CULLEN PFS Restraint Strap Installation: Surface fixed to I-Joists w/ UZ-Clip

A short animation showing how to install the Cullen Pre-Formed Strap (PFS) surface fixed in an I-Joist floor application.
Installation instructions:
Nails into first noggin: 75mm long nails
Fixings through uz-clip & strap: Use 3.4 x 35mm square twist nails fixed with Paslode PPN35Ci or equivalent
Skew nails: 75mm long nails
1) Position solid timber noggin horizontally between the wall and the first joist and nail into place through I-Joist top flange.
2) For the additional noggins placed between the I-Joists fit 2 No. uz-clips staggered either side and fix with 3 No. nails(2 No. into top and 1 No. into side).
3) The noggins are then dropped into position and nailed into I-Joist top flange.
4) Once nailed into position a skew nail is placed in the opposite corner to secure connection.
5) After fitting all noggins the PFS strap can then be located tight to the block work and centred on the noggins.
6) The strap should be nailed with a minimum of 8 No. fixings evenly spaced and into at least every joist.
