Basic as hell lol but low miles for a great price from an elderly neighbor of mine. 4inch basic ass screen 😂 with no fog lights 🙄 no window tints no nothing just basic 🤣 Nicest thing on the car was the unscratched black paint and an immaculate black interior 😊… Had the car 4 months and I’ve been all over eBay and Amazon looking for affordable mods. Found this fog light setup, harness and switch. I literally just got done with installation and all went well with the help from your video. I didn’t order the OE Harness or Switch but I will be soon just to clean it up a bit and make it look nice! Thanks man

Outstanding video…clear explanation and good camera work. I just finished this job and it was as easy as could be. Thanks for the correct part numbers as well! The lights I ordered from eBay came with the bolts and clips to secure them, so no need for zip ties.

If you already got the fog lights housing on your car and all you want to do is replaced the housing would u just have to plug and play instead of buying all the extra stuff? I already got fogs lights but I want to add those LED housings and would I have to connect those to a harness?
@@ryandaniels2686 Yeah, if your talking about installing the housings with the led running lights, you'll need to tap into something that has power when the car is on.
Do u know if I can replace my 2014 Fusion fog lights with these 2017s New kind fog lights? The 2014 are this Round ones and the new style are kinda square/rectangular style, but I don't know if the new ones will fit
I called the Ford dealership and they asked for my Vin and said even with the wire harness and switch the fog light wouldn't work and that I'd have to splice in some where for it to work. I'm gonna assume from your previous comment it's about the fog light indicator on the dash that there saying won't work unless I splice in. Also going to assume you has to put a fuse in the fuse box for them to be used.
+chris dutra The dealership uses the vin to look up specific part numbers. You are correct though you'd probably have to splice some wires to get the dash light to work, it wasn't a big deal to me so I didn't worry about it. You don't need to add a fuse or anything else to make the fogs work.

You posted 1 year later that the chrome inside the fog lights melted. I found a good fix for that problem. Yeah it's a $130ish fix but FOG LIGHT - Ford (4F9Z-15200-AA) that's the part number you need that will bolt right into the assembly kit you got and that's a Motorcraft part so you know it will work right.
I talked about it in the top speed video, but I’m not 100% sure when they burnt up, but I know they didn’t last long. Thanks for the part number. I think it’s about time I upgraded my fogs lol.
@@RvaJay all you need is the small assembly everything else is useable by the factory part and thank you for the video because I am a newspaper carrier and I use my fusion for work and the last 2 days (time of replying) has been fog hell but I'm very curious what you thought about your night time driving with LEDs in your factory headlamps. I'm using the silverstar zxe golds and their amazing but because of my job I'm changing bulbs ever 3-4 months and I'm sick of ripping my front bumper off every 3-4 months just to change bulbs I dont have a garage so man.......its cold as hell or hot as hell in Oklahoma.....I'm curious about the throw distance of the LEDs because I do alot of playing dodge the deers and boar and I need something that has good distance plus lasts a long time
@@ricosuava21 The LEDs have been good to me so far, and I haven't had any issues. I'll do a video and compare my head lights and a car with factory LEDs. There's not much difference.

The beauty of using Oem Ford parts. The new switch only adds the connections and the button for the fogs. Everything else on the on the button is the same

Hey man, The bolt above the clips in the fender liner. Is that the only bolt needed to pull out the sides. Or is there another clip under there. I'm talking about where the fender and front cover meet. Thanks
Was there any way in particular you were able to remove the push clips from the inside of the fender lining without breaking them? I didn’t want to pull of the rest after already snapping one leg off of one of the clips.
Hello mate, i have the same car, just want to knoe if you had any problems in the past years, with your car maybe any flickering with the install of the fog lights. Your answer is important because I knoe our cars are very complicated, and I just don't want to mess up my fusion
So those plugs that you unplugged from the car that is attached to the bumper are now on the new harness? So the harness that's on the bumper is no longer needed?
Since you used zip ties to hold the fog brackets to the bezel/bumper do you have any issue with the lights bouncing or rattling because they aren’t fastened with bolts?

I got a 15' Focus that I want to install fog lights on. The set I'm looking at is on eBay too. Will it be the exact same way as yours? It looks like it to me 🤔 because the Focus is just lil smaller. I have the exact Same light switch on the side.

I did an update in another video, but the fogs themselves are junk. Everything else is fine, and I wouldn’t recommend oem for anything else but the lights.
The harness is listed as 2013-2015 Ford Fusion Parking Fog Light Distance Control Wire Harness OEM NEW. Jst make sure it has the letter B or C or the end of the part number and it'll work. Btw, it was $27 shipped

Did you have to purchase the fog light bezels RH&LH, bracket RH&LH and the lights together as a package or each separately?
The kits should include all the hardware you need, (at least mine did). You only need to buy the harness and the switch for the inside.

It was a kit from eBay. They’re several available. You can also check amazon. Try to find a complete kit.

If your car already has fogs, you don't need anything else but the new led part. You will have to wire the leds in to come on with the running lights.

I don't remember exactly, there's not much holding the fender liner on though.

You don’t need to take power anywhere. Just replace the original harness with the new one.

I used a flat head screwdriver, they do make a special panel tool that you can use as well.

Unless Ford sells them as a set in their accessories subdomain, then you'll have to buy the pieces separately.

There isn't any wiring with this setup. All you have to do is remove the harness that's already there and replace it with the new one

The switch is basically plug n play. All you have to do is replace the harness behind the bumper for it to work

I'd imagine the install would be similar. Ford is fairly consistent. They use the same light switch in many cars.

It made perfect sense. This was one of my first videos, and I wanted to add some flare. Clearly I made the wrong choice lol.
