Thank you for posting this as I just ordered one of these off Ebay, 32" unit that I will cut to about 18-20inch long, 155.including delivery and 20. cheaper then buying the 18" model. I hope my unit comes with the mystery piece as I was wondering how I would be able to fold it up as they show no pics of it folded, glad you figured it out as I am a engineer so I would never figure it out on my own!!🙃
sweet! Wondering why you got that extendahoe off? Were you replacing the extendahoe cylinder seals and lines? Cant wait for my 580 to be up and running and have a thumb installed. Still debating going hydraulic or not...
Hydraulic is clearly better but significantly more expensive and complicated because you need to not only make extendable fixtures to power it but also integrate it into the existing hydraulic system
