It seemed way more like the wife’s problems were that she would never be the most important person in his life. Even if he wanted to be there for his sister, he could have tried to comfort his wife and assure her that he valued her. He only cared about her when she and his sister were gone. The situation with the BIL sort of led her to that realization. She could’ve handled some things better like addressing how she felt like with the BIL and the lack of bedroom activities, but she probably thought that he would mock her for wanting his attention again. Hopefully they’ve both learned from this and can find happiness with other people

How did they get voted TA? And being called selfish? That name is infamous. They were trying to share something that would very likely have an impact on the child's life, knowing her mother didn't know about it. Maybe they didn't say it right (who hasn't done that?), but they were trying to let her know so she could make an informed decision. Honestly, the only part I disagreed with was when they declined to discuss it with her when the subject was brought up again. That was the perfect opportunity because the mother was willing to listen to what was being said, and could've been better prepared for what would happen when she entered school

    • @TeknoKID19
      @TeknoKID19 6 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

Because of the way she handled the situation. She somehow turned a very simple conversation into an absolute nightmare for a pregnant women to have to deal with. Its also blatently none of her buisness.
Also she's too sensitive, "She's going to get bullied in school!" Ok, I both understand that, but for one second I need you to understand that she's probably either get bullied or be the bully at school at some point for something if someone really wants it to happen.
Both of these combined make a pretty nasty situation. Its okay to be concerned a bit about stuff like that but knowing when to stop is just as important. Plus Karen is a really common name, so if she has a son and decides to name him kyle is this chick gonna be all over her again?
TL;DR Know your lane and be mindful to stay in it. Know when your info is rejected and dust your boots off and move on when you realize this (As she finally did.) You may think of that as cruel and wanting to be a sore winner later on, but its simply acknowledging that they disagree and understanding that the more they push against it the worse things will get.

I can understand in the 2nd story why OP just left, she was already set on moving with her husband at the beginning, but him putting her as a second priority and not being able to address some needs of her (be emotional or carnal needs) just made her decision easier to make and kinda gives props to OP for not acting on feelings, BUT I feel after she left her husband to go to the little town, she should've told her husband the truth. Let it be about the situation with BIL or their bed problems, all that resulted in just a mumbo-jumbo of pent-up desire and her ultimately signing the divorce just made her feel a level of freedom she hasn't felt on a long time. (And her rambles about her intimate life at the end just seem like it is what she wanted all along, nothing serious, just have a validation on her body by the opposite gender, or something like that)

Like you've clearly never been neglected before if you don't immediately take her side. Her story is a TEXTBOOK case of relationship neglect. (Not talking about the sex either) Her husband's ability to put literally anything else above his own wife(the person who should be his highest priority mind you) makes it so painfully obvious that she should have left years ago. He even didn't take her seriously when she wanted the divorce, proving he viewed her as a lesser person. Like this isn't even up for debate, she's in the right and she is so strong for putting up with him for that long.

You're allowed to feel how you want, and judging by how whiney the husband would get over his wife not completely complying to his every demand, she couldn't have gotten out of there fast enough. I'm sorry but if you're lacking in a department(sexual emotional laborial etc) you need to be stronger in every other department. Sexless relationships can work and many do, but you can't just neglect for years and years and expect your partner to be okay with it. I’m not sure how this whole “Karen” thing started or why Karen was even used at all in the first place. But I know a few Karen’s that ARE NOT entitled at all! Probably the best way to begin would be reassuring her that Karen is a lovely name but unfortunately has become a very rude slang term. Very short, simple and conveys the issue clearly.

I was one of the people on the Negative Side I was like "They are going to be bullied for that name."
They are just a Karen and they might have ended up a Karen and such.
It's crazy how Caroline kinda sounds like Karen but internet let's not make another word the representation of a term we already have enough of that.
But yeah we really made something people used as a pretty common-uncommon name and made it this kind of Term similar to the N-Word (I have Black blood I'm just not trusting YT).
It seems the ending in the end was good in the end but hmm...
Now to put on the conspiracy hat as I do for most and really just this is becoming more of a fun trend.
If you wonder when this story has chances of being fake well there are 2 main points.
The first is just the concept and the second is when the kids are kinda bullying the name because it's just to cliche in a way that is less believable than the others

I will say this, Stephanie not listening to op and naming Karen, Karen, was a bad move. But I get, she didn’t know, like we think all memes will die eventually and it’s just a name at the end of the day, no big deal.
The problem I have is grown ass adults are being rude and unprofessional to a child because of her name, to the point the parents have to legally change it which is unfair because that’s the name she knew her entire life. With the kids bullying her, i get it, kids being mean is nothing out of the ordinary, everyone expected that to happen. But, adults?! Really?! The child is literally a toddler! It’s sad. I’m glad the parents decided to change the name for their child’s sake but I know it hurt them to do so.

Uhhh....I don't agree with the judgment. She is NTA. She was trying to inform her friend. She wasn't being mean.

Stephanie owed that apology. Pregnancy hormones are NOT an excuse for being unreasonable. Stop trying to downplay how you were treated. You weren't mean or selfish about it. You were genuine.
I find that Karma came back on Stephanie for having to call her kid by a nick name.

Oh I forgot this had 2 Stories.
As for the Ex-Wife Story I think she should just follow her path and try to get with the guy.
I feel like I've felt a similar feeling before maybe I'm just trying to pretend to be someone I don't know anything about but
Sometimes you won't get another chance to ask again and she kinda feels like the kind of person who is making herself suffer more than they need to in order to try and deny who they like who they fantisize about
