Thanks for sharing! Your video skills are always top notch, but when you added the beauty of the Canadian landscape, it became stellar! Thanks again for another fantastic video. Very much appreciated. Take care.
@@LouisianaRailProductions I can only imagine. That is what I have shared with people about visiting the Grand Canyon, pictures do not show the real view. Until you stand on the rim and look across it, you cannot fathom the real view. Your video is great, but I certainly understand what you are saying. On my bucket list. Once again, thanks for sharing.
the Canadian Pacific is an amazing company, from trains, ocean liners, and Canadian Pacifc Airlines......its definitely dynamic in every endeavor they do, and its amazing to be the only railroad to operate from Canada all the way to Mexico.....they know how to run a railroad without a doubt
and James J. Hill, a Canadian from Guelph Ontario, was the builder of the Great Northern Railway.....amazing that Van Horn, an American, built the Canadian Pacific, and James Hill, a Canadian, built the Great Northern Railway in the US
Very well done. I hope your next visit will be an entire video of the Rodgers Pass and Mount Macdonald tunnels. Those amazing feats of engineering are a marvel to behold.
We got to visit the tunnel portals and other notable locations, but we just didnt have luck of filming a train through there. Definitely gotta make a return!
the Canadian Pacific operated "The Canadian", which still operates today under Via Rail Canada, the only all stainless steel domed streamliner still operating in North America still to this day
Great work with this series. I appreciate the incredible amount of work that has gone into these videos. I live in the Rockies, but never get tired of the majestic beauty.
As someone born and raised in relatively flatlands with a few hills here and there, it was absolutely mind blowing driving through those mountains. I’m glad you enjoyed it!
It's mind-blowing how much CP now owns. All of KCS, INCLUDING The Panama Canal Railway and of course everything that the CPR has. Stretching over four countries. Not three like most think.
Oh no you didn't further east to Calgary? :) I live n Calgary and this video was excellent to watch you did miss some areas but it's worth doing another video in the mountains as you said :) for train watchers is worth the trip up here to Western Canada Keep up with great videos! :)
We stayed in Calgary a few days of the trip. Highly recommend you check out of video of the Alberta Prairie where we explore Calgary a bit at the HQ. We hope to make a return trip to document moving trains in many of the areas we missed. Thanks for watching!
Your excitement was justified. Excellent work. Interesting to see a KCS motor on the point north of the border. I'm guessing it's had some crew amenities installed since the merger.
@@LouisianaRailProductions From today’s Trains News Wire, “CPKC has made upgrades to 175 legacy Kansas City Southern locomotives that allow them to lead trains in Canada.” Menards must have had a sale on hot plates and microwaves.
Excellent video, very well done. Two things that I found a bit strange: “Trans-con “ is a term not used to describe the transcontinental railways of Canada. We Canadians think of the BNSF when we hear that. Also, Highway 1 is not the “Trans.” The proper and always used name is the “Trans-Canada” or its highway number. The “Trans-Canada” has several routes in Canada with differing highway numbers. Great video and I will watch for more on your channel.
Ahh my mistake. Heard a Canadian railroader refer the route as the Transcon and I just rolled with it. Appreciate the correction on the highways well. I’ll get it right next time haha!
Very nice production. As far as I know, the station at Glacier was demolished. I was near there last year and it was gone. Last known photos in 2021 showed it pretty bad shape.
That would explain why we didn’t see it there. Our lack of experience in the area just had us thinking we weren’t looking at the right place. Thanks for clearing that up.

Been excited to get this one out! This is the finale of our spectacular trip to Canada in September. Thanks for watching guys!

Thank you Keith! Video can’t do it justice. It’s unbelievable in person!

Great video Bishop! I like the documentary on the Canadian Transcontinental route.

This is really great seeing the trains going through the Canadian Rockies and have an awesome week everyone.🚂🚃🚃🇺🇲
Spectacular! Thank you so much, Bishop and your crew, for all that y'all do for rail enthusiasts everywhere.
I really appreciate it!

Thanks, Outstanding Video😎
Amazing production, looks like something I would've watched as a kid
Lots of great train viewing in Canada, thanks for visiting!
Very cool. Welcome to our neck of the woods.
Majestic mountains, wonderful rivers and picturesque landscapes - it's really a phenomenal train spotting program !! Greetings from India.
Banff is one of the most impressive and beautiful stretches of railway in North America
Great shots and great video Bishop!
Thank ya Karl!
Awesome video man as always! Very beautiful up there
Great Video as always Brother TY
😊🙏✝️
Drove through there on my 5th vacation from Norway in May this year, amazing video! Thanks for sharing!
Great shots and cool video

Definitely easy to forget about PCR. What’s crazy is that I think it’s still the smallest mileage wise.
Great video

nicely done! Ive filmed countless times through here as this is in my backyard and it never disappoints
I watched a lot of your videos in preparation of this trip. Love your footage! Glad you liked it!
@@LouisianaRailProductions Thank you, the mountains are amazing
Great video.
Nice stuff! You even got a horn salute while filming at Morant's Curve!
We shot 4 trains there and every one gave us a salute. Crews seem to know the drill there haha!
Nice catches

Yeah must have cause as of a few months ago, I was told that KCS motors couldn’t lead in Canada.

Do you know what CPKC auto train goes north through Heavener
Referring to 181? MMX?
And Vancouver* not Victoria. Victoria is on an Island.
Ahh found bad info I guess. Thanks!
