Leute, die das erst seit 2-3 Jahren machen, oder kampferprobte Ghettoschläger - keine Chance. Dafür ist das WT zu sehr im Stand ohne Beinarbeit. Aber WT macht Spaß, ist gesund und man kann es bis ins hohe Alter betreiben. Mir wäre Boxen zB viel zu anstrengend und zu hart. Ich habe aber mit WT aufgehört, weil mir das Gefasel der EWTO auf den Sack ging, die WT Leute wären die Größten. Außerdem wurde das klassische WT immer mehr zugunsten anderer Techniken aufgegeben. Der neueste Schrei ist jetzt "Kan-Ki-Fu", sein "Magic Hands". Das taugt im Kampf erst recht nichts. Aber alle seine Jünger tragen jetzt im Unterricht T-Shirts mit "Magic Hands" Aufdruck. Das ist alles eine unschöne Entwicklung.
Auf den Punkt gebracht. Es ist gut um in Bewegung zu bleiben, und wenn es einem noch Spaß macht, umso besser. Aber man soll definitiv aufhören, WT in Verbindung mit der Selbstverteidigung oder Kampfsport zu bringen. Ich finde es sogar gefährlich, weil es tatsächlich Leute gibt die 15-20 Jahre lang WT trainieren, ohne ein eigenes Mal ein richtiges Vollkontakt-Sparring gemacht zu haben, und sind aber davon überzeugt, einen Mike Tyson schlagen zu können.
Mann muss es nicht aufhören mann muss einfach eine kung fu schule finden die wing chun unterichtet und das richtige wing chun und nicht eine weiter entwickelte art der selbstverteidigung.
wing chun kann man sehr wohl in Verbindung mit Selbtverteidung bringen, aber eben nur mit Sparring etc. das was man hier sieht ist ja Verarsche@@maxpower9253

Auf YT gibts einige Showkämpfe wogegen ein WTler gegen MMA oder anderer Sportarten kämpft und auch oft nicht dabei gut aussieht den Kampf zu gewinnen!

Nicht einer greift ihn richtig/realistisch an. Absolut unglaubwürdig.
In einen echten kampf nützen solche techniken wenig.. sind halt selbstverteidigungs standart situationen.. will man sich effektiv verteidigen und realistisch kämpfen lernen , sollte man ins boxen / thai boxen oder mma gehen.. dort lernt man auch einstecken.. ein wing tsung kämpfer weiss nicht wie es sich anfühlt hart getroffen zu werden und wie man damit umgeht.. habe selber kung fu und karate trainiert aber erst als ich ins mma ging, lernte ich richtig und realistisch zu kämpfen.

@Der Magier wer ist hier der internet rambo? Ich habe nur meine erfahrung geschildert. Klassische kampfstile sind nunmal nicht so effektiv wie mma. Das hat man spätestens in den ersten ufc's gesehen. Bruce lee hatte damals schon erkannt das wing chung und karate viel heisse luft produzieren. Wenn wing tsung für dich das richtige ist bitte. Aber wenn du ehrlich zu dir bist weisst du das die gezeigten techniken in diesem video nicht viel in einen echten kampf bringen.

Chi Sau - what you're seeing here - has its place but it's not fighting, it's building your muscle memory to react to any kind of contact your arms make, and when contact is made, instinct takes over. You see WT guys doing all sorts of things and you think "how is that supposed to be useful" - it's a drill. The application of Chi Sau lasts for about a second. In a real fight, the chance may never present itself, but if it does, it has to be all muscle memory and feeling for it to work.

An entire generation of clowns believing that chi sau has something to do with full contact sparring. Boxing will never die. Chi sau might die instead. Boxing will always be the base of any combat while people like Leung Ting and Kernspecht have taught an entire generation how to loose any fight in the cage of MMA. Muay Thai has never failed either.
Bullcrap ive seen muay thai fail miserably even against wing chun personally so i dont buy anything you’re saying. Wing chun has been adapted for some MMA fights and even won but then again MMA is a sport match in a cage where there are rules so that limits you if you do that. Wing Chun applied can be deadly. Even Silat or Kali has more application then dumb old MMA stuff

