    Jello shots are stupid expensive I buy bulk. No way Im paying that much for 9mm. Thanks for the video you answered the other question I had...will my XC eat Syntech? seems like it did great.

    100% agree with the box. I actually did an almost identical test setup last week( Ive competed with 155 syntechs for awhile now, but pccs hate to feed them, havnt shot staccato ammo yet , but tested a few other instead ... still have a stack to try ranging from 100gn to 155, I'd like to have the same ammo for postol and pcc , so that's my search atm , that and seeing how far I can get a 300 blk to shoot consistently

    Try the Syntech 130 PCC in the XC, I’ve found it works the best of all the Syntech weights.

      I have tried that one too. I like the feel of the 150 the best, personally.

    Interesting video lots of folks like lighter faster loads to work the comp but you like the heavy slow ones. I agree that the Jello Shots box is trash. In my order one or more came damaged and just loaded some up recently not good at all. Maybe they should just sell in bulk plastic packs.

      Ya, maybe the comp is just so good that everything just feels easy. As far as the ammo boxes go, the Jello Shots already cost significantly more than other brands. I feel like the least they can do is provide a decent box. We shouldn't have to pay even more for that.

    What recoil spring weight are you using ?

      @@FiringLineShooting I have the DPM system in my Sig are you also running the DPM in your Staccato? What Spring weight are you running in your Staccato XC in this video?

    • @FiringLineShooting
      @FiringLineShooting  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @@PhillipPierceall No. OEM is 7 lbs. I am running a 9lb spring for maximum reliability.

    I don't recommend the ammo because of the box! really? you put them in an ammo can.

    • @FiringLineShooting
      @FiringLineShooting  หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@83tactical I have since had COUNTLESS problems with the ammo. I was a dealer, and I won't even purchase any more from them. It's atrocious. (Soft shooting, but only when it works)

      @ the ammo is probably loaded for a 8 or 9 pound recoil spring, ammo that light needs a gun tuned for it.

    Too much talking, and no one here cares about your draw time. Can you give us a quick summary of the ammo?

    • @FiringLineShooting
      @FiringLineShooting  9 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Hurtful... FYI Draw time was only relevant in the explanation of how long the course of fire actually took. In my opinion, for most practical shooting sports, the Jello Shots and Syntechs are the better options, but maybe for longer range precision target shooting, the Staccato could have an edge. That's just a pretty niche role, and I think that most people are shooting things like USPSA and IDPA, in which case I would prefer Jello Shots or Syntechs. I would probably mostly buy Syntechs because all of the Jello Shot boxes I pulled out quickly came apart and made a mess.

    I reload ALOT. I load lighter bullets for less recoil. It’s a pretty good rule of thumb that the lighter the bullet, the less the perceived recoil.

      Yeah no.. for competitive shooting you have to meet a “power factor”.
      9mm minor must be 128PF.
      That and enough energy to drop steel..
      To get there we typically run the 147’s and 150’s.
      Velocity times the bullet weight decided by 1000
