Here’s my unbiased review. I was rushed, only had time to shoot 20rds of the Staccato Match. Had a bench setup at 25yds. Shot 2 10rd groups. First 10 shot group had an SD of 6!!!! ES of 25. Avg 1042fps, 2” group. 2nd group had SD of 4!!!! ES 12!!!! Avg 1043fps 1.7” group. I measured each rounds COAL and every cartridge was +-.001” from 1.121”. Only had time to shoot it from my G19 with 4.5” barrel. I was doing load development for my 45ACP before I shot these, so idk if it’s because I was dealing with it heavy recoil before shooting it, but it was very low recoil. I’m very impressed by this stuff. Makes me feel like I’m wasting my time reloading for 9mm when I can’t get SDs like that with my handloads and the accuracy is on par with my handloads.
My eyes are my limiting factor. I had lasik surgery about 10 years ago and that just accents how crappy my vision is with the front site! I just got some shooting glasses from Optics Planet with and assortment of pop-in, pop-out lenses and a bifocal in the top of the lens. Shooting is much easier now.
Appreciate the review. Just prioritized my Staccato P for competition until I can step up to the XL. I look forward to running the Staccato Match Ammo soon.
Ok i shoot the NRA PPC i have tried lots of ammunition, yes the 125 gr works well, but heres my problem! i need 50 yard ammo , so far the staccato and Remington ammo is similar , any suggestions for ammo at 50 yards
@@nicsu2128 phenomenal price for the match ammo, regular 115gr shouldn’t cost more than 15. At least near me I can usually find ammo inc, fiocchi, or pmc for 15
Gun specific ammo I see the hellcat and the hellcat pro have rounds made by federal i plan to try some…I’ll try this as well but I have a prodigy 🤷🏾♂️
You said tat it is a coated bullet. It is coated? (Coated is a plated bullet). Or is it actually a jacketed bullet which is a copper cup that the lead core is pressed into and the copper cut is swaged around it and much stronger and more accurate. . KnifeMaker
All the high-end comp guns are basically the same, meaning they're ALL Good! So, the advantage comes down to the individual. Their training, their skill level, their comfort zone. It seems a natural evolution for Staccato to introduce their own brand of ammo to match their firearms. The psychology of "match sets" is not new. Clothing manufacturers do it all the time. There may not be a huge linear difference between Staccato's ammo and the rest of the herd, but given their reputation, the ammo is probably good too. Advantages: They don't necessarily have to be physical😉
so......factory seconds bullets.... it better have a st-d of less than 20 and an avg spread of less than 10 for 30 bucks a box. by the time shipping kicks in, i might as well be shooting federal hst's the entire time. no thanks.
I picked some up from my LGS today to test. I was gonna pick up some fresh 9mm Starline brass, but saw this ammo it was $25/50 for the “match” ammo and $20/50 for the “target” ammo. Grabbed a box of each. Figured I’d shoot these and reuse the brass as my OCD won’t let me mix headstamps. Those are excellent prices. Idk what year you last bought ammo, but $25/50 for “match” ammo isn’t bad with a more premium projectile such as HAP. I deconstructed one. Brass is decently thick with 4.7gr of powder. Based on quanitity, and look of the powder I’m guessing they’re using something like unique. I’ll shoot it from a bench tomorrow from my G19 and CZ Shadow 2 and report back.
@@StuninRub SDs are important to anyone trying to shoot small groups at any distance past 10yds. The more repeatable the velocity, the more repeatable the path of the bullet.

The price has been updated to 1000 rounds for $350. And even less than that if you subscribe and save 14% more.

Thanks for all the info. I can’t wait to give it a try.
Hope you enjoy it!
They can keep their ammo at their prices
$25 for 50rds of match and $20 for 50rds of practice ammo. Not bad at all.

think it will work in most 4-5inch 2011 models. its high quality so works well in lots of models.
Thanks for the vid! 💪🏼

How did the Staccato ammo “feel more natural in the gun”? 😂

How far are you shooting for SD and ES to come into play? I have shot 4 inch groups out to 500 yards with 50 ES ammo.
