Finally I got very helpful channel for pharmacy nice explanation about freeze dryer...👍
I want to freeze dry a biomaterial for my research work. This video help me to know things about that.
Could someone please help explain the Vacuum pressure required 50 mmHg? every gauge i find on Ebay goes from 0 to -30 Hg thanks.
Sir are all sterile manufactured products only in the form of injectables??? like no cream and all?
Freeze drying is an expensive and complicated process. This increases additional price of the product. That’s why it is only done in case of rare medicines like in cancer treatment.
I'm trying to lyophilize peptides I froze peptide at -50 for 12 hours then primary 24 hours my samples just stay as liquid 11grams mixed with 260mls of water
You not a scientist are u

Thankuu so much sir for this great explanation ......

Hi Pharmacy in depth
I have question about Freeze Drying, by the way:
In 4:41, Freeze drying can maintain shape and form BUT conventional drying has shape and form shriveled. -> Could you explain it ?
I hope I would receive your answer soon.
Thanks Pharmacy in depth so much.
Thanks for the question dah Cari.
In conventional drying process, drying takes place as a result of evaporation from liquid to gas state which gives a shriveled appearance upon drying.
Whereas in freeze drying process, drying takes place as a result of sublimation from solid to gas state. So in solid state the degree of freedom of molecules is lower than in case of liquid state. Hence they remain fixed in a specific position and orientation in case of solid, giving a non-shriveled appearance upon drying.
@@pharmacyindepth9715 "drying takes place as a result of evaporation from liquid to gas state which gives a shriveled appearance upon drying."
I guess the shriveled create because
+ When evaporation from liquid to gas, create empty space in materials and the force between material will be appearanced and create shriveled.
3/ Is this a right thought ?
I hope I would receive your answer soon.
Thanks Pharmacy in depth so much.
Yes right.
@@pharmacyindepth9715 thanks so much.
does lyophilization only happen for aseptically manufactured products? or for terminal as well?
Both

You really need to talk slower with such a very heavy accent. It's not English if it's not recognizing any words.
Great Video … thanks for making this
😊
Thanks brother, you revise all things in a good way...
How cold must a substance be @ -1 atm?
Will I get your reference about condition of lyophilization , please ?
Thanks for watching the video. I did not get your question clearly. Can you please repeat it?
Nice 👍
i turned it off , try to speak clearly
Thanks
Nice
Very helpful 😀😀😊
It's little faster
Adjust the play back speed according to ur speed of understanding
समझाने का तरीका बिलकुल ही जीरो है
ऐसा तो किताबों में लिखा हुआ ही है
How to communicate with you
secondary drying basically just serves the function of removing residual water?
Yes right.
You're thumbnail has the arrows from sublimation and deposition switched
This would be great if it were in English.
This is English only, in Indian accent.
