We visited Scotland for the first time last year, Edinburgh is very historic and photogenic but Inverness has some of the friendliest people I have ever met, we fell in love with the place, and we're English! 😅 We intend to return one day!
Hi wee Kev.I.N, how times change, I went to Inverness as a teen all the way from Yorkshire with George a pal of an uncle in his minivan. Overnight journey. This was long before any updated roads and stopped at a traveller/trucker cafe in Perth for bacon rolls for breakfast. Stayed a few days at his folks house, then that longggg journey back south. I don't think I would remember any of 'Ness these days. Cheers DougT
Inverness is quite possibly the friendliest place I've been, my wife and I spent our 40th wedding anniversary nearby last September and were lucky enough to have beautiful weather and visited some great places and viewed some of the best scenery in Scotland/UK we can't wait to return 🏴🏴
Love Inverness had 4vday break as Scotland is a lovley place n people are ,iv never seen so many big nice weatgerspoons in one place ha was about 6 years ago ,really want go bck thanks kevin
Kevin nice to here the accordion getting mentioned looks like a place full of character however you must be feeling cold after where you've come from Porridge in the Morning. Beautiful. David
@@ScotsmaninTenerife Hi Kevin tuck into that Porridge will ya i have it every morning 2 full bowls and 4 cups of tea as good as anything As i said to you my real favorite place is Tenerife and Benidorm not far behind i play the Accordion and have being greatly influenced by the many truly great players you have in Scotland and the melodies of Scotland which i play most nights Those Tunes are known the world over believe you me All the best Kevin David
The most beautiful place in my opinion was Portree on the Isle of Skye, then it's a tie between Oban and Inverness. The third would be Dundee/St. Andrews.
Inverness is more than pubs! It is the Capital of the Highlands and is a beautiful place to visit. I was born there and moved to the far East I’ve never been in a bar there (ok Cale Ballroom when I was 15 😉) but have gone home many times to visit…
I live in Inverness, it is good for a weekend out. But there isnt a lot to actually do in the town centre apart from eating and getting pished! ...aye, good for a weekend.
Mr.McNally, you're spot on, you should have visited sooner Inverness is beautiful the pride of the Highlands, but enough of this travel nonsense. A young fella is feeling unwell, goes to the doctor, he does a test then tells him he has an STD, lad says "I must have caught it from a toilet seat ", doctor says "well, you must have been eating it cause it's in your mouth ". Great video as always kid, take care.
