I'd definitely recommend soldering the connections if you can. I installed the rear bumper reflector lights and I soldered all the connections. I should have tested all the wires with one of those test lights you have because only the parking lights work. I went off a picture of the wiring diagram that someone posted on Fusion 2g forums. But I could have saved myself some time if I had used a test light. It's easy enough to unsolder the wires and switch them if I care that much about it.
I totally agree. But reason i used electric tape is because imma have to tap in to the turn signal wire for my custom headlights then ill soldered.

What's up, thanks for the video. I just got my lights and was reviewing your instructions. The harness I have has a green and white wire on the DRL. The white is supposed to be a dimmer. I'm assuming the green is the L turn signal. What do I do with the white wire?

Did the fog light fit in there I just bought them but the opening for fog lights look small
I get my headlights and fog lights tm and they the same fog lights and probably gonna be the same headlights ;);)
Me & my other fusion homie was planning on buying these because we didn’t have fogs & we get tired of seeing other fusions with these so since our cars didn’t come with fog lights would these still work ?
Yea it’ll still. You can wire them to your headlights that’s what I did.
What if you want to run like fog light?
You gotta get creative and do some cutting I was just lazy at the time.

Yes when you turn your park lights on they come on.

@@ljraww9064 Ya I'm in 4 fusion groups on fb. I couldn't make the flood last year due to repairs. If I'm lucky I might try to have a little vacation down there and I might try to contact you and pay you to install some DRLs for me.
