Not just "Trump's rhetoric". It's all of them. Polarization has become key to winning, much like a sports championship. And WINNING has become the endgame, not governing our once great nation. All both parties want is the trophy, not what's best for the people. Wallace was a Democrat most of his career.

What? 50 years ago? You guys are so pitiful. How many homes for the homeless has any conservative built with his own hands? President Jimmy Carter was the most honest, most humane President ever. The work he has done for Habitat Humanity over all these decades since he left office has ACTUALLY followed the teachings of Jesus. How did the Republican Party lose its soul? Or did it ever have one?

Not much about Donald Trump in this video, its nearly all George Wallace. There are also a lot of differences between Trump and Wallace with the most notable one being that Wallace was involved in racial issues. But it is true that they both dislike Liberals, but then again there are a lot of people who fit into that category.

@@kentstallard6512Wallace literally dropped that whole shtick - - he's an opportunist with zero principles, like other politicans. And calling Trump a "White Christian Nationalist" while he actively campaigns for non-white support and has done things for the black community such as prison reform is very cute. Wallace would've never done "prison reform".

It's the ideology. Listen to the rhetoric.
Every Trump rally features Confederate and Nazi iconography. Not a fringe element but the core base.
Wallace was a racist who pretended not to be when it was no longer politically expedient and wanted to clean up his image before kicking the bucket.
Trump and his slumlord father wouldn't rent to Blacks and minorities in the 70s. The fact that the Orange Grifter panders on occasion to minorities is nothing more than a political ploy.