Einer dieser Meister, ein Vize Weltmeister im Full Contact Karate (vorläufer des Kick Boxen) beleidigte Kimura mehrfach an einem Budo Fest in New York. Nun, Kimura hatte schon ein paar Biere getrunken und unterhielt sich mit der Schweizer Delegation seiner Schüler, darunter Steve Lunt, 2 facher Schweizermeister. Als der Vize Weltmeister wieder mal vorbeikam und blöde Sprüche klopfte, stellte Kimura sein Bierglas hin, drehte sich zu dem Mann um uns sagte ihm, er solle raus, in den Hinterhof gehen und sich aufwärmen. Kimura trank dann noch zwei Bier, stand auf und ging, nicht mehr ganz nüchtern, nach draussen. Seine schweizer Schüler hinterher. Als sie in den Hinterhof kamen sahen sie, wie der Full Contact Vize Weltmeister seine Aufwärmübungen absolvierte. Kimua rief ihm zu, ob er ready sei. Der Typ kam angetänzelt und als er Angriff schlug Kimura ihn mit einem Mae Geri (gerader Fusstritt) auf die Bauchmuskeln, zu Boden. Kimura hatte mit solchen Tritten auch schon Schülern durch Schlagpolster, Rippen gebrochen Der Typ krümmte sich vor Schmerzen und blieb liegen. Kimura drehte sich um, ging zurück zum Fest um noch einige Biere zu trinken. Steve Lunt, 2facher Schweizermeistern sagte zu mir, er habe nicht gesehen, ob Kimura mit dem linken oder rechten Bein geschlagen hat.
Der Vize Weltmeister hat es offensichtlich auch nicht gesehen. Kimura hatte immer wieder mal Herausforderungen. Er hat die Sache immer mit Mae Geri bereinigt. Besiegt wurde er dann allerdings leider vom Tabak und Alkohol. Er ist mit 56 Jahren an Herzinfarkt gestorben.
Du denkst, nur was Du trainierst ist gut und alle anderen sind schlecht. Nun, das hat dieser Vize Weltmeister auch gedacht. Er hat sich wohl geirrt. Auch der ehemalige Boxer, der an einer Full Contact Weltmeisterschaft von meinem Lehrer, mit einem Gyaku Tsuki (gerader Fauststoss) getroffen wurde und nachdem er nach 17 Minuten immer noch Bewusstlos war, in das Krankenhaus überführt wurde, hat sich wohl in unserem Karatestil geirrt.
Ich würde sagen, echte Kämpfer wie Boxer, MMA, Kickboxer, Thai Boxer etc. die schon viele echte Kämpfe im Ring oder auf der Straße hatten würden sagen: Wing Tsun wunderschöne Techniken für TV TH-cam, Dojo aber Oberkatastrophe in jedem Kampf.

@@TheBlablabla95 das kann jeder denken wie er möchte, aber für mich war es immer gut. In 50 Jahren hat noch niemand meine Nase gebrochen, und das zählt. Ihr vergleicht immer die besten Kampfsportler aus verschiedenen Techniken mit Wing Tsun, dabei vergesst ihr immer das ein Kampf eine Moment Aufnahme ist. Es gewinnt niemals eine Technik sondern der Mensch der es am meisten will. Die Frage ist,was macht der Kampfsportler wenn er nicht mehr im Training ist, wenn der Bierbauch wächst und die Knochen nicht mehr wollen. In dem Moment funktioniert vieles nicht mehr. Niemand auf dieser Welt ist der Beste. Es gibt niemanden mit 100% Siege, egal aus welchem Training er kommt. In diesem Sinne bleibt gesund 🤘

When I see this video I remember the time I practiced Wing Tsun, I really didn't understand this Chinese martial art back then. But in my defense, nobody at the Wing Tsun school explained it properly to me. I'm sorry to say, but this video shows real garbage. I don't blame other martial arts practioners for laughing out loud when they see this. For god sake people, come to your senses and find another Wing Chun style (preferably Philipp Bayer 🙂), or just find a good gym where you can learn some kick boxing for my part. Even chinese cooking lessons will prepare you better for a fight than this 'Klatschspiele'. I feel so lucky that I quit this nonsens. So I started looking for something better and I found a school that teaches Ving Tsun (Wong shun leung/Philipp Bayer style.) where I found out that I knew nothing, they really slapped me silly. But from day 1 they explained the principals, are very patient with me, let me work very hard and train me to fight. It took me 6 months to unlearn this Wing tsun crap.

@@johnwheeler3019 Yes, this guy obviously never fights. That does not mean that a talent can not understand the concept of what he tries to do, and comprehend it better through experience from fighting practice.
He's a very interesting man, I've trained with him many times and can tell you from experience that he is an amazing fighter. But at his age fighting in the streets or in bars is a long time behind him. He is also a master of multiple other martial arts ( 6 or more ) so to write his knowledge off as crap, says more about you than it does of him. Perhaps attend a seminar of his and listen to what he says. That way you can make an informed judgement. As for real WT, he is second only to Leung Ting, who is the founder of WT ( Wing Tsun ) so I would say he's about as real as they come. Granted he has adapted the style recently to suit his methods, but someone with as much experience as him is probably entitled to do so. No disrespect to you, I hope you find, or have found a style that works for you. But keyboard fu is definitely the most useless of all martial arts.
